My experience with Swickard yesterday was almost perfect. First: Easy to make the appointment. Second: They were very accommodating when I had to change the appointment Third: No wait when I dropped off my car. Fourth: All work done well and winter tires wrapped in back of car. Fifth: Very courteous, professional people to work with and a nice driver available for shuttle service.Small downside: I tried to phone to see if my car was ready because I was in the area with a friend --but could not get through. And I miss the Store your Tires!

I recently visited Swickard Chevrolet Buick Cadillac & GMC of Anchorage for an oil change service and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the team, particularly Nathan. In the past, such services have often taken the better part of a day, but this time was a complete departure from that norm.Despite arriving a few minutes late for my appointment, my vehicle was promptly taken in for service. To my delight, within just an hour or so, I received a text message that the oil change was complete.Nathan's demeanor stood out as he was not only polite and respectful but also exemplified a high level of professionalism throughout the service. I truly appreciate the seamless and swift service experience I had at Swickard dealership and would highly recommend their services, especially for those looking for efficient and customer-centric care for their vehicles.

I was making an unexpected trip to Anchorage and called Swickard to see if they had any openings to PM my vehicle. They got me right in for preventative maintenance. When I arrived for my appointment, the folks that check in vehicles for repair were as friendly and efficient as always. They rapidly processed several vehicles; communicating expectations with each client. I had a cup of coffee and read a bit of the paper, while Swickard worked on my vehicle. My truck maintenance was completed in what seemed like record time. I met with my service specialist to discuss the truck and was processed out. The entire experience was was quick and easy. Great customer service!

I had an excellent customer service. Od was the first person who attended to me. Calvin submitted my credit application. Eddie, the manager, gave me a good price for an Equinox Lt 2023. Jeremy assisted me in signing the papers and clearly explained everything. All of them are very friendly and kind. I really needed a car because my old one broke down and I have to take my son to school 6 miles away. Also, in Anchorage, a vehicle is a need for many things. I am grateful you guys help to finance my first new car.

Nathan and the Service team were professional in caring for me and my Traverse. The waiting area was clean, quiet, and well stocked with goodies. My only concern was exiting the parking lot on to the busy Glenn Highway required patience and and a bit of nerve.

As soon as you walk into the building you're noticed right away by the Swickard staff and kindly asked if you need any assistance. I thought maybe it was because of my good looks and charm that I got noticed so quickly, but apparently, they do this with all their customers. I mean the staff was very respectful and answered any questions I had. The one that stood out for me was a lady named, Maryanne. Excellent customer service, intelligent, and also kind which is very hard to do when it comes to customer service. I purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra back in October 2022 from Jethro with plans to ship it to the lower 48 within the next two weeks. The staff, professionalism, and ability of the dealer to close the deal in a timely fashion exceeded my standard. Prior to shipping my truck I brought it to GMC for a exterior wash so I wouldn t have any issues shipping the vehicle since it had to be cleaned. Upon receiving my vehicle back, I was not thrilled to see that the wash had damaged the paint on my brand new truck. Without hesitation, I took photos, and I emailed them over to my sales person Jethro. He quickly took action to notify the sales manager, who that same night got in contact with me and ensured that this issued would be resolved. Within not even 12 hours, Mark the general manager had got in contact with me as well, and ensured me that the outcome of my wash was completely unacceptable and to not stress the situation because it would be taken care of. I was informed to find a location of my choice to have the truck taken care of. Mark, Jethro, and James (the sales manager) we re all extremely helpful with helping me resolve this issue. I ve never had such an amazing experience out of at the time what seemed like a horrifying issue. I would recommend anybody to purchase at this GMC dealership based on the ending customer satisfaction and commitment all the individuals had to ensuring my needs were met. Thank you!

Working with Darius and Jeremy at Swickard was amazing! They were both so kind, attentive and patient through my car buying process. I was able to spend some time to think about my purchase before returning to make a decision and never once felt pressured or as if they were watching the clock.

Staff was all incredibly nice and helpful. It was my first time taking my car in for an oil change alone, which I'm sure was incredibly obvious as I had no idea what to do. I was guided through the process, and everyone I spoke to explained what would happen. They gave clear timelines and price approximations, and finished earlier than quoted for having 5 cars ahead of me with only one mechanic doing the oil changes. Whoever that mechanic is deserves a nice long lunch break! The shuttle driver was much appreciated, thank you for providing that service and for having such kind drivers.

Bill was good to work with, however we were a little disappointed in the dealership itself; they certainly aren t Alaska Sales. We have bought numerous vehicles over the years, both new and used, and they have always detailed the vehicle as well as filled the tank with fuel ..not anymore; we were told because it was used (2022) only 1/4 tank was the norm. Vehicle we purchased was fairly clean but could still have used a scrub.

Loved it. I love that they kept the Alaska Sales and Service staff and overall "feel." I've lived in Alaska for going on 50 years and I used to bring fleet vehicles to this business for service.This time however, I bought a new car. I've never had a new car before, and they made the process quick and delightful. The young man that did the ride along was knowledgeable and personable.

Bought a used car from Swickard yesterday. I have not used a dealership for car buying for many years as it was a huge hassle with waiting and haggling and pushy salesmen. From the moment I walked in the experience was sooo different than what I expected. My salesman Jorge was an extremely friendly and helpful young man that made the car buying process simple and fast. I started at Swickard and test drove a vehicle and was able to leave and test drive 2 other vehicles at 2 other dealerships without any pressure to buy from him. I returned after a couple of hours and the negotiation and completion of the deal was done in about an hour. I am happy with my purchase and am satisfied with the deal I received. If you want a no hassle car buying experience ask for Jorge.

Had a GMC 1500 Sierra V8 5.3 L84 in the shop for a faulty lifter, car was still under warranty but GM canceled it and ask me to cover half of the repair/parts ($3000) - Maryanne was very helpful and keep me update on my vehicle repairs. I raised my concern with the General/Service manager and they made sure that I don't pay a dime for the repair. Awesome Team. I was referred to a program that can cover all the cost - car running perfect now - hopefully for many years to come

Car completely ready to go when we arrived. Salesman was very knowledgeable on car features. Parts dept had perfect fitting rubber floor liners to protect floor totally. 3 days in and so far I m totally pleased with Swickard and their staff! Great Job! Love the Tahoe Z71 as well!

The dealership itself did a great job. It s the call center I have major issues with. They scheduled our recall appointment for a weekend so I drove out it -16 degree weather with my little ones to only find the dealership couldn t do the work. I had to call and reschedule this for a week day. Then arrive at the dealership which was told my appt was never scheduled but they did work us in. I highly recommend going to the dealership to schedule appointments. It s beyond frustrating.

Great job at listening. Great job at getting my car in to be looked at. My only complaint is that the ONLINE CORPORATE appointment submission does not connect or inform the local dealership in a proper way as it tells them I m coming in and making an appointment for a basic oil change when it was actually a much different request. YOU CAN DO BETTER. Fix this issue

Had an oil change there recently and my check engine light had turned on the day after scheduling the appointment for my Chevy Colorado. At first they were going to charge me for the diagnostic for but was able clear up the problem and only charged me for the oil change.I was very happy that I only got charged for the oil change. Also I only have 1 vehicle and was able to get a ride from Ken the shuttle car driver to my house and a pick up ride the next day. That really helps out when your only vehicle is in the shop.Sabrina the front desk clerk was very friendly and got me checked in promptly.Very happy there is a great alternative to Chevy Anchorage who couldn't even change my oil without taking my truck for 7 days.I will definitely use Swickard Chevy again.

Yesterday I purchased a new vehicle from Swickard GMC/ Chevrolet of Anchorage, and to be honest I never look forward to buying from dealerships and typically it is a massive headache, everything takes all day and they have absolutely no concept of the value of time. But and I can say yesterday was the best buying experience I have ever had my sales man was Bill Hedge he worked hard and even on his day off to get the truck I wanted locked down as it was in transit, once it arrived at the dealership 3 days early by the way he had the truck ready to go as well as the paper work and I don t think total time more than an hour of my time was spent. Every one was courteous and polite and Bill made sure everything ran smoothy, I could not be happier 100% my best experience with a sales man and dealership.

Had our Chevrolet Truck getting work done from an accident there, first off everything was great until the shop dropped my taillight after work was complete, so they asked where I got them and tried to replace it, first off they ordered the wrong taillights, and it was clearly the wrong style and type. Then after 2 months of waiting from their mistake while my truck just sat, I got our truck after 3 months. Wrong tail lights, the work I paid for out of pocket was NOT done, the brand new bummer don t sit even, it s crooked, there s 3 inches of a gap on one side of the bumper, when they wired my taillights they messed up some how so my lights where not working when picked up, no walkthrough of truck when complete, there s still damage from accident, scratches where new work was done. When I picked up my truck engine light came on, mind you it was -30 degrees out during winter, they said they had my truck towed to a different shop, because I asked because when I picked up my truck right when I started it it s said no oil pressure turn off engine immediately so I walked right back in after two mins of picking up keys and Patrick said not our fault we never drove your truck! When I get the secuyfottage from shop they took to they clearly drove my truck, no seatbelts, did drift into the parking lot! I brought it up with the shops manager Patrick and he said nope we never drive it when I have security footage of it! I support Chevrolet all my life. My first Truck was a 1970 C-10 and only had Chevrolet trucks since. After this experience I am very sad that Chevrolet has managers in place like his that don t care for customers, as well not doing the Right thing and even try to make it right. I hope people won t buy or use services from here. Very let down with Swickard Chevrolet for this horrible service. Customer service is Trash . If you want a headache and them telling you it s not thier issue and get nothing done go here! Shame on Swickard next thing is to make signs and post them around town to spread awareness. I think spending a few hundred bucks on signs on their services in front of their shop will due just fine! I am okay with spending some cash on signs to share my horrible experience with everyone!

Steve Druce assisted me at my appointment and was very courteous and professional. My vehicle was done quickly and I received a full report of all that was done. I was impressed with the care given my vehicle, seeing they even put down plastic over my seat and a paper floor covering to protect and keep the vehicle clean while they worked on it.

Service guy was excellent! Knows his job and was prompt on what was a very busy day.I have some issues with the bill and again it s not his fault. But $536 dollars to replace a battery is crazy! I will just go back to doing the work myself.Again, Service writer guy was excellent. But I will never come there again.

I scheduled an oil change, coolant line replacement, battery replacement and asked them to replace my tire sensor's since it was leaking slowly. They held my vehicle for 3 days and did not replace my tire sensor. During the 3 days they had my vehicle, I was not notified of the status of my vehicle. I attempted to chase down my service rep for 3 days while I wondered when my vehicle would be completed. I am a returning customer and the first time I had my truck serviced here, I had no issues, they replaced what I asked them to replace and my customer service rep was a pleasure to talk to. She kept me informed of what was going on to the point I felt could tell she cared. This time around not so much. I'm not sure if it's the times we live in, but it is pretty clear that the care was not there. My experience was downright offensive and I'm happy to say that I won't be returning where I'm not welcome. Point taken.

I did 4 stars because ..svc person was great but only 2 of 4 were doing anything Sabrina and the other lady were doing everything and talking to frustrated people waiting to calm them down.. when I picked my vehicle up and opened the hood there was a ring of oil around the fill and down the neck I spent 5 minutes and 1 sheet of paper towel cleaning it up. this is why 4 stars I work in a customer service type company and it s the little things that frustrate people when everything else is good. The SVC dept is obviously under staffed like everywhere else. Just alittle attention to detail and it would have been 5 stars

They gave me the option to pay using their app instead of in-person, and I chose that, but there was no space to add my MyBuick Rewards number to earn points for the visit, and with the bill being nearly $700, that would have been a big boost toward future visit. When I picked up the car, the dealer stated the points are only available if you pay in-person, and cannot be added afterwards when the car is picked up. This should change very soon, and if there's a way to get those points added to my account, please advise.

I wanted to thank Dan Starr and the team at Swickard Chevrolet. I was lucky enough to find a mistake and instead of hiding it or making excuses they honored it. I flew down from Fairbanks and they ensured the vehicle was ready to go. For anyone in the Fairbanks area, a flight down for $99, half a tank of gas for $50 and 5.5 hours driving back up to save $5-7,000 off MSRP instead of Fairbanks Chevy still adding dealer markups.
