DO NOT TRUST MECHANICS HERE. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT AN HONEST MECHANIC. Went in for an oil change and inspection. The tech Left a nail in the side of a tire and didn t tell anyone. Marked it on the tire but didn t let us know. We were on a trip and noticed the mark and nail. How is this acceptable?Pictures of the invoice stating tires all good

Called ATAC this morning due to starting issues on my Tundra. They ran a diagnostic and replaced battery. Was out the door within 15 minutes! Appreciate the quick and honest work Jason and Wayne! I moved here from Alaska and happy to have found a local mechanic nearby. My wife and I will be taking all our vehicles here!

Went thru entire car checking for any problems. Found none. After all that, only charged for oil change and wipers. Will continue to use their services for all 3 cars. Honest and thorough.

Found my mechanic for as long as I live in Arizona. I would drive across the state for this place. I don t mind paying a little extra if I can trust a mechanic to be honest and be straightforward with me. And good, of course.I had been quoted over $5,000 on replacement and repairs for my a/c at another shop and a couple small issues. I luckily came here for a 2nd opinion.I gave ATAC free reign on if they felt that I needed new fluids (brake, transmission, etc), of which would have cost a few hundred, to go ahead and do it. but upon returning they said that all the fluids were fine and there was no point in charging to replace. Also the a/c repairs were nonexistent. There was a disconnected drainage hose and some cleaning it needed.Total bill at the first place $328.Things done: diagnostics, oil change.Total bill at ATAC $153.Things done: diagnostics, oil change, cleaned out a/c blower, repaired issue, replaced a cabin filter that was gone for some reason, and a high five.Thanks guys. I would be willing to pay more because of your integrity and I paid half of the cost of the other place and you did triple the work!

We were referred to this shop by someone who had had a great expirence. We had to have extensive work done. The shop did an amazing job and they are very kind people. We will continue to go back if we ever need more work done. Thank you.

I don t like to share my secret favorite places! These guys know what they do and how to do it! They don t upsell or talk you into changing out your blinker fluid when you know dam good and well you did it yourself last week. Only one complaint is they didn t reset my radios clock after unplugging the battery. So now I have to go google that . Stay far away from this place so I can fit in my last minute emergency reservation. Thanks!

Avoid this shop. I brought my car in for a single lug nut and stud replacement on one wheel my friends who are mechanics informed me parts would be about $30 and labor shouldn t be more than $150. They charged $285 for labor and did not attempt to get a hold of me to provide an estimate. I will not be back to this establishment.Update: I ve never went to an auto shop that didn t provide an estimate prior to completing the service. I never stated to anyone just fix it. My concern was not regarding the price of the parts, it was the labor. I just bought new tires and I don t understand how labor on all four tires was less expensive than 1 lug nut/stud replacement.Please do run my payment. My intention of this post was never to not pay and I never asked for a refund. I pride myself in supporting small businesses as much as possible. My intention for this post was only to warn potential customers of the lack of transparency this auto shop provided.

I brought my 1987 Ford Crown Victoria here for an emissions repair after it failed for an evap leak. Not only did they identify the problem quickly, they had it fixed the very next morning and the car passed without a problem. These guys were an absolute dream to work with. Jason at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and the technician who did the work did an outstanding job. Their prices are extremely fair, the work is of the highest quality, the staff is amazing, and they only do exactly what you ask. I will continue to recommend ATAC to everyone I know and they've gained a customer for life.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Such a relief to have a reputable vehicle maintenance shop to go to. Been using them for over a year and can't say enough about the quality work they have done on both of my vehicles. There are no shade tree mechanics there. They have gained my trust for sure. Hard to find a garage that you feel safe to do business with. Eric runs the front desk and he won't give you the run around and Wayne is owner/manager and knows his way around all kinds of vehicles, plus their staff of mechanics are certified and very experienced. I highly recommend this garage for your automotive needs and services.

It s been awhile since I had to look for a good auto shop. My father in law let us know about this shop called ATAC. Great customer service the first time I called. I let Eric know that this vehicle is sentimental to us and they took it from there. Eric and his team lead by Wayne were so awesome! Courteous, humble, friendly, knowledgeable people and would recommend to everyone! Prices are very reasonable and they work with you! I found a new Auto Shop for LIFE! A+++++

Awesome on all counts! They are so incredibly honest! I've been taking my vehicle there now for at least 4 years . Another shop told me I needed all new brakes even though my vehicle had very low mileage . These guys were totally honest and told me that I didn't need all new brakes , but just brake fluid to be flushed and new pads . Great group of people working here who are friendly and professional. Usually I wait for my car to be serviced and sometimes it's about an hour-and-a-half wait. They check-in on there customers offering water far more than any first class flight attendant! Very clean shop!

Live not too far from this incredible bunch of experienced, professional, honest and friendly mechanics! I've taken my car to ATAC now for a couple of times for oil change. They did a great job and at a very reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone who may need their services in the East Valley (Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler etc.).

We have used ATAC for years now.The owner Wayne is awesome.Everyone working there is kind, helpful and very caring. They take care of your car neat, clean and job done 110%. Prices are great. Highly recommend

I love the guys here. Honest hard working genuine people. My car needed anew compressor for the AC and I went to AMCO first where they wanted to give me a new kit and charge $1600, brought it here and they advised me only a new part not a whole new kit, still cost about $1100 but saved me $500!! Very busy tho so make sure you call ahead

Exceptionally kind people. When it comes to mechanics, you usually have to pick two of three: Reasonably priced, honest, or good quality. These guys are as close to all three as I've ever found.

I have been going to ATAC for over 20 years. They are honest, reasonable, and reliable. The team there is great about telling you what the immediate need is and what repairs can wait. I feel like I've always received a fair price when I've needed a repair.

I am proud and grateful to live two miles from ATAC. I have taken my vehicle to ATAC for multiple years now for oil changes and repairs. Eric has always told me exactly what's going on with my car without trying to sell me extra (like other big names have).This company has taken care of me no matter what. They offered me a ride home when my vehicle was towed to their facility. They find me coupons and warranties and always take care of me.I told Eric that my 06 cobalt is barely worth a grand, and that any repair I make is simply to get me between work and home. He understood and knows that when I come in for an oil change. This is evidence of of a company that thrives on trust, integrity, and honesty.My last name is Spletter, which is an uncommon last name. Many people would not remember it though. But they do.I wish everyone could experience what I have with a trustworthy, unique, and quality company like ATAC. I recommend this company absolutely.

From one mechanic to another I couldn't be more thrilled with my service over the years. I've learned it is best to have a back up plan to fixing the wife's car. These guys understand all situations. I can work on my wife's car if I had the time and wanted the headache, but I choose to have them do it if it isn't easy. I get a great deal and warranty. The misses is happy that she is taken care of. Eric and Wayne will explain things to you on a level that you understand. You guys 100% deserve this five star review.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I ve had my awesome Malibu MAXX since 2008 and she has been so good to me. So I try to keep up on all the essentials to keep her running smooth.Each visit to ATAC includes a thorough assessmentand recommendations for consideration.This last visit includes a note that the radio antenna must have been snapped off in a car wash and an estimated replacement cost. I gave the go ahead and am delighted with the replacement that has a flexible base to avoid a similar accident.It is this kind of professionalism and attention to detail that keeps me coming back.

We moved to AZ two years ago with 4 "elderly" vehicles. We needed a mechanic as soon as we arrived. Over the past 2 years, we have been here multiple times and they are quick to get us in and assist in any problems. They are honest and reliable (my father in law was a mechanic, so husband actually knows his stuff). They go above and beyond to assist. 17 year old son likes to try and do his own work on his Jeep and they are actually willing to work with him rather then shun his efforts. They take the time to explain the problems to him and show him potential issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATAC.

I had to have major repair work done to my vehicle. Eric and his staff went above and beyond to give me great service and honest advice. When I had a seemingly similiar problem with my car a couple months later, Eric paid to have my car towed to his shop and spent a day working to figure out what the problem was. It was a completely different issue.He took the initiative to research recalls and warranties on my vehicle, contacting the dealership himself to discover a rare problem with my engine that will be handled free of charge to me. He did not charge me a penny for all of this legwork. Eric and his team stand behind their work, provide outstanding service and go the extra mile. I will be recommending ATAC to anyone I know in need of a good and honest mechanic.

I have been using ATAC for the past 15 years and won't go anywhere else. Wayne and his team at ATAC are always HONEST and FAIR which is rare in auto repair. I have sent multiple friends and family and anyone else who needs auto care to ATAC and all of them love this shop. I have been a customer of ATAC for almost 5 years now. My experience with ATAC has been consistently positive. From oil changes to major suspension and exhaust work, they are professional, quick and honest. There are probably 4 or 5 different shops between my house and ATAC but I will always drive the little bit further it takes to have them do the work. Having a mechanic you trust is invaluable, I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else.I recently had ATAC do custom exhaust work on my truck (headers, cats, x-pipe, mufflers and tips) and am very impressed with the quality of their workmanship. The welds are all very smooth and clean, the pipe is routed clear of the drive shaft and suspension. You can see their attention to detail and quality in the welds and pipe bends, it all looks so clean it could be stock.Anyway, I have also had them replace my AC compressor, fix a couple AC leaks, replace major suspension components, fix miss fires, remove a propane fuel system (installed aftermarket before the truck was mine), as well as regular maintenance items. This is all on a F-150.They've also replaced a fuel pump regulator and a turbo pressure valve as well as regular maintenance on my VW Jetta.I would have no hesitation recommending ATAC to anyone, they do everything they can to take care of their customers.

This place is great. I don't do too many google reviews, but I feel I have to for ATAC. I have been bringing all of my cars here for about 5 years now. I cannot say enough about how upfront and honest this team is. Wayne, the owner, is the best. I have experienced multiple occasions where Wayne personally (or a member of his team) has come out and looked at my car (or my kids' cars) and done a quick parking lot diagnosis of something. HIs knowledge and expertise is second to none. Just today, my daughter experienced the same thing today as she was having problems with her car starting. They did a full test but were unable to duplicate the problem. She fully expected to pay a diagnosis fee. They refused to charge her. I will continue coming here simply because a good honest mechanic is hard to find. When you talk with Wayne, you know he is simply down to earth and a straight shooter. I knew this from the first time I interacted with him and I have continued to bring my cars here to ATAC ever since. I have found that there prices can sometimes be just a little more expensive than some other places I have called for a quote--(after all, you an always find "some guy who is a friend of a friend to do things "cheaper")--but I am OK with it because I KNOW they are a well established business and I KNOW they are being honest. Plus, they offer a 2 year warranty on all of their work because they use good quality parts (not the cheap garbage that dies after 90 days). I have only had to use the warranty once, and they honored without any question. All of there work on all of my cars has been excellent.I have had all types of work done--a/c, electrical, brakes, ingition issues, starter issues, etc. All work has been professional and timely. Seriously, if you are the type of person that prefers an HONEST mechanic (as opposed to just finding the least expensive run-of-the-mill shady mechanic), this is the place to go. Oh, also, I remember one occasion where they had done some work on my car, I paid the invoice and left. Two days later, I got a personal call from the owner (Wayne) indicating that he was very sorry that they had made a mistake on my invoice. He pointed out that they had charged me a fee on my car as if it were a 4-wheel drive car instead of a two wheel drive. That mistake added labor hours to my invoice and added about $125 to the overall invoice. He indicated they automatically were reimbursing it but he just wanted to let me know. Now, of course, they shouldn't have done it in the first place--but I would have never known. But the fact that they caught it, called me personally, and reimbursed me all without any doing anything on my part was awesome. It ended up reimbursing me about $125.00. On one of my cars, I had been having ongoing brake problems for years with other mechanics. ATAC was the first mechanic (after about 3 prior mechanics) that was able to get it fixed properly---the first time. Love this place and I highly recommend them!! Ask to talk with Wayne when you go in if for no other reason than to just say "Hi." I promise you will feel comfortable with having your work done here.
