Scott quoted me half the amount safelite, their next door competitor did. He forgot the condensation box on my car cause it was old but it was only 40 dollars extra. We spoke for awhile and my car was ready by end of the conversation. The prices are low, expectations are upfront, and small business owner. I was happy to give star windshield my money.

Had a decent size rock chip on my window. Found Star Windshield after reading reviews. Highly recommend them! Locally owned business and very reasonably priced. Pulled in and they were able to fix my chip in 15 minutes- I can t even tell it was there!

Scott guided me on the best product for me, and not the most expensive or highest profit margin product. His time in business and the quality of his staff make Star Windshield an excellent choice for tint. I'm thrilled with the practical addition to my car as well as the aesthetic.

I brought my car in to hopefully fix a "Star" crack in my windshield that was directly in front of my field of view, and a smaller star crack down by the dash before going on a road trip to Colorado the next day.Scott went to work on the windshield and came back to tell me that unfortunately, the low crack was too low to fix due to how close it was to the raised dash and the glass, but that he fixed the "Star" in my view and that he was not going to charge me because he could not make my glass perfect. I was beyond thankful that he could help me with the main issue so quickly, and that was the obstruction in my view.Coincidentally, on my way home (which was all smiles), I received a call from a good friend who lives in Chandler and he was upset that he just took a piece of debris to his windshield on the 10 freeway while coming home from a doctor appointment. I laughed as he asked If I knew someplace where he could get his windshield replaced. Call it what you will, but that moment was pure joy to me to be able to refer him so quickly to Scott, and Star Glass.Fast forward to today....I was driving down the 202 and took a large rock to the windshield while driving my work truck. I find it funny that rather than get upset, I actually smiled and was happy that it happened. When I got back home, I got on Google to get Scott's number to set an appointment.I see now that they are closed on the weekends, but I know who my first call goes to on Monday.While looking at some of their reviews, I noticed how a couple of people mentioned how they were upset or disappointed as to how they felt after dealing with Star Glass.As a business owner myself, I understand how some days are better than others, and more importantly, you can't make everyone happy all of the time. As much as I try, I am not everyone's cup of tea.What I can say is that I was a nobody when I walked in, and I was treated like family. I am glad to be able to repay their kindness two months later by bringing them my businessThis is my review. Better late than never. =)Service: Auto windshield repair

The customer service and communication is not a strong suit for this company. Upon an initial call to schedule service, the process was not well covered or described. We later felt the need to contact our insurance company for clarification. At that time we agreed to have our insurance company handle the cancellation and subsequent appointment through them. When this company was notified, they felt the need to through a hissy fit and call angrily about a cancellation. There was no ill will from us until this point. This was utterly disrespectful, rude and highly unprofessional. We do not need a speech about how long you've been in business, we do not need being told you should have asked questions. No call like this was needed, period. This is beyond reproach, it was vindictive and harassing. I would strongly advise being careful when dealing with this company, but would suggest to stay away. If you have to cancel for any reason, expect to be harassed about it. Terrible customer service.

Best window company I've used. They don't tear up my cars. They drive all the way to Maricopa. Excellent company. I have a cracked one right now and another with a big chip. Need to call and set up fixes!

Had front windshield replaced. Their installer did not calibrate correctly, had to take vehicle to another shop to have done correctly. Then the outside rubber side gasket came out and the inside bottom foam dam was not installed corectly. Called owner, he basically stated he wasn't going to back his work and wouldn't fix it.Service: Auto windshield replacementService: Auto windshield replacement

Had an appointment to get my car tinted and they told me that i needed to get my tint removed which was going to be extra and more time so i would have to come another day. Went to a different guy and come to find out i had privacy glass. I obviously did not bring my car back to get ripped off.

I called to get a quote for both front and back windshields on my Toyota Camry and with in the first 20 seconds of the phone call whom ever answer was already turning me away.... I said I need a quote for both front and back and he replied "l can't get to you till at least Friday " mind you it's Monday lol And then proceeds to ask me if I still wanted the quote and when I replied yes he put me on hold. The gentleman can ndvk on the line to tell me he was checking prices for me then asked if he could call me right back cuz he had 3 others calling him and he wants to answer them then call me back ..... I thought that was super unprofessional and rude and I definitely will not be having both my windshields replaced there....... It's crazy you think they would want the business of someone having both front and back windshield replaced and outta pocket cuz we weren't using insurance to cover. Wekk back to the drawing board to find a different Company that will value my business.

I was completely satisfied with my entire experience at Star Windshield. I spent a lot of time doing my homework for the best place to bring my new vehicle for a windshield replacement and tinting. From the beginning I was treated with great respect by Rachel, the person answering the phone. She was very well-versed with knowledge beyond what I expected to get from my first encounter. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The location was clean and professional looking. The staff was very friendly and even helped me with my insurance company. The owner himself, (Scott), was even nice enough to stop and greet me while I waited in the reception area. Most owners don't take the time to interact with customers let alone I in such a nice and pleasant way. I am incredibly satisfied, which is not easy to do as I am a stickler for detail. I highly recommend visiting Star Windshield in Chandler for all of your vehicle's window needs.

Incredible staff and service. Same day appointment for both new windshield and tint job on my work truck. With in a hour from my initial call, they got me in the door and out very fast with very little down time. Excellent work and I will be bringing both of my personal vehicles back here to get all of Mt windows tinted. Very happy and will recommend them to all of my friends and family.

I been there a few times for tint and for chip repair. Always professional countable work quality. My Honda tint done in 2004 lasted for 17 years till I sold it.

Rachel in the office is amazing and very helpful. My car looks great! I have a black car with black leather seats. So I had all the windows tinted. Had a huge Crack in my windshield and they worked with my insurance company and I had it replaced in two days. The strip on the windshield is so straight and looks perfect. I have already referred Co workers and friends to Star! Thank you all for the great customer service.

I love the customer service. Soon as I walked in they told me about their experience and the years they have been doing work. That's what sold me to continue to get my car tinted. Didn't take long and even washed the car after. My Honda looks very clean now with the limo tint in the back and 30% in the front. I highly recommend coming to star windshield

Awesome customer service! Rachel is amazing, she was so helpful and professional. It is nice to see that customer service is still a priority for some businesses. I feel very informed and educated on the process of window tint. I highly recommend Star Windshield for all of your auto glass needs.

Amazing service and great work. These folks do quality work at a reasonable price. I was able to find the tint job I purchased cheaper elsewhere, but based on the reviews and word-of-mouth, I chose Star Windshield. Very happy with my choice!

Had a cracked windshield and stopped in. They handled the insurance claim at no cost. I got a ford super crew cab truck tinted for FREE! Not just a cheap tint job but a great one with a lifetime guarantee! The cost for the tint alone would have been easily $200-300. The tint job was a great bonus. Rachel in the office was very helpful and understanding of my needs and didn't try to push anything on me. I met with the owner of the shop and he talked with me about his business and showed me what the tint would look like. All if the staff were great. Not only did I get my windshield fixed but I got a great tint job for free. Highly recommend this place. P.s. the tint job wasn't the cheap stuff! I couldn't be any happier. Seriously, if you need a windshield or tint. Hit this place up.

Recently I had a angel wings on the windshield in front of my seat, they repair it with really good quality and fair price, and in a professional, and fast way, around 20 minutes. There's a very tiny mark, but no crack from view. Strongly recommend!

Very customer oriented service. I went there for window tint and found owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. They offered lifetime warranty on tint. After my car finished tinting the way back the tint on back window fell off.. I called owner and he said drove back they can fix it. They did. And the story has not yet finished.. After a week he driver window tint flaked off.. i called them and schedule on Saturday to fix it. The tinting guy help to fix this and NO CHARGE at all! Also they remind me not to use the window for at least three days and mention because it's winter time, the cold temp will make the tint more difficult to bond with window. So far so good. Great service! Definitely recommended!

I needed to replaced my front windshield and due to previous reviews I decided to take my car in. The lady up front is wonderful and very patient answering all my questions. I got my car in couple days later and they finished the job on time . I loved the experience and will be back with all my glass and tinting needs. I would highly recommend star Windshield if you need your car Windows repaired or replaced plus tinting.
