My family was visiting Fairbanks for a week. I'm a tig welder back home in Pennsylvania. I found central welding on our last day here. I checked out the website and read the reviews and said I need to check these guys out. I was not disappointed! The store is very nicely stocked with supplies and machines and consumables. Anything one could want for any kind of welding. The guys were awesome!!! One of the reviews I said" it was like talking with a family member". It certainly was. They showed me every inch of that store ,explained everything about the company and the welding industry in the area it was awesome. I was there for an hour and a half. I didn't want to leave. If I'm every in Fairbanks again I am definitely stopping by and joining in on one of their classes. Thanks guys for one of my highlights of my trip to Alaska!

Awesome shop. Knowledgeable staff. Kids took a welding class held by central welding supply. They brought in a number of volunteer instructors who were incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Incredibly hands on. Thanks Roy, Adam, Jeff and Blue.

The staff was incredibly helpful with a plasma cutter that I didn't even purchase from them. They inspected the machine and tested it for me. Then, the staff set it up for me and gave me some pointers when using it.They had the consumables in stock, along with a handful of other parts I needed.This is my new supply store.

I highly recommend Central Welding Supply. They have always been very knowledgeable and helpful. They offer a tig welding class once a month. Easy to work with and extremely helpful. They have done all they could to help Red Barn Small Engine School. Helped us outfit for the kids for the intro to welding classes we offer.

I'm here visiting my brother-in-law and his family. I hail from upstate South Carolina. My BIL offered me his seat for the 11/15/23 class. I attended with a few of his kids. We had a fantastic time. Elizabeth was such a wonderful tutor for the aluminum welding, especially for a noob like me. I learned the basic concepts of TIG welding and am excited to return to SC with this knowledge. I plan to visit again for another class when I return.The staff are more than friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. If I lived here, I'd continue going to the classes and would purchase all my welding supplies from them.Excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Great place. They have everything you need including gas. The guys are great to work with. If you want to learn, they have low pressure classes once a month. And, tonight -the best spaghetti dinner ever!!!

Yep this is the best place to buy welding supplies from in Fairbanks, in my personal opinion! Open minded considered and LISTEN to what you have to say before suggesting a solution.These boys are radical!I look forward to doing business with them again!

Filled up my CO2 tank, looked at an assortment of welders, signed up for the TIG class, met some great guys. Went back to the TIG class and had a blast! Learned so much about TIG welding aluminum and steel. Met some more great folks. Went back a couple days later and bought the welder I'd been dreaming about for weeks! The best thing about these guys is they aren't trying to sell you anything. They're just answering questions, getting you what you need at some of the lowest prices around, and offering the best welding classes I've ever taken. Hence the reason I'm signed up for the next TIG class! Thanks guys!

Adam and Roy are a very friendly an extremely knowledgeable team. I have had the opportunity to join them for their welding classes, witch are outstanding. I have also had the opportunity to learn about many different products and materials they offer. With years of experience and such friendly atmosphere I wouldn't want to shop at any other welding supply store.

Adam and the team at Central Welding are great! Customer focused, professional, competitvely priced, and responsive! They consistently exceed my demanding expectations. I'd strongly recommend their serviced to any shop/welding professional! If you own a shop or use a lot of material I'd also recommend their "auto replenishment" program!

Adam and Roy are extremely helpful and knowledgeable! They helped me out immensely with both equipment and advice. I highly recommend them for any Co2 needs. And also all you summer campers, go get your propane filled with them! See you soon!

This is a very helpful and friendly welding supply store with competive prices. The staff are the epitome of integrity, competence, honesty, and fairness. I prefer to do business with a family owned business rather than the competitor.They are very responsive to email inquiries with quick replies.They have been hosting some TIG welding classes and I attended the one on aluminum and got to hang out with a bunch of other people interested in TIG welding.
