Purchased a tool for a repair, did not sufficiently work. Returned to the store, within 1 hour of my buying, to exchange the tool and was told by the parts manager Chris they were not able to refund using my rewards account (AutoZone has e-receipts which I use with every purchase). Mesa stores seem competent to know how to operate their systems. I have not experienced such rudeness before. Perhaps Chris needs more training so he can be as great as other AutoZone employees.

Came in for a diagnosis test early, Chris, and Mario were well prepared and helped me with my issue right away. They were very kind and knowledgeable about what my issue was. Great customer can go a long way. I appreciate you guys thank you.

This was the best experience I have ever had with Autozone! Jessie H. was super attentive and listened to all of my concerns. After hearing me out he was able to assist me and get me the correct products. This has not been my experience the past. Super grateful for him making at least one thing easy for me today!

I go to the store to look for a part I saw they said they had online and to also return a part. When I get to return the part I didn't want I had forgotten my card and they said they couldn't do absolutely anything for me, and when I ask about the part I saw online they told me they didn't have it. I was very upset as this has happened many times before. It is beyond me why the parts online that say are in store are not. It was a very frustrating experience.

While traveling far from home l found myself recently needing a replacement part.I found the geography of this store almost confusing. As if the AutoZone presence mixed hodge podged in with the pep boys repair bays was a drunken afterthought.After an unsuccessful search at another store l was directed to this store.Naturally the entire process was full of quirky problems, after failing to provide a compatible part, l was soon pawned off to another employee who seemed to excel at difficult problem solving.In no time we had the correct part.I can't emphasize how appreciative I am to have them simply go the extra mile and see this thru and secure the parts that I needed Vs. just giving up because it started to get difficult . Today I was fortunate enough to be exposed to true customer service. What a refreshing treat in the post pandemic world to see someone who actually thrived on helping others Vs. just hanging out to collect a check.I'd highly recommend visiting this store when looking for quality customer service, additionally as a bonus, they also have auto parts.

I came here to get my headlight replaced and my car ended in having to be towed away.I asked if the gentleman behind the counter if he could replace my headlight if I bought one - something routine that i have done at a thousand other AutoZones in my life. As I sat in my car i could tell the gentleman was struggling. All of a sudden Something under my car exploded. WHAT? The gentleman was knocking around under my hood and the coolant tube blew up and steam and coolant came pouring out under my hood.Two additional men came out to look at what had happened but did not bother to introduce themselves to me. I was told by the original gentleman that it was time to tow my car.I sat and cried in the parking lot.I missed school and work, I had to be towed, and rent a car over night. All I wanted was a headlight? Instead I payed over $400 just to drive my car again.Under no circumstances should these people touch your car.Attached below is the piece that the employee broke under my hood.

Great service. The guy looked up my last battery to check my warranty coverage. It was out of date by a couple of months but it was very nice of him to make sure and then he replaced the battery for me.

So I go in here and tell them I need a certain caliper. Turns out it was the wrong one so that was my bad. I go back to exchange it and bring my old core back in for my money back. They didn't have the one I needed so I got a refund on the new one and core fee. So I go to another one 20 min down the road. I tell them all my car details this time they chose the caliper I needed. Thought I was good to go. But then they told me I needed to pay a $35 core fee. I say no, the other place already took my core so I shouldn't have to pay the fee again. Had the return receipt in hand. Manager gets involved. He tells me I have to drive 20 min back,pick up the old core and bring it back to him. I refused since I didn't do anything wrong so I shouldn't have to waste over an hour of my time to do that. 35 min later, whole issue gets resolved. Next day, I go to install new caliper and low and behold, they gave me the wrong one! Halfway installed until I realized they gave me passenger side, not driver side. Had to remove from car and drive 20 min back to exchange it. Luckily the exchange went smooth and I got the right one. It as a fiasco. The employees there should know abut cars more. Two of them had me look on their screens asked me if any of the calipers on the screen were the right ones. I mean, shouldn't they know these things?

First off, Preston isn t the best at this location. I went to get oil and under the oil I got, it said there was a deal for $41.99 for the oil and oil filter, yes I even looked at the fine print and saw it was with a specific filter. One guy did help me, but for some reason, the deal didn t show up, Preston said he would override and give me a discount to reflect the price that is being displayed, but when it came to, he completely ignored the worker that was helping me and was obnoxious and decided to help other people. Don t get me wrong, I get customers are important, but if you say you re going to do something, don t ignore your employees and make them fend for themselves and don t display a sale if you re not going to honor it. Will not be coming back to this location. The worker that helped me did give me a 10% discount, but still wasn t what I should have paid.

The images are for the old location which was on Pecos and McQueen. The new location is best described as (location suicided) due to the fact that they picked a location that shares a parking lot with a car rental business and a Pep boys. Today I literally waited for a parking spot to open up in a lot that holds 88 cars. They have been open less then a year but I'm guessing the nail in the coffin for this location is the O'reilly's opening less then a mile away with plenty of parking. WHY would anyone think this was a good location is any ones guess.

Last week I stopped at Auto Zone to have my battery checked. A younger man checked my battery. He told me that I would have to take my car to the dealership to have my battery replaced because of the process to replace it. I told him I was at their location last year and my battery was replaced by them.I ve been going to Auto Zone for over 20 years and this was the first time I was being declined to have my battery replaced which was under their warranty. I showed him how simple it was and I d replace it myself If I could have the tools. We went inside and he walked away and I heard him talking with his store manager Maria on how he wasn t going to replace it.So my 5 stars I am giving is to Maria. She stepped up and and asked me some questions on the mechanics of the cover of my battery and we went and looked at it and I showed what all it entailed and how simple it was to remove it. She agreed that it seemed simple, grabbed her tools and had my battery replaced in 15 minutes! She was awesome , friendly and definitely showed great customer care for a customer that has been with Auto Zone for over 20 years! Thank you Maria!

Always use it as an emergency place to get a car battery and other car related stuff. Although found, to my huge surprise, that I could buy a good battery $100 cheaper at Costco. My bad. Still 4 stars, because some stuff, selling by them, is rather unique and hard to find in other stores and even on line.

AVERY went above & beyond! Truly an ideal example of customer service!! I got a few different light bulbs for my Fiat which isn t the most common car to find parts for. He was super polite, and gave thorough attention to detail. He listened to the situation I was trying solve with my minor repairs & quickly knew what I needed. Also.. He helped me enroll for their rewards program without being pushy about it. I saw how he maintained work-flow with other customers & employees. I immediately assumed he was the manager, and a good one too LOL. Two thumbs up. One of the best autozone shopping experiences I ve ever had, for sure. I ve been to many I ve them, Bc I enjoy little projects for various updates & such. GOOD WORK, SIR!!!

Customer service was phenomenal! Two gentlemen were working at the store and they helped my family with a battery purchase and a pair of wiper blades. Very friendly and extremely helpful!

The staff here is really top notch. I was in a hurry to make sure I was able to pick my daughter up from school, but my battery was failing. Charles and Maria noticed that the battery in my car was from Auto parts an was one that had a 5 year warranty. They not only ensured I got to pick up my daughter on time but saved me money as well. This place is AWESOME!!!!!

REBATE SCAM ! PENNZOIL and AUTOZONE appear to be participating in a REBATE SCAM. They advertised a $25 rebate for purchasing 2 Pennzoil Platinum 5 gal containers. Autozone advertized the rebate offer on their site so they are complicit. It has been months.PENNZOIL INTENTIONALLY MAKES THE REBATE PROCESS VAGUE AND CUMBERSOME IN THE HOPES THAT YOUR REBATE SUBMITTAL WILL BE REJECTED AND WILL EXPIRE BEFORE YOU CORRECT IT. I have filled out the proper forms and nothing. If you are experiencing the same scam. Do what I am doing and contact the Arizona Attorney General, FTC and BBB. Perhaps a CLASS ACTION is needed.

Give Preston a raise and a gold star! His phone customer service was impeccable! He was extremely patient with my lack of auto-lingo but went over and beyond to locate the part needed and provided solutions to help us out too. I called another AutoZone location nearby and that was not the experience I had with that other rep. Preston should be a regional trainer because as a first point of contact it s nice to get the info you need without having to drive all over town to multiple locations to inquire if the website doesn t give the info either. Thank you for relieving my anxiety lol.

I've been here a few times to get different things & the staff are always friendly. When I let'em know I don't know much about cars, they've always been understating and willing to explain. Last time I went I wound up not even buying anything because what I needed was still under warranty. They even helped me get the car started again in the AZ summer heat to get me on my way! This place is great and I will be back if I ever need anything else.

I went in to replace a defective headlight and the two men working completely ignored me. One said he would be with me and walked off. I am a frequent customer of AutoZone and have never been treated like this.

Real poor Service , especially from the so called Manager Jerry . Besides him being a racist has a real vulgar and non professional way of talking to the customers , if I was able to put negative stars I would . This is not the first time he treats the customers in that way, one of the worst experiences in a Autozone , being treated in that way , poor service overall

Stopped in for a refund on a part that was ordered but no longer needed. The whole computer system was down and had been for 3 days. Unable to get refund until the system is fixed but I understand. The manager was extremely friendly, nice and advised me tp contact her directly in a day or two to see about refund. Store is immaculate. Staff is friendly and courteous.

I needed help with a small project, and the young lady behind the counter was able to help me in seconds. She heard my problem gave me instructions on how to fix it, loaned me the tools I needed and had me back on the road in a minute. I wish I could remember her name to properly thank her. She was the only young lady working that Saturday. I like Autozone overall but having great help makes life easier for customers.

Great place to get stuff for you car. They have a great selection. The staff could help a little better. I needed a bulb for my 3rd break light. I was told by them there isn t one. But it came with one!?!? Then I wanted good Greece for my trailer ball. I was told you can use any of them and I had to ask where it was located in the store. All in all I will still shop there. It gets the job done.

Great customer service. My Dodge had a windshield wiper leak due to the hose being cut and Kelly helped me get it fixed. I didn't know you could buy tubing by the foot. Thank you so much!
