I had been experiencing tire pressure problems and decided to take my car to Pep Boys. They quickly noticed that there was a nail lodged in my tire. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment and had my tire repaired in just under 90 minutes!! Larry, who helped me, was very kind and accommodating, and the technicians were prompt in identifying and resolving the issue. The customer service was exceptional, and I am extremely grateful for the service I received. Thank you so much!!

I love the Pep Boys at 2160 N Alma School Rd in Chandler! I bring my work fleet here as well as my personal cars. All of the people here listen and treat me with kindness and respect. Their top-notch technicians know how to find what exactly needs to be taken care of and only that. I was told by another automotive shop in the Phoenix area that my personal car needed lower control arms because they were cracking and shocks/struts. Fidel, the Manager, showed me pictures that contradicted the other shop. I did need a new starter but the work was done quickly and I was able to pick my car up the next day. Honest, hard-working people here!!

My first visit to Pep Boys Alma School and Warner was in April 2023. I was very impressed with the service provided by DeAngelo and staff. So when my vehicle required attention again the only place I considered was Pep Boys. My 2nd visit was almost exactly one year after my first visit. DeAngelo had since earned a well-deserved promotion and became a regional manager, who visits locations throughout the state. Through sheer luck, he happened to be back at the Alma School location on the day of my return visit. He remembered me and personally attended to my vehicle s needs and provided exceptional service just like the first time. This location definitely prioritizes outstanding customer service over charging for everything they can get away with, unlike most other shops. Very happy to have this Pep Boys a short drive away.

I took my 2012 Azera in to Pep Boys for servicing of the A/C, radiator coolant and battery check. The maintenance was extremely thorough and completed in as timely a manner as possible. In addition to the items requested for servicing, the technician discovered another item to be serviced which I had forgotten about over time and was very much needed. Good catch. I will continue to use Pep Boys for my vehicle maintenance needs.

The staff at Pepboys was quite helpful in suggesting the best services for my vehicle within my budget. After the initial consultation, the team at Pepboys updated me on their findings and informed me that based on their findings, some of the services that I was requesting but could not afford would be covered under their further investigation. What really impressed me was when I came in to pay for my services, the team let me know that because I recently purchased my vehicle, the dealership should cover my major repair which saved me a couple hundred dollars and prevented my vehicle from breaking down costing me even more money.The team's customer care and ability to not only work with but to provide me the best options in terms of service, cost, and additional options is the reason for their excellent rating.

I went over there to fill up a Lyft's form, so I could drive for Lyft, the ride share company, I was there 15 minutes before closing and they took me in, the staff there were very friendly and polite. I would recommend this Pep Boys location to everyone. You deserve the 5 stars guys, thanks a lot for your help

My car was hit by some debris on the highway and caused several lights to pop up on my dash. I was nervous to take my car somewhere and get taken advantage of. But very luckily I ended up in great hands!! Fidel was honest, efficient, and got me taken care of for the fraction it would have cost me at the dealership. I am so grateful and I recommend everyone to come here for your car issues. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!

Zero stars for this location. I ordered tires and had them shipped to this location. Made an appointment but when I showed up, the guy at the desk told me his entire staff had to leave because of an emergency and wouldn't be back for a week. I booked an appointment for 2 weeks later and made sure the tires I ordered were shipped to that location. When I arrived they told me they weren't and it would be a few days until they got them in. I went to Walmart. They performed my service same day and I saved a ton of money. Tires are great today no thanks to Pep boys

Fidel took care of my car and educated me in the process. I thought i needed an alternator and I was the alternator fuse. Fidel saved me a couple hundred dollars. With inflation and all, I appreciate his honesty. I will recommend Alma School Pep Boys location to anyone.

Pep Boys on Alma School & Warner is my only choice for my automotive repairs & service. Joe, D'Angelo, Doug, Josh & Karl do excellent work each time my car is serviced there. Last week, I had all fluids changed and brakes fixed, and they did everything required right. I am 100% satisfied. Thanks guys and Happy Holidays.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. I come in with my veterans hat on and I'm treated with the utmost respect for my service really touched me. I'm going through tough times right now and this kind of customer service is the reason why I go to this place over at jiffy lube the people at pepboys know how to treat you with dignity, respect and cherish you as a customer. I will come back here for all of my maintenance needs. They have a customer for life with me.

Larry..Kristen and Michael were great...They helped my wife and I out of a jamm with a flat tire..quick fast and great customer service...I would definitely refer this spot to anybody in AZ HANDS DOWN!!

I went to the Chandler Az location on Alma school. They are amazing. They quoted me a price. Offered a coupon for my oil change and repaired my air conditioning They didn t lie at all. They also sent me a text message with a print out of everything they checked. They went above and beyond. Thank you. Fidel was really nice and the girl up front too. Didn t catch her name. Really trustworthy Best place yet.

Kinda bummed to give these guys a 3-star. They rotated My tires and all the tires are low on air. I guess it costs extra to check the air and you have to ask them to do it. I also had to ask them to reprogram the TPMS . As when you move a tire from front to back. You have to tell the car this. They guys were nice. But next oil change I will go somewhere that will check all the fluids, top off the windshield cleaner, make sure the tires have the proper air pressure, and check the air filters. I thought they did this but they don't. Bummer. Oh, and there was a shop fee of $43. I asked what that was for. Was told it is to clean up after the oil change....hmmm...sounds like a pep boy tax to me...

Went to this location to get a Diagnostic done and left my car at 9am. The car was done at 5pm. I spoke to the lead tech and he advised me that the test wasn't completed due to there being zero oil on the dip stick. I paid just to get my keys back. Jessie who works up front advised me that the diagnostic was done and they just note it on a "courtesy inspection" paper .... I asked about codes and he said there was no codes that came on and if there was then they would note it on the courtesy paper. Lol. I paid 110 just to hear what I already knew, that my starter, battery and alternator are good. I advised them, I replaced them all... After I paid, I checked my dipstick and there was oil on it. I went back and asked Jessie to come to my car and note that there is oil on the dip stick, and that I was maybe a half quart low. And he was rude and told me I already paid and he wouldn't do that. I then asked if another tech could check my oil and he said 'i am not having any of my techs deal with you' and he went back into the building and ignored me after. I basically paid for a visual testing and to be told false info on my oil. It stated on the paper "advised to not drive due to no oil".... But I had oil and the dude Jessie closed the bay doors and front door at 530 when they clearly close at 630. Rude service. Do not go to this location! Oh and when I was hearing Jessie talk, he was avoiding customers question. Such as one customer "so is my engine light off" and he responded "it should be, I would assume it is, I think" lol! Who is this guy!

These guys just saved my date night!Woke up on Fourth of July with a flat tire and these guys were open when most shops were closed. My date lives in Fountain Hills, so there was no way I was getting there on my spare. Very affordable patch to my tire and they helped me install it back on my car and now I don't have to cancel on my date and we get to go see some fireworks!Thanks Pep Boys crew, I hope the owner is giving these guys and gals some nice holiday pay for working on the Fourth!

Took my vehicle for service today 6/8/23 thinking I had an appointment (I called the night before) the gentleman up front (Josue) was very professional & advise me that even though there was no appointment for me, he will still take my car in. Josue even offered me a bottle water, and a Lyft home. He explain and prioritized what I really needed. Will keep bringing my vehicle back for service.
