Very down to earth, friendly, and very understanding. Always kept me updated and let me know immediately if they needed to verify something. They re also the ONLY shop I called that was willing to work on my 1997 Tacoma. Any other shop rejected me because it was too old or just suggested to get rid of my truck.Sent it to the shop on 19Jan23 and was done on 28Feb23. Granted that time frame was pretty long but, I was grateful they took on the job. Plus I was PCSing around that time so they got it done.So very grateful to this shop for having my Poseidon (Tacoma) up and running.

Had an appointment on 5/1/19 for transmission service and anything else that might pose a problem before driving the Alaskan hwy. Mr. Sauce immediately pointed out during inspection that the lower ball joints on my suv would need to be replaced. I m somewhat car illiterate, but I knew that would at least take anywhere from 2-3 hrs (depending on how many is needed to be replaced) that s fine, as I really wasn t in a rush (I will admit I was somewhat antsy- needed to bring family memeber lunch around noontime). Service was great, and wife and husband were super friendly. My reason for rating 2/5 stars: I know after a transmission inspection the car is taken for a mini test drive. No biggie. But I wasn t told that Mr. Sause would be stopping by Genes Auto for a replacement key to a truck since he misplaced his other ones...... I m a pretty chill person. A) wasn t cool at all B) I was only told that it was being test-driven, no mention of making pit stops in my vehicle elsewhere. If I would ve heard that tidbit I would ve immediately said no. You misplaced your keys on your own time, so you should find your keys and do whatever else is necessary to get them back on your own time, in your own vehicle. Period. Even left the receipt right on the passenger seat of my car, and had to get out and personally give it back to him. This was so unprofessional plus you could ve became a liability had anything happened to you during the short trip, and I m glad nothing happened to him, because drivers up here can be a little wild. I know he means well, I can tell from his demeanor but dude- you own a business get it together. I personally wouldn t go there myself anymore simply cause the trust system is broken. If you are in need of a transmission inspection and you want it done right (and for a decent price at least in my own opinion), minus that negative mentioned above, you are in good hands.

The employees here will tailgate and scream at you. Careful on the roads. Owner response; I was tailgated from Peger to Whorrell by a young man in small black car that pulled into your shop an hour before opening, so I believe it was an employee going to work. If you're certain this person isn't at all connected to your shop I will take down this review.
