I have been here multiple times with company and personal vehicles. Employees and the boss are always so friendly and helpful. They will save you money when they can as well. They won't put something on your vehicle that's not needed unless you ask for it. I went to have new brakes and rotors on a truck and they talked me out of it because my stuff was already quite new. Exceptional service every time.

Joseph, the Assistant Mgr, took my vehicle in at a moments notice. He trouble shot the problem with my heater, explained what was happening every step of the way, got the part delivered, had it installed and the cost was very reasonable!! This was excellent service at its highest form! I would recommend Mobile 1 Lube Express to anyone! Thanks again, Joseph for getting my heater working the day before our temperature was to drop to -25 below!!!!Nancy H

This place is wonderful. I dropped my daughter at the University and was unable to take care of some things that needed attending to before I left, namely getting the coolant up to snuff for the cold and fixing an unknown heater problem. I called several shops and was either told they wouldn't work on the car because it was too old (1998 Mercedes C230) or they quoted some rediculous prices just to diagnose the problem. Also they all had at least a 2 or more week wait just to look at the car. After much frustration I called Mobil 1 and they not only said they could address the coolant issue but could have my daughter drop it off the same day. At the time I didn't say anything about having the heater issue addressed as the quoted prices from other places for dealing with likely culprits was ludicrous. I received a call back a couple of hours after they got the car and noticed that the heater was not working properly. The mechanic said that the likely issue was a relatively fairly simple issue (as far as Mercedes issues go) and that they could fix it for literally a small fraction of the cost that other shops quoted. The heater problem was indeed what he diagnosed and true to his word they did the work for the quoted price. There was another couple of issues that needed address (dead cell in battery and a new thermostat as well as some dry rotted tires). A new set of all weather tires, new battery, new thermostat and the heater issue fixed all came to less than 1400.00. That was about half of what other shops quoted my just to address the heater and coolant issue without a new set of tires and battery. When you find an honest mechanic that does quality work for a reasonable cost that is a number you should have on speed dial. As long as my daughter is in Fairbanks I have no more worries about where to take her car if issues arise. I am so thankful to have discovered these folks and greatly appreciate everything they did for us.

When in for a very simple inspection of coolant entires and they wanted to sell me everything but when I told him. That's not what I was interested in. I needed. My tires looked at, they told me to leave and not come back.. I don't know who's running this place. But we can do better fairbanks.

We needed maintenance on a tire for our vehicle, and the employees went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They diligently worked beyond normal business hours to complete the job. Mr. Chris informed us of suspension issues to get ahead of, and to seek additional maintenance for the approaching winter. What began as a tire-fix, became a saving grace. They replaced a tie rod that was on its last few threads, aligned the vehicle's steering, and assessed the suspension. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Was told 1 hour, no prob. 2 hours later go up to check. Just filling it up with oil will be done shortly 1 more hour goes by, go up to check again. Some oil was spilled in the engine bay just getting it cleaned up over 3 hours later finally got it back and it s in worse shape than when I brought it in.

They close at 6. You come in at 5. No cars in the the bays. No customers in the building. The guy behind the counter calls me boss. Tells me, he not taking anymore cars. I sat outside. 5:35 they shut the lights. I hope the owner knows this

Polite, considerate service manager and mechanics. The mechaic doing the oil chage spotted a slow leak from a differential seal thar will need attention soon.

Don't bring your vehicle to this place. I brought this same set of tires to this place for the last three years and this year they are telling me they can't install them. They called the last mechanics shady and are trying to get me to purchase new tires from them. Do not bring your vehicle to this business.Service: TiresService: Tires

We wanted our leaking tire checked and hopefully repaired. Felt like it was a Goldilocks and the Three Bears story day. The first place was too busy, the second didn't want to repair the leak but offered to sell us four tires, and fortunately the third worked out just right. I called Simard's wondering if and when they could look at it. I believe it was Mike who told me they now own Mobile 1 Lube Express in Fairbanks, too, and he said that'd be the quickest (and closest tobour location) shop to check out our tire issue. We drove over, a very polite young man said he couldn't promise to fix it but he'd look. A few minutes later, he showed a small wood screw which was the culprit, and said he could fix it. Maybe 15 minutes later we were on the road again, and of course we hope we'll all live happily ever after.BTW, very clean and spacious waiting area with a couch, chairs, tables and a work/study area. And fresh popcorn for snacking.

I would NOT recommend Mobile 1 at 903 Old Steese Hwy, Fairbanks, AK 99701.The manager Harry became very hostile towards me because he felt it wasn't his job to call me when they finished working on my car. When I heard him agree to call another customer when her car was done. Well they ended up closing and kept my car overnight even though it was done. Leaving me without my house keys and my other personal belongings. Then when I confronted him on his behavior over the phone he stated he wasn't going to argue with me told me to pick up my car and never go back there again and hung up on me. Simply because I asked how is a person supposed to know if their car is done. Well I showed up and I tried to get a discount for all the trouble they caused me including not being able to go to work and he told me he gives discounts but to be petty he wouldn't give one to me. I had gone to them on and off for three years and I never had this problem when Eric from Anchorage worked the front desk. Plus I specifically told him I need my car done before you guys close because this this is my only vehicle to get to work and do everything in. He said ok. Then closed the shop. If he leaves I would recommend because they actually do a great job and they take first come first serve.

After my brother told me about great service he had, I went there to get a little work done; I was blown away by the expediency of the crew and the awesome price they gave me. 5 stars all the way!!! I'll certainly be back.

I have a lot to say about this place and it s all good. They helped me find a solution to a problem even though it wound up not making them any money. Hard to find people who do the right thing just because it s the right thing. As for other commenters complaining about short staff and wait times, obviously they do not run a business in a COVID altered economy. Everyone was polite, courteous and they helped me in order . Two thumbs up for this shop and their great employees.

My wife and I bring our vehicles here. They have never tried to upsell us or try to get us to buy things that are not bad. They are exceptionally respectful of my wife. Biggest complaintment I can give them is they treat my wife with respect and they don't try to take advantage of a woman.

I came in for what I thought would be a quick fix, it ended up being a bit more that I was counting on. But Pete was extremely accommodating and fit me in and got my truck back up and running in no time.I would most definitely recommend Mobil 1.
