Doug Bromley was super helpful and clearly very experienced when it comes to Corvettes. He s been in the business for 30+ years and knows how to make sure the Corvette and customer is taken care of. I really appreciate everything he did to help me out!

Bromley's had my 1966 Corvette to get it ready to sell, and he did $2,793.61 worth of body damage to my car. I had to take it to another shop (USA Collision Inc. did a great job fixing Doug's damage) to get the body damage fixed. Doug wouldn't even return my text/call after I asked him about the damage. He tried to hide the damage when I came to pick it up, which I noticed as soon as I got home, so I sent him a text right away which he has ignored. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else, this is not an honest or honorable shop and should be avoided at all cost.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have a 1978 corvette that has been sitting for over 15 years. I recently got the bug to get it back on the road but I knew I did not have the time nor talent needed to get it going. After a 30 minute call to Doug I knew Bromley's was the only place to take the car too. Doug looked the car over and sent me a very reasonable quote on what all needed to be done to make sure the car was safe and functional. I cannot say enough about the job they did and the service Doug and his mechanics provide. I was kept up to date on all the work that was done and any additional issues they found on almost daily basis. After I picked up the car and drove it for a week it developed an oil leak from the valve cover, I called Doug and within hours he took the car and fixed the leak and even fixed a couple other small issues that had come up. Doug really does care about his customers and even after the car was complete he still takes time to answer my calls and give me advise if I need it. My car is running better than new and looks amazing. I cant wait to get it in to Bromley's for the Vintage air this spring and Paint in the near future.

Posting on behalf of a family member:Charges you crazy prices under the guise that they are making repairs to your car but in reality you ll have your car back for less than 24-48 hours and yet the same issue you took your vehicle in for originally will still be occurring. you ll take the car back in under warranty but to no one s surprises the warranty doesn t cover anything and you have to keep forking out more money for a car they never actually fix.

I just purchased a 1998 C5 Corvette. It had some know issues and some unknown issues. They took it in and went through everything. They texted me photos of everything and was very honest and fair. Even sent me a video of them test driving the car. I would highly recommend them for any work on your Corvette, new or old. Items I had done were new spark plugs and wires, trans fluid, diff fluid, fixed an exhaust leak, aligned the exhaust tips, and move the rear brake lines that were rubbing on the inside of the wheels. They also cleaned up the under side of the car and painted my exhaust with a nice flat black heat resistant paint. Yes, it's not the cleanest and nicest shop in town, but they do quality work at a reasonable price.

Do not recommend.Doug said his shop could find and fix my brake issue on my 72 Corvette. In the shop for a week and the problem was not resolved.Car was kept outside and returned dirty and with greasy boot prints smeared into the carpet on both sides.Doug became upset when I declined to use aftermarket products for 3000.00I prefer keeping the car original. They are not capable of finding the issue.Another week in the shop and no resolution.Car was again returned dirtier than last time, after I had just cleaned the mess they made before.I text him, but he declined to answer and left me hanging with no brakes.1900.00 for nothing and weeks without the car. These guys are parts changers. Not looking for the cause, but rather change the part until it s fixed, at the owners expense. There are others out there that will respect your decision on how you want to repair the car and also return you car clean and in the same or better condition than when it was brought there.Update:As you can see by the owners response, Doug is very arrogant. He says he knows what the problem is, yet I have no brakes.Well, guess what? I had someone else look at the car. It took all of 15 minutes for him to find that a compression fitting was used by the previous owner to patch a brake line. It was leaking and allowing air into the system. Problem solved in one hour for $150.00Doug and his guys missed this very simple fix. They claim to be experts? What an embarrassment for them, and to charge me 1900.00?Outrageous if you ask me!They left me in an unsafe situation as compression fittings are not suitable for brake lines. Even an amateur would know that.Live and learn, but take my bad experience and be warned. This place is struggling in many ways and won t be in business much longer. The owner is desperate and full of ego.He s pushy and doesn t listen to what his customer wants without getting huffy.Look for someone who cares about what they do, and how they treat people.Service: Brakes

I called Bromley s the other day with a concern about my Vette. I talked with Doug not knowing he was the owner, he took time out of his day to help me better decide what I should do with my Vette. I was in a predicament with the rear differential. I had it serviced from the dealer and it was still making noises. The dealer wanted to put a used Diff in and I didn t feel that was the right direction. Doug walked me through what was going on with it and at the end of the day I feel better with my decision!! Thank you for your time!!

I brought my 78 Corvette, that I recently purchased, to Bromley s for a new exhaust, a tune up and see if he could improve the performance of the air conditions. When I arrived I was greeted by Doug, the owner. He looked over the car, made a few comments, and listened to me as I explained what I would like done. Doug took the time to not only understand what I wanted but also explain what he believed would be the best course of action to take to get the results I wanted. Before doing any work he inspected the car and provided a quote. When I picked up my vette not only did it sound great but it ran better, cooler and the air conditions was greatly improved. They also adjusted my clutch and I suspect adjusted the shifter linkage and my headlights now mysteriously pops open and closes with purpose. I couldn t be more pleased and strongly recommend Doug and his friendly staff if you need any work performed on your Corvette. Top notch in my book!

Called Doug for some random issues I couldn't nail down with my C5, just 2 phone calls over the past year. He had no problem spending time with me on the phone (and not even being paid to do it) to discuss my electrical and alignment issues and get me running right. Thanks for the help Doug, and I hope Google updates the location of your shop soon.

I had my 1972 c-3 taken to Bromleys, for extensive work. Doug thoroughly explained what the car needed, in extensive detail. Doug also gave a realistic estimate of what it would cost to do each section of the car. After all was said and done, ie; engine, suspension, brakes, etc etc, I can safely say I am the proud owner of one of the finest C-3's on the planet. I am willing to put it up against any comers. I will also tell you the service at Bromleys is second to none. Doug and his crew are top notch.

My dad recently had his 1992 Corvette worked on by the amazing staff here! He had bought the car 8 1/2 months ago and had it worked on by a previous mechanic....they had the car for for that length of time and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car. My dad was very pleased to have his car fixed correctly with no more issues. He had all most given up hope that the car was not going to be fixed properly. He received his car back the day after Christmas and the whole staff at Bromley's made his year! He highly recommends anyone with Corvette problems to take their car directly to Bromley's and not anywhere else! Thank you again Doug and his entire staff!!!!!!

I rarely write reviews, however, in this case I am making an exception. I needed to have some work done on my C5 Vette recently. Since I just purchased the car I was hesitant to take it to just any mechanic. I did some research and came across Bromley's Corvettes. I read several reviews and then actually communicated directly with someone who had also recently taken his Vette to Bromley's for service. Because his feedback was very positive I contacted Doug the owner and set up a time to take my car to him. Please know that Doug and his team have a full service shop and can handle everything from full restorations to custom engine work and everything in between. I was only going there for some normal services, fluid changes, etc. It is nice to find somebody that specializes in Vettes that is willing to do the routine maintenance items as well. His is a complete service shop and he can work on everything from an original 1953 all the way up to the modern C7. My experience was outstanding. From my initial contact with Doug to going down and picking up my car when he was finished was a try pleasure. He was honest, the work was completed in a timely manner and the price he quoted was the price I paid. If you just bought your first Vette or if you are currently the proud owner of your 10th Vette, you can't go wrong at Bromely's. I give him him the highest recommendation.

BEWARE! Totally got ripped off...When I first met the owner, he said Corvette owners are notorious for being shady and wanting things to be fixed but not wanting to invest the money into it. Doug seemed like he knew what he was talking about, but he did ramble pretty fast.So after buying my 73' Corvette, I bought it to his shop to fix a few things on the car and get it to be my dream car. I told him to give me a full list of all that needs to be done, and we'll start with the major concerns first and then address cosmetic issues. After having my car for a month and spending nearly $5,000, I got the call that it was ready to go. As a side note, I had no engine problems before bringing it in.So I picked it up and took off on the 101. I immediately could tell that something wasn't right as the car wouldn't even go over 60! Gradually slowing, and then it wouldn't go above 40... In the car, while driving on the shoulder to get off the 101, I call Doug to tell him the car is not fixed, and his response was, "well that's just an old car for you, sometimes they work great, and then they just go out on ya..." I then asked him if he even test drove it before he gave it to me. His response was that it was probably taken around the block. That should have been my 1st sign.Ignorantly, I had it towed back to him and said, please do not give the car back to me until all the issues are fixed. A month later, I get the call the car is ready again. So I pick it up. This time he tells me the Holly fuel injection system is off (Which he charged me to tune) and that sometimes there is a pop in the engine, and you'll use RPMs, but then it catches and runs again. Encouraging...I left again with the car after spending another $700.Upon getting close to home, that pop and drop of RPM's got worse, and it started stalling on me at lights when I would hit the gas... Again, called Doug up and got the same BS excuses of it being an old car and that maybe I should go back to a carburetor. After that, I found Four Peaks Motorsports, and I had my corvette towed up to them. I gave them the receipts to see what Bromley's had done, and they laughed, saying, wow, he really screwed you.Just on parts alone, most things were double the price, and labor was greatly inflated.Within 5 days of leaving my Corvette with them, they had all of my issues resolved, and the car is running stronger than ever.So all that to say, maybe the Corvette owners are not the shady ones as much as some of the repair shops out there.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Engine repair, Auto detailing

I purchased a C6 and I had concerns regarding the exhaust system. I spoke to Doug Bromley about the exhaust issue. He recommended that I come down and they would look at it. The nominal fee for the inspection was the best investment I could have made. The honest assessment and expert mechanics educated me and reassured me that everything was safe and sealed. I love the C6 and would recommend Bromley's.

Doug really knows his stuff he is the owner. He helped me get a piece of mirror glass instead of a whole mirror assembly which saved hundreds. Also several oil leaks got fixed one still had a minor leak and no questions asked he took it back and fixed it and that's what I love about this shop if there is an issue from the work which is very rare he gets it fixed and he doesn't say that wasn't from me or anything like that.

I took my 74 Corvette to Bromleys Corvettes to have my engine rebuilt and I could not be happier! He saved me a ton of money and time and not to mention headache! He was extremely knowledgeable and honest (Don't see that to much...) I am now having him put some Bromleys custom exhaust on and I can not wait! Thank You Doug!

Doug is the best. On my 66 Vette, custom front & rear suspension, custom exhaust, brakes, tires & wheels. Super attention to detail and goes out of his way to make things right. Offers recommendations and options for all work being done, collaborates and is careful with one's budget. Whenever I have a question or an issue, Doug responds quickly through email, text or a phone call. He is over 100 miles away from me, but my 66 will always go to him. Thanks Doug!

I am really pleased with the workthat Bromley's Corvette shop done on my C6 Corvette. I had a loud noise coming from the drive train and could not pin point it. I made a major mistake and took it to a dealership where it just sat for two weeks untouched. I took my specialty car (Corvette) to a specialty shop.Great service, great work, and down to earth owner... Go any place but this place. Bromleys Corvettes is a rip off report waiting to happen. Had work done here, had to have it redone elsewhere, this place is a freaking joke. If you love your vette do yourself a favor and find another shop. I DID!Doug talks a great talk but hes a scammer. Hes awesome at spending your money without telling you, then threatens he has your car feel free not to pay. You've been warned.

The owner is extremely knowledgeable on all generations of corvette. I hardly had to say what was wrong with my C4 and he knew exactly what spots to check. Got my car back fixed and with more knowledge about maintenance on my vehicle
