The kind service I received here was above and beyond the best I have ever gotten at an automotive repair facility. In fact it was probably the best service I have gotten anywhere. I will be back because of this. Coming here is an outstanding experience from beginning to end and you never feel lied to in the process. They don t pressure you to get unneeded services like everywhere else does and they literally treat you like a friend or family member.

I brought in a vehicle that I was considering buying to make sure there were no hidden issues.The inspection cost was a little lower than some other shops in the area that I got quotes from, and they provided a breakdown of all their findings with clear pictures of the issues along with a quote to fix and a recommendation from them that it was an overall good car to buy.With this information, I was able to negotiate a better price than what the seller offered just based on the Carfax report alone.I recommend Christian Brothers to check out a potential car purchase for anyone who is buying a used car!

I was hesitant about posting this but I feel the need to speak up in case anyone else has a similar experience.I ve noticed that Christian brothers has been on a swift decline in service quality since around 2022. This seems to be more widespread now, but is worse at certain locations. This location has to be the worst experience I ve ever had at a CBA.I made my appointment well ahead of time earlier in the week and brought my car in this morning as scheduled. All I was having done was a brake system inspection as I only had one issue I was running into with the car that needed to be looked at. There was no actual repair set to be done, just the inspection. At all other locations I ve been to, they ve asked if I m staying or just dropping off, so I found it odd that this one didn t ask and just forced me to drop it off with no ETA on when it would be done. The guy that checked me in was really pushy on trying to get me to spend $200 on an unnecessary additional inspection, but all he said about the ETA was that the store closes at 6pm and they should have it ready by then. Keep in mind I was dropping it off before 9am. There is no reason at all it should take 8 hours to do one simple, system specific inspection. That is absurd. It does get worse though.I have LoJack and an AirTag installed on my car so I am able to see an exact location of where it is at all times. I got a notification that there was movement shortly after I dropped it off so I assumed it was being moved into the bay for inspection. What actually happened was that they moved it into the LA Fitness parking lot across the street. I thought this was odd so I called and asked the status and was told by a worker that they would have an answer for me on an estimate and next steps by 12-1pm that afternoon. Well, 1pm rolls around and I had heard nothing, so I called the store to see what was going on. Keep in mind, my LoJack/Airtag was still showing it was sitting out in the LA fitness parking lot. I m confused as to why they cared enough to move my car completely out of their business parking lot in the first place as it was parked correctly and wasn t obstructing anything or anyone.I proceeded to call the store again and the pushy guy who checked me in answered the phone as I could tell by the voice. When I asked about the status of the car he said that it was currently in the bay for inspection . The AirTag is still showing it s in the other parking lot and this is in real time, so I knew he was lying. When I said I wanted to cancel he didn t give me any gruff, but tried to get off the phone real quick as I was asking about how long it would take to be ready if I m canceling the whole inspection. He said to give them about 30 minutes to get it back out of the bay. It wasn t even in the bay at all, so again he was lying. This was confirmed when I got there and another technician was checking me out and giving me back my keys. He checked on the status and sure enough he said oh they hadn t even started on it yet . So I was lied to a total of THREE times about anything being done, and all it took was one honest worker there to confirm that. When he goes to pick up the car he says that it s in their overflow lot which is literally just the LA Fitness parking lot.They couldn t be bothered to do any actual work on the car but found the time to move it into a completely different lot to bake out in the sun. Not only that, but it took me calling them several times to get any updates and each time I was lied to. Had I not canceled the inspection, I guarantee it wouldn t have been done or they would have waited until the end of the day and tried to keep the car. I understand that they can get busy, but this is on another level. I made an appointment for a reason and they didn t do ANYTHING. If they are this dishonest with a simple inspection, I don t wanna find o it what other shady stuff they will pull. I will gladly go to the dealership or another car care shop and avoid this CBA, and all others, in the future.

These guys are great. We purchased a car through Driveway and had seven days to decide if we were going to keep it or not. They have a pre-purchase inspection for a very good price that takes a look at everything and gives you a full work up on things you could get done, things you should think about getting done, and things you for sure should get done. I go to them anytime I want an honest answer. We ve gone to them before with issues that other mechanic shops have told us we need to do and that they ve told us is not necessary. That means a lot in my book.

Made an appointment here as I'm preparing to drive across country. was instructed to bring my car by, leave it all day, and I would not need to leave it overnight. Great, that works for me. Show up on time and am informed that they're too busy today, they can only diagnose it today and I'll have to bring it back another day to get fixed. HUH? too busy? But that's why I made an appointment. ME- Can I at least get my oil changed like I had planned? CB-Sure, leave the car here and come pick it up at the end of the day. ME- It's only 9am, you need all day for an oil change? CB- Yeah we're busy. ME- What about my appointment? CB- That was for something different.Now I'm left scrambling looking to get work done before I leave town. Thanks for wasting my time.Edit: I never asked for a guarantee, I'm well aware plenty of repairs take more than a day. But there are also plenty of repairs that can be diagnosed and fixed in a day.

I ve serviced my car here a few times now in the 2 years I ve been in AZ. I usually take my car to family friends because of my own care service horror stories. Most see a single female with a red Mustang and dollar signs pop out of their head, especially when they see I take good care of my car. I ll never forget a shop owner once quoted me $3,000 for a whole new engine replacement when my car was only 3 years old after 2 mins of looking under my hood. Understandably, I now have no problem with being direct and challenge mechanics with their diagnosis, dollar value for each service, and have them walk me through the why of each recommendation while I cross reference with my own credible resources.Christian Brothers have been truly class acts. They are honest, value integrity, go above and beyond to serve their customers, and make your experience seamless. Dean is always polite, upbeat, and pleasant to talk to. Hudson always has a smile on his face and has a talent/love for connecting with people. Andrew keeps a cool head and warm heart in any situation. Will acts as a true advisor and helps you plan out your next visit while being economically sensitive and an advocate for your car s health. Birds of a feather flock together, so I m confident that the other team members I haven t worked with yet all bring something special to the table too. I also LOVE that the company isn t afraid to live out their core values.They have truly thought of every detail from offering coffee and tea to shuttle services with personable drivers, comfortable seating, stellar texting service, and detailed reports of your car s diagnosis with reference pictures for a customer to make a decision based on facts, not emotions. I appreciate that they walk you through the why of each recommendation and dollar value.Thank you Christian Brothers for taking care of my car, my finances, my peace of mind, and our community. You are a cut above!

BEST, BEST, BEST AUTO repair that I have experienced in over 50 years! IF you are not particularly savvy with auto mechanics and are concerned about being ripped off, please go to Christian Brothers. They are exceptionally organized as evidenced by consistent communication between the repair specialist and the customer via text message. Everything that was done to my car was very carefully itemized and explained in the text. The technician (CJ) described what he saw and took pictures so I could also see what he was looking at. This repair shop actually tells you that you do NOT need certain services yet and justify by presenting photos with a detailed explanation. I have a Mercedes and the Christian Brothers techs performed a lot of extensive work. The cost was at least half of what I would pay at a Mercedes dealership. Thank you TJ and CJ!

After I left my van for service, I was taken home promptly in the provided shuttle. Later that day, I received a detailed analysis of recommended services. It reassured me of what was needed for the car. Communication was great and the cost was reasonable. All the folks I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Thanks, Christian Brothers!

The guy on the phone refused to tell me what the shop's hourly labor rate is. Every single shop has an hourly labor rate. It does not vary based on the job. Most shops in the valley are between $160-$165/hr. Some more and some less. Most shops will tell you exactly what their labor rate is if you call and ask. If you want people to do business with you, be transparent and honest. The labor rate does not vary. If you do water pumps, struts, control arms, etc...you charge for parts and labor. Every shop uses a labor guide to tell them how many labor hours should be charged for any given job. And every shop has a labor rate, how many dollars/hour they charge for ALL those repair services. To say "it varies" is to lie. It is to hide information you don't want to disclose, because you don't want to get shopped. Customers have a right to know what your labor rate is. I called 10 shops all around the valley this morning. Only 2 shops failed to disclose their rate, or tried to tell me it varies. Everyone else told me what their labor rate was without any issue at all. Sun Devil Auto, Greulichs, Midas, Brake Masters, Brakes Plus, Desert Car Care, Meineke, and Pep Boys all told me what their rates were. Ranging from $158/labor hour to $205/hr. Most at $165ish. Only Spencer Auto Repair and this Christian Brothers location gave me spin and runaround when I asked the same question.

Diagnostics could not identify any problems with the wiring or sensors or relays. The car was running fine without any tech intervention. But they did try to identify a problem from the code that was issued. But the code and problem cleared up on it's own.

Pretty much everything about Christian brothers is first class. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. Even the waiting room may be one of the nicest I ve ever seen at a car repair facility.I needed to get my car checked out for a cross country drive. In approximately one hour, they completed the inspection and provided me with an easy to understand report showing the four dozen or so items they inspected. The report broke the items down into three categories showing the level of urgency to correct any issues detected. They reported my car had no urgent issues and there was no pressure to get any of the non-urgent issues addressed. In short, they did not try to sell me something I may not need. I left feeling like I was treated fairly. As with any car repair facility, the most important thing is I feel I can TRUST Christian Brothers and would be more than happy to bring my car there again for service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

Solid team at the Ocotillo location, efficient repair and car was completed on schedule, as promised. Military discount for veterans is offered, which is much appreciated! Highly recommend for car repairs or tune-up.1/4/2020Another great experience this week at Christian Brothers.My 2013 Genesis sedan needed an alternator and serpentine belt. As usual, CB quote was 50% less than the dealership plus a better warranty on the parts and labor (2yr/24 mos).Military discount applied, that saved another 10%.Tony and Mike run the place, and it's a top notch shop!I recommend them to everyone.Get a quote from your dealership, then call CB.

I like that they take photos and give detail reports of your car. I just trust them more than the dealerships. After the Honda dealership found all these issues, I had them check it out to find none of those issues on my car. Saved me lots. Thanks.

It s hard to find good honest mechanics. This place is definitely one! This is my 3rd time taking my car there. I never felt pressured to do anything. They did a thorough inspection. Gave me recommendations on what is needed and potential issues that they see arising and gave me cost estimates to repair. They answered all my questions. I love they text updates and can see the recommendations. Never once felt i was being take advantage of or pushed to do something. One visit there was miscommunication but they made it right. Everyone i have dealt with are very nice and pleasant. They answered my billion questions I had to make sure i keep my car up and running for many years to come.

Horrible do not go there. I dropped off my car for diagnostics after the car had to be jump started. The battery was replaced two times prior the second time was a warranty replacement after it failed within six months. The warranty covered one replacement within five years for free. Christian Brothers said a diagnostic would cost $40 to perform electrical check for the battery, alternator, and other. They found that the battery was bad and a replacement would cost $205 plus $40 for terminal corrosion protection. I chose not to get the battery replaced by Christian Brothers. I picked up my car and purchased a battery from Costco for $109 and installed it myself. The Christian Brothers batteries do not last and two batteries failed within six months.Service: Battery

We take all 3 of our cars to Christian Brothers and have had great experiences every time. I love the convenience of online scheduling. The communication via email and text is great as well - we get a complete inspection report (including pictures) along with costs associated with any suggested repairs. And I know I can call to talk with someone if further info is needed on more extensive repairs before committing to anything. We'll continue to take our cars here and would highly recommend to others!Service: Oil change

Christian Brothers treat you like family. Everyone is friendly everyone is considerate of your time. Women they explain things to you how you would understand them. They ask you if you have any questions and if there s anything else they can do for you how many places will just let you come in Your tires. I have been in Arizona for eight years and these mechanics are top notch. PS they re all happy to work where they work that makes a big difference in the outcome of your repairs so if you re looking for a place to have your car repaired. This is the place to go. Took our BMW in for air condition repair paying $1,500 for the repair and diagnostic. We had our car back for 3 days maybe drove 2 miles and it wouldn t start and had a high pitch shrill noice which was never there before. Why didn t the first diagnostic show something then? Took it back only to be told it wasn t their fault. They also said there are 40 cars ahead of you. After much discussion they agreed to look at it that day. $2,200 later we got our car back again paying for what we feel was something they caused. Customer beware! A little shady! Took our VW Beetle here for a coolant leak. Quote was $2500. Water pump, lower hose, power flush. Felt that was very high. Took it to another reputable shop. Paid $1300 and that included an oil change, too. It is unfathomable thatChristian Bros wanted so much for this job. The quote was fair and everyone was very courteous and helpful. Even plugged my tire for free along with a motor mount replacement, and provided courier services to drop me off and pick me up from home. Will use again. :)

Great shop, always busy so be sure to call ahead and setup an appointment to ensure a smooth transaction. They also offer shuttle service. i had an one hour appt so i ended up waiting there as it is a simple oil change. They provided the inspection report to let you know what else might need attention for your car which is very helpful. Since they are busy, you will have to schedule another appointment to take care of the additional items.Thank you for the outstanding car service and customer service!Service: Oil change

I've visited 2 locations of Christian Brothers recently, and the customer service was and is always remarkable & OUTSTANDING!They'll inspect your vehicle from front to back, sends you a detail report first, call or text before starting any repairs. I LOVE this company!!!
