They were able to get me in right away, less than 3 days. Dealership was 6 weeks out. Diagnosed the problem, burnt valves and replaced both he's for less than estimate. When we picked it up, noticed leaking radiator fluid, initially thought leaking from freeze plug. Turned out to be cracked head. Had it swapped out and running within a week, no charges.Great guys.

First rate, knowledgeable, automotive diagnostics. They did not get to do the work because I'd recently had the trans rebuilt elsewhere and it was still under warranty. I hope the repairing shop is as careful this time as I am confident J&S would be. James took the time to talk with me about his diagnostic findings and the cause of the reverse gear failure in my truck, and left me with a positive sense of where I want to get my automotive service done from now on. Thumbs up!

From simple oil changes and tire servicing to complicated engine and drive train repair, J&S does it all. Up front and honest about your vehicle's condition and required repairs.

Pretty convenient location. Both times I had to use their services, I was traveling on the HWY to Anchorage. 1) tire blew... had a new set of tires delivered and on the car within 2.5 hrs. 2) my alternator died on my way to town, they let me park my car (no hassle or gimmicks, just genuine Alaskans helping out) until my husband could come pick me and my daughter up. Really nice folks!! Will be going there again for servicing my vehicle beyond what I can do myself.

I can't even say enough about what a wonderful mechanic shop this is. They have not charged me for diagnostic testing and once when I asked them to install a block heater (which we were sure I didn't have) they ended up finding out that I already had one buried in there and did not charge me for any of that either. They are very honest and have excellent customer service. I will always use them for our cars.

I have taken my vehicles to them several times for repair and maintenance. They are honest upfront about the cost and have always gone the extra mile to get the most reasonably priced parts. I highly recommend them.

These local heros continue to give the most Superior customer service from any mechanic shop I've ever seen, I was in the car business 20 years. They are staple in our little community and I would never take my vehicles anywhere else!-Jared

Amazing! I had a flat on one of my run-flat tires. I was able to bring it in right away and within 30 minutes it was patched and I was on my way!

It does not take an hour to press a wheel bearing and for $100 that's ridiculous should only take about 15 minutes.

Pulled off the road with a flat tire and this happened to be the closest auto shop. They fixed our flat in 15 minutes and charged us $15. Will be back in the future.
