Took me 3 visits to get my tires balanced properly. And they charged me to get them redone and conveniently didn t check the balancing before re-balancing (means they don t have to admit they messed up). Tom also, instead of being apologetic for me having to come in 3x, gave me attitude about not bringing it back same day (had a ski trip already planned). All in all, cost 170$ and about 4 hours over 3 trips to get a super simple job done.

Owner Tom was accommodating, personable, and got the job done quickly. He got me in and out in less than 2 hours when I was initially told it could take 3 days. Very pleased and will be coming back for routine car care.The negative reviews surprise me. It is worth it checking these guys out.

Can't say enough Amazing things about this shop. Picture driving in dead of winter on the way to a client meeting and your clutch pedal goes to the floor. I started to panic and down shifted. I came around the corner and saw MT Auto, so I pulled in.The master cylinder in my truck was messed up from the previous owner not installing it correctly.I was able to get in into their shop for sane day service. I was an hour away from home with no convenient way to get back to town to pick it up. They had it running same day and even stayed after close of business to get it done.These people are fantastic, highly recommend. Vehicle I was driving was a 1997 Toyota T100 3.4 v6 Manual. They had me all set in no time. Again highly recommend.I am dropping my '04 4runner V8 with them this week Aug 2022 to get some brake work done. I hope they can fix it like they did my previous vehicle.Big Fans of these guys, I've met the owner and he is a stand up guy. Look forward to seeing this shop grow. Excellent service on my truck. The young man who worked on my truck was not just a nice friendly person, but also has very professional demeanor. The manager/owner is a great guy. Professional at what he does. Additionally, he goes out of his way to accommodate your requests and needs as much as he could. Just a very friendly gentleman all around. Had a slow leak on a tire that needed attention while we were in Anchorage for the day. Could tell that just adding air was not all it needed. They did a plug patch combo on the tire and got us in and out in about 20 minutes. They were great to work with and saved our day!

Do not do business here. My wife had her tires changed here and one of her tires fell off WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING, all because they put the wrong lug nuts on her tires. When confronted about it, the owner then proceeded to tell us that she was responsible party and it was her fault for not knowing THEY put the wrong parts on. To top the whole experience off the owner proceeded to call us names that I cannot repeat on this platform. They then not only refused to fix their potentially life-ending mistake but also banned her for life for inconveniencing them. Do not go here unless you re willing to put your life in the hands of someone who doesn t care about the quality of their work and will lie to get your money.Service: Tires

Friendly locally owed small buisness. Very accommodating and kind staff. I got my oil changed and tires mounted and balanced. They had me in and out within the hour. I will pay a dollar more to support the small guys whenever I can. Over all they do great work!! The MT Auto team fixed my truck along with doing some custom work on it. I also saw the owner stop and pull a stuck vehicle out of a ditch during a winter storm.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BE SCAMMED. They took my tires off this spring 2023 and when we went back to have my winter tires put back on there was a broken part that they never mentioned in the spring that HAD to be fixed to do my tires and it doubled our price. They are not honest and have done work in bad faith. (read other reviews below)

Knowing this shop is consistently busy I was incredibly impressed with how quick they were able to get me in for my oil change and tire rotation! It seems the owner, Tom is definitely pulled in numerous directions whilst trying to assist you, having to answer the phone to update customers, and also working on vehicles with his team. It didn t stop him from offering wonderful customer service though, and I can t appreciate enough, a hands on owner that s making sure things are getting done. Called ahead about repairing a tire with a screw in it. Sarah told me to drop it off and their tire guy would fix it when he returned from lunch. Mozzie had just gotten back and started repairing the tire while I was still checking the tire pressure of the wheels on my rig. One of the valve core stems was bent and would not reseal, leaving me with a second flat tire. When Mozzie finished repairing the first wheel, he quickly pulled and replaced the core on the spot, saving me a wheel swap. Two problems fixed within thirty minutes AND my co-pilot dogs received treats from Sarah as a bonus.Pro tip: The guys in the shop really like donuts.Service: Tires

Decent service, UNTIL they break something and refuse to fix it. I brought my car in for a simple fix that they did quite well. After paying that day, I picked up my car after hours when I had a ride, and the check engine light came on immediately, and it drove erratically. Clearly they knocked a wire loose or something. I took it to them Monday and they said they would check the code for $20. Wait, what? You broke my car, and you re going to charge me $20 to plug in your machine? At first he said his mechanic could look in 20 minutes or I could come back tomorrow. After I told him I wouldn t pay $20, he said they are too busy today and I should come back tomorrow. Seriously? I took it to them because it was a simple repair. I live close and frequently get gas or minor repairs or tire changeover there. Never again. No gas. No flat fix, and certainly no engine repair. Hopefully the next owners will do better at customer service.

I had an intoxalock system installed (hey we all make mistakes), and their customer service and vehicle service technicians were very professional. I did have minor issues with the system and had to take it back a few times, but everytime they did their very best to turn the vehicle around in a few hours. Very satisfied with the level of service from MT Auto.

TL;DR this place is sub-par at best. Communication and customer service are non-existent. You ll hear from them only when they want your car out of their parking lot.Zero stars for the level of communication. I had to call routinely to check up on the vehicle and get updates I never would have received otherwise. The receptionist lied about calling me when the shop ordered a custom part and proceeded to work on our vehicle without authorization.Zero stars for the owner s (Tom) attitude towards his own staff and towards customers. Tom told me verbatim that he didn t trust his receptionist to explain the initial quote for our vehicle. Due to this, I wanted to speak with him directly for the quote. Trying to sit down with him took about two weeks. Multiple times he d given me a time to meet him, so I would come and wait around for an hour before eventually leaving when he never showed up. The receptionist kept telling me he would call, but he never would.Tom refused to take responsibility for the lack of communication and for the ever-changing quote. He literally said, It s just a couple hundred bucks, I don t see the problem. The quote is supposed to be an estimate. He went on to blame it on the fifty other cars he had to work on. In the same conversation, he mentioned that he forgets to order parts and give phone calls when other things are going on, which seemed odd. He also wanted us to thank him for not charging us for his drive time to and fro the shop something he said he doesn t charge for anyway. OK, Tom. Thank you for doing your job.Zero stars for the experience as a whole. The entire experience took over a month to get my vehicle back and involved much more stress and much more money than I expected. I never would ve come here if I had known that Tom and his crew could only provide the bare minimum instead of the time, care, and effort that s the norm from the other mechanics around town.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

We go here for propane they have the cheapest prices. My hubby likes it here so we come monthly. I always stay in car so my review is based on the help we get when they fill our tanks & prices.

My 2016 Toyota Tacoma broke down at the car wash right next door to your business tonight. It was 5:20pm on a Sunday and obviously already closed, however the gentleman there Mr. Morgan, came over to help me (stranded with a 5 year old in the back seat) my starter all the sudden wouldn t start. He pulled my battery apart and cleaned it (it was very corroded) and spent time trying to get it to work. After much effort and energy it was pretty obvious that I needed a new starter or something.. he offered to let us stay inside the shop while I called a tow truck which i declined, but it was very kind. I was impressed with how hard he tried to help and I was already planning on making sure the company knew how grateful I was. As I am on the phone with a tow truck he ran back over and had another idea, and it absolutely did the trick and got my truck started!!!! And I was able to get home.I just wanted to say that his compassion and his helpfulness during a super stressful moment for me, was so appreciated, and I will never ever go anywhere else to buy gas or have work done on any vehicles due to this employee. I wanted to thank him, as well as the company for hiring him, because he was a very good hire!!!!! I was extremely stressed out with a kid in the back, and he literally was a knight in shining armor for me. Thank you guys for saving my day.!!! And I will certainly be seeing you again, and I will certainly be referring everybody. I know if you want the business. tell Mr. Morgan, He s very appreciated. We are so lucky to have broken down in the time and spot and everyone he was already helping (after hours) was so gracious to be patient while he helped me. This was after hours and on a Sunday. I cannot thank you enough. Most people wouldn t have bothered and it really restored my faith in humanity. This company messed up my truck! I paid 650 for an alarm that doesn t work and now I having problems with the electrical. It took them 2 days to try and figure out my truck and when he called to tell me my truck is ready he said the auto start doesn t work only the alarm. The owner told me that they needed another part but they will need more money. I hope I can help someone out by posting this.

They do good work at a reasonable price. Their ability to convey reliable estimates for how long the work will take needs some improvement. Of course this could be related to the challenges post covid finding employees. I continue to utilize their services because they do good work, just consider their estimate for time to be more a suggestion. Cost estimates are spot on, so that is not a concern.

Work was completed In a timely manner no issues there. My issue isthe price I was told on the phone the previous night we discussed increased by nearly 400 dollars. There was also a charge on my bill for an extra service done I did not bring car there for. They did remove that. I deal with several places and always get quotes before work is done. Most professionals let people know if something changes that will drastically make price exceed what was quoted. When. I questioned all I was told is that everything you were charged for was done to your car.

Brought my truck in for an oil change, plug and wires and a coolant flush. I dropped my truck off when they opened on a Saturday. When I called 5 and a half hours later to check on my truck I was told to check back around 5 and they should be done. When I get there about 5, their closing time, I find out they hadn't worked on it yet and one of the mechanics was going to stay after to work on it but they are closed on Sundays and I needed my truck for work. I was also informed that they sent one of their guys home earlier in the day, but at no time did anybody think that they should call their customers to update them on the timeline for their repairs. I will not be going back to this business for anything, including gas.Service: Oil change

**DO NOT GO HERE**My partner dropped off his trailer to get a tire fixed, was quoted $90. When he showed up to pick it up way later than was originally told it would be ready, they told him it was $1300. They had done a significant amount of unauthorized work. When questioned why he wasn't contacted to approve of the work, they shrugged and said he'd have to take it up with the owner. Needless to say, that goes nowhere. Only giving one star because you have to. Save yourself from getting ripped off and go somewhere reliable.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Took my car here after MONTHS of having my heater go in and out in -10 degree weather! Dropped it off right before church and by the time I was out of church (about an hour and a half) IT WAS FIXED! I couldn t believe it, not only was everything fixed, they replaced all of my fluids! Beyond impressed with this business, you just found yourself a loyal customer Service: Air conditioning

Unprofessional. Unreliable. They had my husbands car all day (9:30-6:00) and were short several parts to the repair. My husband had to pay for a hotel (We are from out of town) and told it would be complete quickly the following morning. After showing up the next morning and waiting over an hour, the guys said they couldn t even work on it until the afternoon. They got the part, got our car and told us they d be done in an hour. It took over 2 hours. We will never use them again or recommend them.Service: Electrical

mt auto told me my jeep was unsafe to drive. they gave me a loaner car (their words). over ten days i was given one quote but then told it would costs upwards of $1000 more, along with a long story of how the first mechanic left the job. after a few more days i was told that repair could take months and that is if their head mechanic wanted to do the repairs. the repairs was a brake job, and cv joints. i returned the loaner and was told that my jeep was safe to drive. i asked if there was a charge for the loaner, i was told of course not, it's a loaner so i offered to pay $25 in gas. i was charged $75 for an inspection fee. i had put $500 credit on my account and was told that i needed to wait two days till the owner returned. the owner texted me and told me that i owe $246 for the loaner car and labor fees! i texted back explaining everything i just wrote above. he never answere. i called him, he told me that i was "beyond insulting" to not pay for use of his car (notice he no longer called it a loaner). i told him he did not say anything about loaner fees and when i paid the bill two days ago i was told again that there was no charge for a loaner. he yelled and said that i took my car somewhere else for repairs. i said, so you are charging me in spite? after the fact? he then proceeded to hang up on me. i then texted him to let him know that i filed a dispute with my bank. it's not nice of him to refuse to give a 100% disabled vet my money back! Boo!**minutes after posting this review, the owner called me to harass me! **this is a follow up of the previous rating. as a review, mt auto still had $500 of my money, they told the bank that they will issue a refund if i came by. i stopped by, the owner processed the refund . it wasn t a refund! they took another $500 of my money! i called them and the owner claimed he didn t really know how to do refunds, he processed a refund while i was on the phone. that was friday, i have to wait until tuesday or wednesday for the refund to process. meanwhile , they have $1000 of my money!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Staff was professional and answered all my questions. They did break a windshield wiper but replaces it at no charge. They also filled my power steering fluid because it was low (no charge). Very friendly staff (easy on the eyes as well ) watched them interact with multiple customers while I waited and all left happy. I will recommend these guys to my friends.

Seems to be some quite varied reviews here so I thought I should share what I have experienced at Reed's. No they don't seem to have the best face on all the time but I have not experienced them being rude to me or others. maybe they should take some sensitivity training but I think as an owner operator service station we're lucky to have any left. I have only bought fuel often and one set of used tires there, as well as had them mount and balance quite a few sets and repair flats when I needed it done right with a patch on the inside over the last 20 years. I have never had a problem at all and they have been quite fair on the pricing compared to anyone else I know of. I do my own maintenance and repairs so can't speak to that. Just happy to have a service station around still!

Made appt for tire change over at 2 pm. Called at 3:45 for status, was told about a lug nut problem/they were worn/damaged and needing to be replaced. Vehicle was ready at 5:30. They charged me $200 for the lug nuts, that s $10 EACH! Will not be going back.Service: TiresService: Tires

I had my car towed there, as highly recommended by one the employees, for rear brake pads and tire changeover, March 22, 2022; as of today, April 8, 2022, I still don't have my vehicle. I had the same experience as Brian (previos reviewer); nothing done, not even the tires. I went there on the 24th, I was told they had to order more parts. A week later, I go there again, "sorry, you needed more parts; but it should be good to go tomorrow, March 30th! I finally get a call on Moday, April 4th, after me leaving messages, yet another part has to be ordered, "it should be in later today, do you want us to go ahead, he's in the middle of finishing it now, then everything is done." In the meantime, I'm quoted $500.00 more than I was quoted on the 30th! No call, so I call them again, April 6th, "the part doesn't work, and we can't find it, O'Reilly doesn't have it either, so we will have to get it from the the dealership." I'm getting my car towed back to my house, first thing tomorrow.Services: Tires, Auto brake repair
