Ben and Sharon are the best! Great quality of service and very professional. I always go here when I have a problem with my car.Got my car towed from a dealer couple years ago and brought it here in Payless because the dealer couldn t fix it and my car was almost 3 months in their yard. But Ben got my car in and fixed it in a couple days that the dealer couldn t even fix. So as always thanks Ben ^_^And now I just got my car had its body repaired and painted. Sharon is very professional and very patient with me until I got satisfied with all the work that I wanted done on my car. She is always there and ready to answer questions and ready to help you. I m very much impressed and my car looks brand new and looking sharp again. Thank you Sharon and the team who worked on my car. I love it.I always recommend Payless Collision and Service to my friends and other people who wants to get their car serviced or repaired. My insurance company sent me to classic collision on Dowling first. But the guy was so rude to me. He told me that they couldn t get my car in until March after he very sarcastically told me that he was sorry they didn t just happen to have the parts for my car sitting on their shelves. He was a jerk. I left in tears and went to Payless collision. They immediately made me feel better. They made me an appointment immediately had my car in within a week and a half had it for 2 1/2 days and I picked it up and it is beautiful. The lady at the counter was amazingly kind. She knew my name the second time I came in, and the gentleman who did my car was very familiar with my Dodge and talked to me and explained every little thing in detail.Thank you Payless collision for your incredible service.

I had them paint the replacement skin for my trailer door. Chazz was super helpful and got it done faster than I expected! The service was top notch and the quality of work was above and beyond. Superb Service- a cut above.Professional, expedient and reliable work.They got me in and out the same day and for a much better price than I expected.The manager Ben was personable and offered to let me wait in their luxurious lounge with Big Screen TV and complimentary coffee.

The manager Ben was very polite, professional, helpful and patient with my entire process. I brought my old Audi in for a repair and within 3 days, what I would have waited 3 weeks for somewhere else, was done at a reasonable price. Then Sharon in auto body helped me with some body shop quotes and emailed all the info I needed within the few hours of speaking with her. Also friendly helpful and professional. From purchasing a new vehicle from Payless to repairs and questions in regards to other information needed on Audi , I m thoroughly impressed! Thanks Payless crew!

A month ago I made an appointment to get my vehicle in for an estimate to repair damage from a minor accident. I waited over 3 weeks only to learn the person with whom I scheduled the estimate had failed to record my appointment. Since it was Payless error, I asked for consideration for an estimate ASAP---maybe if there was a cancelation. I was told I had to get back in the cue which would require waiting another month after Playless has already cost me a month's delay in getting my vehicle repaired. Not confirmation of the terrific customer service I've seen in other evaluations of Payless.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Had my car Honda Fit 2019 fixed in this shop for auto body damage. Had to wait for a long time for parts to arrive (which was driving me crazy) but the ultimate work was of excellent quality. My car looked like a Christmas gift! So, auto body technicians/specialists are good there. Also, whoever did the finish on my car, did really good job. Not terribly happy with this body shop. The body work on my vehicle was done, but nothing mechanical. So, I'll buy the rims (because apparently as a body shop, they can't) and drive it to an actual mechanic.They're fast, and cheap - insurance companies love that, but as a consumer, this won't be my Go-To shop moving forward.

Honest, hard working, and friendly. As a woman it can be intimidating going to mechanic, they make everything understandable without being condescending. Also gave me options to make budgeting easier.

I had some minor bumper damage one week before I was supposed to ship my car out to move out of state. My car had been pulled into a parking spot too far and scraped the bottom and loosened a piece off and was hanging down. In order to ship it off I just needed that piece out of the way - zip tied, glued, taped - whatever needed to be done!I dropped my car off (after being asked to) at another business and was then called and notified a day later that they were only doing car tire turnover service for the foreseeable future. This was after I had already made arrangements and paid for a rental car. Sadly, I didn't have much time left to find someone to repair my poor car.I called probably 10 places all around Anchorage and Eagle River and no one was interested in the details of my problem and they didn't have time to do it before I was supposed to leave. I called Payless Collision with no real hope but Chaz actually listened to my problem and told me to bring it by to see what they could do.I brought the car by and they were able to fix the small flap very quickly. It may have been a small fix to them, but it helped me out very much. Thank you for going above and beyond for people, it does not go unnoticed!Services: Auto body & trim repair, Body & Trim

Sharon and the team did an amazing job! I tore the leather in my 2019 Chevy pickup and Payless dealt directly with my insurance to get the repair approved and taken care of. The quality of the workmanship made it look like new again. They got me right in and had it done it no time. I had them detail the inside when they were done and it was like the day I drove it off the lot. Thanks for a great experience!!Services: Auto detailing, Upholstery repair

These guys were awsome to work with, I met Chad the service writer and we discussed replacing a quarter panel on my Chevy silverado, he ordered up the parts, two weeks later I brought my truck down from Valdez, dropped it off and a week later they called to let me know it was done. I flew back to Anchorage went and checked in at a hotel. The next morning, they offered to come get me! Awsome! Saved me some Uber expense. I got to the shop, not only was the truck finished, but they had detailed it inside and out at no extra charge! It looked spectacular! I am now a lifelong customer .Robert Cragun

Ben one of the service managers here at Payless Auto is so awesome at his job. He was very knowledgeable and highly skilled. He is the epitome of excellent customer service. His love for fixing cars definitely makes him the best candidate in his position. He deserves a raise. 10/10 would highly recommend coming here 10/10 will come back in the future when my car needs service. Thanks Ben!

We have used several auto body places over the years and we can honestly say, this company is the best. Sharon and Shawn are outstanding-friendly, knowledgeable and the price is the best in town. Our car looks fantastic. They even detailed our entire auto upon completion of their excellent work. They are a full service operation and we are very impressed. Payless Auto Collision & Service made a very upsetting situation into a great one. They fixed damage from a car accident on the front passenger side of my car. It looked better then I had it before! They even touched up the paint. I was amazed. Sharon kept me updated every step of the way. Sharon and my mechanic pointed to each part of the damage and walked me through my decision of either repairing or replacing certain parts. Other mechanics that I have worked with before have never done that for me. Even though I was stressed with my car accident I am so happy I found Payless Auto Collision & Service. They offer detailing, oil change, paint etc. I have finally found a great one stop auto shop!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Oil change

I've had lousy auto body work done on two other vehicles that I once owned, and these shops don't compare to Payless' professional environment and great repair work. Yes, I was very satisfied with the end craftmanship on my vehicle and the in/out time was better than I expected. So kudos to Payless! Thank you, thank you!

A big thank you to Payless Collision and Chaz. I have an old family truck (1993 Ford 350) that I have slowly been fixing up and one consistent issue I have encountered was both the driver/passenger doors not shutting properly/rattling. I had two other mechanic shops try and fix the doors with no success. I also called several other body shops in town with them all saying they didn t have the time to look at an old truck s doors.I had seen some positive reviews for Payless Collision online and decided to give them a call as my last shot. Luckily, I got ahold of Chaz at Payless who was very personable and told me to bring the truck by the next day, so he could look at it. What I appreciated about Chaz was his honesty. He told me these old truck doors can be difficult with age, but he was willing to give realigning them a shot. Chaz fit me into the schedule with an opening the following week and the work was completed in just a day.The truck turned out better than I could have expected! The doors close properly now and no more rattling when I drive. In addition, he reattached my inside panels with larger screws, which he said were also causing the rattling. Once again, I appreciated Chaz because he wanted me to inspect the truck/work before payment, which I think is a rare thing by companies these days.Finally, the entire cost was extremely reasonable. After all the trouble I had encountered from all the other mechanic shops, I was certain this work was going to result in an expensive repair. But to my surprise the cost was low and a great price for the work performed!I can t thank Chaz and the team at Payless Collision enough. I m so glad that I found these guys and this repair could finally be completed the right way!Thanks again!Service: Body & Trim

I had my roof repaired last summer after a car wash riped off my roof rack and they did a great job of fixing it up. Less than a yr later some autobody trim on the roof started coming undone (adhesive issue), and Payless Collission replaced it for free. Recently had my trucks first issues since I bought the car. Ben the mechanic was extremely helpful and gave me all the information I needed. Not only that, he went above and beyond with keeping me updated and making sure I had the best possible deal I could get instead of just throwing whatever at me. I highly recommend going and speaking with him if you have issues. He will tell you exactly what you need to know, and if he doesn't know right away, he looks into it beyond what most would be willing to do. I d give Payless auto collision in Anchorage AK a perfect 10 if I could. I came from California for a few months alone to work on a cabin but unfortunately after the first snow I slid off the road and damage the entire side of my 2019 Tacoma. I went to a few places to get quotes for my insurance company but was disappointed. Few weeks later I walked into Payless and ask for a quote. Few minutes later my stress level dropped and I new I was in good hands with Payless. Thank god I went here. I ve never been treated so good in my life. The work performed was at a level I didn t know was possible. The employees are at a level rarely seen nowadays. If you need work done to your vehicle don t waste your time with other places as I did, go to Payless. This place gets a perfect 10 from me, truly an amazing place. Payless has great customer service and the prices are very reasonable. I have been using them for auto detailing and upholstery repair. I am very satisfied with the workmanship and would recommend. Had the pleasure (and good luck) of being referred to Payless Collision to fix my heater and washer fluid pump. After pinpointing exactly what my problem was, Ben was able to save me about $1000 and he kept me in the loop throughout the whole process. Top notch customer service. Ben and the other staff that assisted me were friendly, professional and clearly valued my time . I went in with a tire losing psi (still mounted on the vehicle) and was practically done by the time I finished making a coffee in their waiting area. I was given a quote to replace the headliner of my vehicle. I was told they could repair it, rather than replace it. I told them I don't think it would work and it didn't, even though it wasn't bad. When I went to pick it up the next day, so they could order wide enough material, another person told me he wouldn't let the upholster person do it for the price given. He wanted to charge $200 more. I wasted two days of not having a vehicle and got a run around. You still have my number for the white Land Rover, if you want to make this right and stick to the original price agreed on, before I have someone else do it in a couple of weeks. I got the headliner back worse than when I brought it in, with no compensation, yet.Service: Classic car upholstery

Had a great experience with Denis at Payless, very professional walked me through the whole process. They have the best quality cars and they basically took care of everything.
