Never really updated me during the repair as I asked. Ignored my calls. Spent more time asking and treating me as if I was some gang member from the streets because I am from Chicag. Wrong body trim color put on car. Front clip, quarter panel, and front bumper doesn't fit correctly. Gave me back the vehicle without head lights working and connected and it wasn't buffed correctly so paint looked faded see pictures. I finally got them to fix all other issues after 4 months and let the bumper not fitting right go, so I could move on.I wouldn't use this service again and what's broken and not fixed I'm paying another garage to fix. It wasn't hard to do the job right the first time and my insurance set me up with them. Has me questing their motives. Did they make me satisfied after the fix? Sure, I can live with it. Father always said "do it right the first time you won't have to do the job again." Words to live by Kaizen. Your reputation depends on you and the services you provide, be mindful of that in the future and good luck.Service: Body & Trim

The level of costumer service is amazing, they go above and beyond. Renee is very amazing and tentative of costumers issues. Always keeping you updated on your vehicle. I will definitely refer them to friends and family.

Just recently had my 2015 Dodge journey repaired and they did such an AMAZING job. Angelica was a pleasure to deal with as well. She helped put my mind at ease at the beginning, kept me informed the whole way through, and provided amazing customer service. Would recommend this collision center to ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants their car repaired professionally.

This is a Great collision repair shop. The shop team completed repairs on my 'rear ended' car with the excellence and efficiency that was what I had hoped for. Mission accomplished!This was a great experience from the moment I walked through the door and was greeted by Renee, and continued all the way through the repair process, managed by Service Advisor Favian who kept me informed on progress. The work is quality work, but the dishonesty is unacceptable.They did beautiful repair work on my Lexus, but when I picked it up they told me my battery had failed while it was in their care, so they had replaced it. I was annoyed because first, I could have gotten a partial refund for the old battery that failed prematurely. Second, they put in a 7-year Lexus brand battery at twice the price of what I would have bought, since I'm planning to trade in this car in a couple of years. Oh, and the battery wasn't covered by insurance.But the real problem came a couple of months later when, leaving work, my car wouldn't start. I got a jump. I kept having problems with the battery being drained. Since it was a new battery, I figured there had to be something wrong with my electrical system. My trusted, top-notch mechanic ran a bunch of tests and then called me to tell me the problem was the battery. It wasn't a new battery at all. I figured Kaizen had inadvertently mistaken a battery they had taken out of another car for a new one. So I call Kaizen, hoping they would clear up the mix-up and was surprised at their adversarial approach to the problem. I got transferred to AJ. There was no proof that this was an old battery, he said. And he had no interest in speaking with my mechanic. Finally he said he would think about it and get back to me, but he never did. Really?? They got paid several thousands of dollars for their work on my car, and weren't willing to fix a $250 mistake.I've used my mechanic for many years and have learned that I can trust him. Not so with Kaizen, unfortunately.Oh, and the other annoying thing in dealing with Kaizen is the ultra-conservative estimate of how long it will take to fix my car. Both times I have used them over the years, I have had to extend my replacement car rental at least a week each time. I could have saved a lot of money if I could have booked an accurate rental period from the beginning. Very annoying.They do quality work, but I don't want to do business with dishonest people.See photo below of the damage to my car that they fixed.

This shop was recommended by our insurance company for vehicle damage repair. We were very satisfied with the repairs performed. We were actually out of town when the repairs were completed and they delivered the car to our home. We thought this was above and beyond in terms of service! I would definitely recommend this shop for anybody needing these types of repairs.

The worst experience we ve had with anything with our cars. Took out explorer there that was in an accident. Our explorer was also damaged while in their possession so ended up having our vehicle over a week longer then originally planned. When we did get back was missing a part so had to wait for them to find it and install it. Also, my front passenger tire had 2 gashes in it. The Gm pulled up photos of my car when they got it and i never saw them but, of course, he said he could. I assume the tire was damaged when they told me they backed into my car while in their possession. The communication was terrible as Garrett never called me when they customer service lady told me he would. All in all, terrible experience and will never use them again or recommend them.Service: Body & Trim

Can't speak on the quality of their work as they turned me away. My appointment was scheduled a week ago to have my Tesla Model 3 repaired after it was hit.Kaizen had a week to call and let us know that they cannot order parts for Teslas. They never reached out to our insurance either. As evidenced by plenty of other reviews this shop has terrible communication skills. Now I have to wait who knows how long to get into another body shop. Thanks. IF YOU OWN A TESLA LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR BODY REPAIR.

This company tried to fix my Tesla but every time my car was returned to me it had more damage. The first time I dropped off my vehicle they scratched the quarter panel were they balanced my door they replaced on. I agreed to leave it there and they would fix the quarter panel. When I went back they had a new manager and all the office people had been let go. This time my rim was curb checked and they still did not fix the scratches. I left the car again and when I returned my windshield was broke and yes the scratches were still not fixed. This went on for months of them not returning my calls or giving me any update. The only way to get a response was to drive there. When I went back for the third time. This time the manager stated they curb check another rim and would have to buy another one. Every timeI went back they had a new manager and more problems. I spoke to two separate managers who agreed to give me a full refund and pay for the extra damage such as windshield and window tint. I kept all emails reference this. When I asked for the general manager I was told I couldn't go above the shop manager. I complained on their website and received a call from an employee who stated she would handle it and that she was advised by the owner to take care of me. After she failed to make anything happen I spoke to the owner Jacob Tilzer. After we spoke one time he has never spoken to me again. I have left several messages and emails with no response. My car has not been completed and I am still waiting for my refund.I also filed a complaint to BBB and after a month they stated that no one at Kaizen would respond to them.Service: Body & Trim

We recently took our 2021 Toyota Rav4 to Kaizen Collision in Gilbert for a repair after someone had hit our car in a parking lot. From our first contact to the time we picked our vehicle up, we were given outstanding care and customer service by everyone in the shop, particularly Hannah Pearce. She walked us through the process, gave us accurate and timely information and updates. She was able to get everything through our insurance without any issues. We were extremely happy with Kaizen Collision and will be recommending them to others. Hopefully, we won't need any accident repair but if we do, Kaizen will be the first place we call! ***AVOID THIS COLLISION SHOP IF POSSIBLE***My Vehicle got brought into this shop Beginning of February 2023, stayed there for about a month UNTOUCHED. I was working with Garrett Anderson, he updated me every few days but the whole time all I kept getting was "Your Vehicle is in line for the disassembly" for weeks. About a month later, my vehicle was then sent over to another Kaizen Collision Center in Tempe. *review will continue on for the Temple Location.

They proceeded with doing the work without authorization - never got the estimate approved. When they sent a revised estimate to us for additional work, we said to not do it and that they don t have authorization. They proceeded again and did the work saying that by taking it in for a quote we were giving them authorization. Why do estimates? Revised estimates? Then when the work was done they threatened a storage fee if we don t pick it up that day. We picked it up that day, which was weeks ago, and immediately upon getting home we found that it wasn t completed properly. We took it back in the next day and they said they needed to order a part to complete it and would let us know. So they didn t do the work properly that they didn t have authorization to do and then threatened us find someone else.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a small front bumper accident, and decided to go with these guys because of a recommendation from a good friend of mine. I have to say first of all the quality was absolutely fantastic! I had Hannah as my representative, the communication made everything a breeze. Definitely appreciate you guys!

This is THE worst place you could go to if you get in an accident. Issue after issue with fixing your car, problem after problem. You have to call over 10 times just to get an answer, and when they do they give you empty promises and excuse after excuse on why it is taking so long. Turns out they actually don t have the equipment for many things and they have to get help from their other locations. JUST GO TO THE OTHER LOCATIONS! Do not WASTE your time and money here. JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The worst decision I ve made was trusting them in the first place to take care of my car. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

My car looks great, but it took two whole months to get it back for headlight and hood damage done during a hit and run. When I arrived for the appointment the parts hadn t been ordered. I call the day they estimated it d be fixed, and every time I call after, week after week, it s a few more days or end of this week for another month. If I rented a car, I would have racked up almost $2k waiting for the car to be finished. I understand they were short staffed, and the owner was never impolite to me, but damn. I received one unsolicited text message about the progress and the rest of the time, I called. I cannot recommend this place. I wish I d gone somewhere with more regulations, maybe I would have fixed other damage there.Service: Body & Trim

Horrible. 2 months to fix a car. They do not return phone calls. The repaired door broke within a week then promises of checking into the issue started. My appointment was scheduled about a week ago through insurance. I go to drop off this morning and "they cannot order Tesla parts." Where was that information a week ago. Horrible customer service!!!! Worst part... There was a Tesla in their bay being worked on. Waste of my time! DO NOT GO HERE!!

We got into a small accident with our RAV4. Someone pulled out in front of us in a parking lot and dinged up our brand new car. We went to many places to get an estimate and frankly, so many collision shops out there are so busy that they didn't care/want to talk with us about our minor issue. But Hannah at the Gilbert location took us in, was quick to get an estimate, and worked diligently with insurance. Yes, to get the car in can take a while - but everyone is that way - but once in, Hannah had everything under control. When it was done, she called to tell us and then called us back to say that she wasn't happy with something - so it was going to take one more day. When we picked it up -- it was BEAUTIFUL! PERFECT! Kaizen Collision Center did an amazing job on my car. The paint matches perfectly and damages were repaired so well that you can't tell my car was in an accident. I am very impressed and super excited for have my car back. It was definitely worth the two weeks it was in the shop. I will definitely be going back if needed and refer to anyone who needs a body shop.

Easiest 5 stars I've ever given - these people are fantastic. Great customer service, even when I had questions about my car they were happy to help. Worked with my schedule and even took me back to my job (close proximity to their location) after dropping off my car. If you need your car repaired, definitely go to Kaizen!!

Not sure where to start with this review, from start to finish the experience was phenomenal. I dropped off my Jeep Grand Cherokee after getting into a car accident and the entire process was seamless. The nice young lady working the front desk was very polite and extremely helpful. She was able to answer all my questions and made sure I was taken care of from the second I dropped off my car until I came and picked it up. I would HIGHLY recommend using this company as they basically treated me like family and actually completed the work sooner than I was told it would be done!

Great work and great service! We took one of our high top work trucks in for repairs and they weren't able to fit it in their paint booth. They came up with an alternate solution and converted an area over the weekend to be able to paint the truck. The repairs turned out great! We will definitely use them in the future if the need arises.
