The service itself was great. Really good people working there. Transparent and responsive. What I was disappointed in was the lack of thoroughness. My vehicle was at another shop and they were very unsure of themselves, so I contacted SSC for a second opinion and paid $160 for a FULL inspection of the car after the shop determined I needed a water pump.SSC confirmed I needed a water pump and timing chain. I ended up taking the car to another shop where he pricing for those services was about $700 less. Upon their free inspection, it was determined the condition of my engine and other parts was far worse than what SSC claimed, and the amount of repairs would've far exceed the value of my car. Basically I would've needed a new engine. Had I stuck with SSC, i would've spent nearly 5k and would've ended up with a blown engine thinking everything was all good. Again, the service itself was fine, but I'm disappointed I spent $160 for a thorough inspection that clearly wasn't thorough and could've put me at risk of driving a car that was not safe for the road.

Great friendly professional service. They give it to you straight and let you know what repairs are really necessary vs. those that can wait a bit and the pros and the cons of it all. This is done without the usual scare tactics or high pressure sales techniques you would find elsewhere (like at many dealerships). I highly recommend them!

The service I received from Chris at SSC auto was great! Had my fuel pump and oil pump replaced by them and have been pleased with the service. Would recommend them to anyone!

Came in for an oil change and coolant flush. Easy to get an appointment. Prices are reasonable and they didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. Friendly and professional. I trust my vehicle with this place and good to support a local shop.

Got a uhaul rental and was charged a surcharge fee for extra gas. I was never given the keys to inspect the truck prior to signing the contract, and the gentleman at the front told me I can return it between a half tank and 3/4.At time of return I was charged 4 gallon fee for returning it empty, because my paperwork said 3/4 of a tank even though I had a half tank to begin with. Even have my gas reciept with me and the gentleman went on to say I was possibly lying about my gas level.Go to a proper uhaul location next time

Great experience so far. Our previous mechanic of 20 years retired, so we were worried about where to go. Decided to try SSC based on the positive online reviews. Our 15 yr old Lexus needed a checkup as it nears 100k, and I really appreciated the quick estimate with clear photos of recommended work. I felt the prices were reasonable, and the car rides much more smoothly. So far, so good. Adam is fantastic. These guys really take care of their customers. The new timing belt, Water pump, and alternator are working great. Car is running smooth again. Thanks for all of you help. This was my first time at SSC Auto Repair. I worked with Adam and Chris and they were great. Fortunately it was only a small issue and my car was returned much sooner than expected. I will definitely return!

Just bought a used car and wanted it checked out. Called on Friday and they got me in on Monday. Did a thorough inspection and sent me a detailed report. Let me know some things that needed addressing. Completed the repairs the same day and I picked up our car later that afternoon. I have had multiple inspections done, oil change, and tire service at SSC. I am very satisfied with my experience, and I will be continuing to take my vehicles to SSC! Very reasonable and honest shop. Very hard to find such great service these days

This team of auto experts did a phenomenal job inspecting my car after I was experiencing jerk motion .They did it as a courtesy and that shows what outstanding professionals they are! I will not hesitate to return to them if I have any more car issues! They appear to be quite competent, thorough and knowledgeable about car mechanics.

Took a vehicle in for transmission issues. SSC called us back shortly after and informed us that they diagnosed the problem, they then checked with manufacturer and found it was still under warranty. They could fix the issue but said we might want to take it to dealership for repairs and save the money. We thought the warranty was expired, thankfully they were honest and informed us otherwise.Service: Auto maintenance

I was very happy with the services provided by SCC! I was buying a car from out-of-state and they were able to give me second opinion about the condition of the car. They provided details information and photos of the interior, engine, everything. They provided me an estimate to fix everything and it was organized by "urgent" and "down the road" fixes, which I really appreciated. They were incredible to work with on the phone and via email. Came in for an alignment on my Yukon.It took longer than expected, but the job done was far beyond expected. They ended up doing the alignment twice after rotating the tires after the first alignment.It tells me they take pride in the repairs done. This was my first time I used SSC to service my vehicle. I got an estimate and thought it was fair. Car was ready on the time promised and my car is running good now. I took my vehicle in for an emissions repair, my vehicle was repaired in a timely manner and to top it off, SSC took my vehicle back in for another emissions test, & informed me of a recall list my vehicle was on. I ve never had a vehicle repair service co. go so far for me. I truly believe SSC gave me exceptional service. All of the people I came in contact with were very professional and pleasant. Love SSC. Been taking 4 cars there for over 10 years now. Adam is awesome. So friendly. Very knowledgeable. Staff is nice. Always great to see George too. Fair. Honest. Have been wonderful to me and my family. Give them a try next time you need some work done on your car.

Adam was terrific! Communicated with us on the diagnosis and repairs needed to our 2015 Ford Explorer having corrosion on some of the terminals that were keeping the computer from communicating with other components in the vehicle.Adam and his team were very professional and honest. Was looking for an honest shop because they're rare I have been tired of "doing it myself". There really isn't anything I have not be able to do, modern computer diagnosis and all. Time is truly a premium and I don't have all day to work on the car like I did at one point in my life. SSC is close to home and had phenomenal reviews so I decided to give them a trial run. SSC Auto Repair could quite possible be the best service provider on the planet. Adam, the owner, was super helpful and knowledgeable in explaining what was wrong with my car. They fixed my car, at a price that I felt was better than fair, and now my car runs better than it did when I first got it. SSC is trustworthy, honest, fair, kind, competent, and they deliver amazing work. I am now customer for life and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I took my wife's 2002 Ford explorer to SSC because the front passenger seat was stuck in the forward position. It cost me $65 for them to diagnose the problem. I was later informed that the seat needed another seat track assembly. Adam found a couple in different parts of the country, neither one was the right one. So they could not fix it. Adam was nice to work with and I was out just the $65. I went on next door and found a mechanic that works out of his home. He took the seat apart from the floor board and used a pair of vise grips to free up the section that was jammed. The seat went back and forth like it is suppose to. Cost $60 much better than the $700 plus that I was quoted. Thank you.Service: General repairs & maintenance
