I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR VEHICLES HERE!After buying a used car and finding out later that it had quite a bit of issues, we decided to take it in to JR Transmissions. It s very hard finding honest and trustworthy mechanics however, Jason is exactly that. I being a young female, know absolutely nothing about cars, and Jason did not take advantage of that like I feel some people would. He actually explained to me how everything works and helped me understand what I was dealing with. He was very upfront about the situation and he dealt with the after market warranty company on my behalf. He really worked with me so I could fix my vehicle. Jason went above and beyond for me and was very helpful! I will be recommending JR Transmissions to anyone that is looking for a mechanic with integrity.Thank you very much Jason! My family and I were in a horrible situation where our back breaks completely went out. Jay was referred highly from our hotel. I'm so happy that I reached out to him. Now a days it's hard to find an honest mechanic. Jay was beyond honest and ethical. He even went out of his way to pick us up and drop us back off in our time of need. Jr was super nice and professional I had a prob with my ac, he brought me in asap hook it up re charged it. and now we re doing leak test to finalize the problem. Very great company. Every friendly employer and trustworthy.

Honest, solid, reliable, and more than anything, authentic. A real shop that isn't some dirty slug trying to rip off customers. It's an honest authentic real place that gets is done.Not just transmissions either total care shop.This is the place, VERY clean shop, like a surgical area. The knowledge is the best in town for gearboxes and transmissions. You want serious know how and absolutely perfect quality work. Then this is your place.

JR transmissions is fantastic, very quick turnaround on your vehicle, doesn't give you the other sales pitches you get from some of the major companies out there. Finally found a dependable mechanic that won't nickel and dime me for everything. Can't wait to go back.

I was in search of a knowledgable and trustworthy mechanic that is honest about what work needs to be done. Jason at JR'S was all of that and more! He did a complete engine replacement for a fraction of the quote I had from the dealership. Jayson's 3 decades of experience helped save me $1.5k+ in cost that would have resulted from misdiagnosis. He got right to the root of a misleading transmission problem, which ultimately saving me money. Moreover, he's a trustworthy mechanic charging competitive rates. You'll have a hard time finding a better guy to get your vehicle up and running.

They are hands down the most honest shop I have ever worked with.I was in the market for a new transmission on a Hyundai Sonota.It felt like every shop was not very knowledgeable on trouble shooting and just pointed out the obvious. Jason on the other hand knew what he was talking about.They went above and beyond in getting my transmission changed.The biggest catch is they are a shop of their word! He quoted me a specific price after calling the dealer to order the new transmission. However the dealership vendor gave him an incorrect price and it turned out to be more expensive.Jason however honored the price given because he understands what it means to be a customer!My car is back on the road and running better than ever!

I wanted to take the time to write a review, as JR Transmissions does not mess around! These guys know their stuff! I had some terrible issues go wrong with my vehicle due to rodent damage and these guys helped me out tremendously!!! I cannot speak highly enough on the honesty and integrity and how they not only took took their time on my problem child, they did not rip off my wallet either. Thank you so so much! I was stuck on the side of the road and a friend told me how great this shop was. I called and the owner was very empathetic and reassuring. Not only did he send a tow truck, he arranged a lyft for me to his shop since I was so stressed out. Upon testing my car, he informed me my alternator was the culprit. He ordered one on the spot, installed it and my car has run perfect since. I will never go to another shop again. Thank you for your caring professionalism sir!

Terrible!!! On dec 11 we booked an appointment for the following day. (December 12) I showed up with a leaky car to fix said leak and the owner was no where to be found! I called them and it was ignored, I texted them and it was also ignored so I drove a few minutes to Randy s Transmission located at 334 W 10th Ave and they got me sorted on the spot!

Stripped the electrical connection stud on the starter and then tried to cut a slot in the stud to get the connection to be tight as the nut would not travel the required distance. This occurred while reinstalling the starter after the transmission replacement and then he took zero accountability. They were the only shop to work on the vehicle since new (except basic oil changes) until we took it into another shop for starter issues. Parts and labor for the new starter were just under $1000 and major inconvenience of being stuck numerous times when it intermittently wouldn't start due to voltage right at minimum with poor contact. Owner then offered many theories as to who else could have done this (impossible). One theory he suggested was vandalism further insulting my intelligence. My only recourse is to share my story for others. Transmission works great for what it s worth!

He is knowledgeable and has excellent customer service. I would recommend this to ANYONE who needs anything for a transmission. Great place to bring you car/truck!!!

Honest and friendly. He stuck to his quote and didn't try to cheat us or tell us that there were other things wrong with the car. Didn't realize how bad it ran/drove until it was fixed. We will definitely be back for future car repairs/services.
