James and his team did some work for me recently and I can t recommend him enough. He worked on my 2022 Triumph Tiger, and was knowledgeable, personable, and provided an outstanding service. Well priced and great communication. Will definitely be seeing him in the future for all my motorcycle maintenance needs.

James absolutely takes pride in his work. And his invoices are fantastic. He adds photos of everything he works on during the process and after the part is changed. He stays in communication when there's any delays and is upfront with everything, no surprises. Haven't had any issues with my Atv and am back to plowing my own driveway. Thank you James for you professionalism and the outstanding work you did.

I recently bought a 2006 Honda VTX1300S that needed some new tires, tune up and new fluids. James did a great job, thorough and responsive to my questions. I hardly recognized my bike it was so clean when I picked it up. It also didn't cost me an arm and leg so I can still ride. I highly recommend Lightning Motor sports.

My experience with James and Lightning Motorsports was second to none. My bike needed both fork seals replaced and a new rear tire during my 6 week tour of northern Canada and Alaska. It can be difficult to find a shop/mechanic to work on your bike while you're far from home, and I'm lucky I met James. He is a very knowledgable mechanic and his services are priced competitively with a quick turnaround time. I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on my bike again and would recommend him to anyone!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Fantastic customer service, fair price, great work.James was able to get my motorcycle back on the road extremely fast, in less than 3 hours from drop off; got my tires and chain replaced. He also inspected my bike to make sure everything was working as it should.He was helpful through the whole process. Excellent communication and extremely professional! James serviced two of our bikes including new tires and oil changes on an extended trip to Alaska and was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. James and lightning Motorsports are great. Good communication throughout having my 2015 klr s tires changed out and oil change and safety inspection for an up coming ride to the lower 48 and back. His service and professionalism is far better than the bike shop s in town and prices are also far more affordable than dealers services. I highly recommend Lightning Motorsports. The service was great and fair. James is honest and really passionate about motorsports. He is also aware of the needs of a traveler. I was on the ride of a lifetime and needed some service after completing the Dalton Highway and he was very accommodating.

Highly recommend James and Lightning Motorsports! I was traveling through the area and needed some parts on a Monday - a tall order, but James came through and I was safely back on the road within an hour or two.Call ahead to confirm your parts are in stock, if not, give him some time to order the right ones; Alaska is called the Last Frontier for a reason.

Out of town and 4,000 miles away from home. Mondays the Dealerships are closed. James was all business and he was willing to go out of his way to take care of a traveler. James was super helpful in servicing our motorcycles before and after our trip to Prudhoe Bay. He confirmed our appointment a few days before, phoned and texted updates on his progress, and found and fixed small issues we hadn t anticipated. His invoice was very reasonable. The service James provide on my KingQuad was outstanding from start to finish. James picked up the ATV from my house, performed the tune up, and returned the vehicle in a timely manner. When the service was complete James provided pictures of the service items he performed (on the receipt) and talked me through the tasks as well over the phone. James Yogi did an amazing job turning a 2005 Yamaha grizzly 660 into a reliable machine. If your looking for a place that works on anything from newer Atv s all the way as old as 26 year old arctic cats, this is the place to go! James does dealer quality work at 1/2 the cost! while maintaining quality and professionalism. Highly recommend. This gentleman was able to fix my 454 bear cat carb, choke, and brake. Great option for anything you need. Had him do engine oil, brakes and fluid, coolant, air filter and chain. Did great work on my 750 GSXR with great pricing. Invoice shows before and after photos to prove work completed and done right.
