I ordered a latte, what I received was a coffee with cream, no froth no foam, and a gigantic dose of attitude. I've never met people so defensive or so utterly resistant to learn. People, so quick to argue and defend their beliefs of what a latte is. The entire staff from the cashier to the owner were insistent that lattes do not have foam. When I showed them a picture of what a latte is supposed to look like, and that the entire beverage revolves around the froth and foam, the cashier snapped at me and asked why I was showing her the picture. I mentioned if you're going to make and sell something you need to know how to prepare it. They refunded me. The experience was so negative and unpleasant. I hope that someday they open their minds and their hearts to their customers, who are travelers that are familiar with what a cappuccino and a latte actually are cease to argue with people, rather be more open to learning instead of so quick to argue with their customers and source of income. Alaska is a beautiful destination. The business owners and staff should realize their customers are spending time and money to visit the area, Without visitors they likely wouldn't survive. Why attempt to ruin a person's visit to the area or vacation due to pride and arrogance? Wow just wow.

Pretty well stocked store. Ice cream. I used the laundromat: 4 washers, 4 dryers. They have detergent for sale and ask that you don't use pods. I had a problem with a dryer and they refunded me. There are also 2 showers.

Last summer I couldn't get enough of this place. Today I went in for coffee and Chai lattes. I stood at the "order here" sign for probably 7 minutes before a young man checked a lady out and then just stood there and looked at me. I said "Hi!". He still just looked at me and then said, "are you ready to check out?" I replied I wanted to order coffee and he said "I don't know how."....then said wait, I'll find someone. He proceeded to ask 4 people. No one knew how. ???? How do you have a full staff working, with a coffee menu, and no one knows how to make a coffee??? I think it's safe to say no one WANTED to. Sooo, we'll find another local place to spend our money. Too bad, because those breakfast sandwiches are bangin'.

Average convenience store, nothing super special, I stop there to get drip coffee, use restrooms and buy some snacks, once again absolutely normal. Never had an unpleasant experience and would give 5/10 would recommend if your on your way to or from Anchorage or Girdwood. And yes I live in Alaska, by Alaska I mean REAL AK not fancy pants Anchorage.

Worst philly cheesesteak I've ever eaten. Overpriced microwaved sandwich. Some of the employees seemed really grouchy and unpleasant with the customers and with each other.

Make sure you watch the register when they ring up your items. Liquor store side has wrong prices displayed. My 6 pack rang up for over $15 when the price displayed was $12.99. I m fairly sure the Kenai Peninsula has a 5% tax on alcohol not 20% There s a great liquor store restaurant down the road that doesn t gouge prices

Location is perfect for a mid trip stop on your way from Anchorage to Homer/Seward. Great spot for ice cream and generous portions reflective of the price. Outside of that the menu choices and prices reflect that of being in a location where there are limited places to stop to get food. The service left something to be desired. The staff was busy chatting amongst themselves, they glanced my way a few times but no one asked if they could help me. I finally ordered via the cashier. They were apparently filming some sort of commercial and I was treated as though I was an inconvenience for being there which was disappointing. The coffee hut in their parking lot is a must.

Staff are always friendly. They get busy in the summer, but they do good on getting people in and out.

Good place to stop along the road. Only four stars because of a really difficult situation to navigate: figuring out what line you are in when you are in the store. In the off season, it's not a huge deal, but in summer the lines for food orders, coffee orders and cash register mix together. I know the owners can improve it, the staff is aware and try their best, and they have been steadily enhancing the site.

I went there in September of this year, but I can t stop thinking about my experience there. My family and I ordered ice cream and when I chose chocolate, the lady who was serving us whispered under her breath, out of all the flavors, you chose chocolate. It was unprofessional, and I don t believe we were impolite in any manner. I really hope that the lady wasn t acting rude because of our skin color, but I have a feeling she was.

We have stopped here several times for breakfast and lunch after long hunting or backcountry ski trips....their food is awesome! They go out of their way to please and make quality food that you will enjoy! Also they have a pretty great local beer supply. :)

I've stopped by here on my travels many times over the years and it's always been a convenient and homey place to stop.Last night however Wildmans when above and beyond for me. My car broke down and they were kind enough to let me come in (even though they were closed!) to call a tow truck, the staff was so understanding and even gave me a hot chocolate to warm up with.Wildmans for the win

Among my favorite Alaskan road stops - fast, friendly service, we got a breakfast biscuit to go and inhaled it. Word of caution if you are ordering ice cream - the portions are generous enough to share...the wise will share, and this advice is coming from an ice cream miser.

This is my go-to place on the drive between Soldotna and Anchoragew and sometimes I use the term 'go' because it's where I stop to Go. They also have a great deli and ice cream, knick knacks, everything you need if you're traveling through!! Love them!!

We stop here every time we go to Anchorage. It's usually pretty busy and the parking lot can get hectic. Wide variety of things you might need during a long car ride. They have a coffee shop and ice cream inside.
