Excellent customer service, and they really seem to care about their customers.Chris worked with me over the phone to try and get my Norcold unit working, and he was very patient and knowledgeable. We had work done on our Arctic Fox trailer years back and they did a great job on a water pump factory defect that caused over 3,000 in damage to the RV. They had to pull the bottom panels, replace all of the insulation, dry everything out, install new insulation and water pump and quite a bit more that I can't recall right off the top of my head. They do great work, and I recommend them.Their parts inventory might be small, but prices there definitely seem very reasonable, and they have a decent selection.

Been there twice in the last 2 years. Great customer service both times. The 1st visit I had a lot of work that needed done. That work was done well and have had no issues with it since. The recent visit was for something that I thought needed fixed. They could have easily taken my money, but were very helpful and informed me it was something that wasn't needed. They also spent some time with me on that visit with tips and tricks to make sure I winterized my RV properly. I would highly recommend them.

The landing gear on my fifth wheel stopped working. I am in Alaska for vacation all repair shops I talked to were booked for about 2 weeks. I called Karen s and talked to Jeff. He said they were also booked, but would ask shop foreman if they could work me in. He called me back on a few minutes and said to come in first thing the next morning. I got there and they replaced my landing gear and had me on my way in 2 hours. Jeff, the Shop Foreman and the Technician were all excellent. They turned my trip around and got me back to enjoying beautiful Alaska!

I went down to have them winterize my trailer and I asked them to evaluate my two overhead vent covers and gaskets and tell me their condition so I could replace them if needed. They winterized my trailer and took it upon themselves to replace both vent covers, gaskets and all of the associated hardware. When I went to pick up the trailer, the bill was almost $600. I told them I had not asked them to replace the vent covers, etc, they said that they don't call if an expense is under $400.NEVER have Karen's RV do any work for you without a written quote. I will never go back to them again.

Beware- I had Karen s do a wheel bearing on my camper. On my bill I found an additional charge of $40 to inflate two trailer tires to 75 psi. Funny thing is, I inflated the tires to 75 psi prior to going to Karen s. I brought it up and they immediately took the charge off the bill. I wasn t given an explanation for the bogus addition. It was shady and I won t be back.

Did a full roof replacement on my less than one year old Toyhauler and it looks better than Factory. The owner Mike is awesome along with his whole shop. Great people to work with highly recommend them.

Had a awning installed on the side of a cargo trailer. Employees seem very happy and very accommodating. Just charged way too much. Charged me 4 hours of labor to do an 1 1/2 to 2 hour job.Feels like I went to bed with a pretty girl, woke up to her missing, my wallet gone, and an STD. Would never go back or recommend them to anyone. Shop around. We worked too hard for our money to give it away; just because we live in Alaska in no reason to rip people off.

I took my RV in on 15-Jul-2020 to have my back window replaced. I was told it was $150.00 just for the estimate. Chris, the representative said they should have something in a couple weeks. After 2 weeks I called and Chris said he had not got a response yet from the RV manufacturer. He said he would contact them again. I called again on the 06-Aug-2020 and Jeff said that Chris was not available but he would look it up and get right back to me. He didn t. I called again on 07-Aug-2020 only to hear Trevor state that Chris is out and he ordered the wrong part so we will have to start all over again. So this is how Karen s RV stays in business by charging you $150.00 upfront for doing nothing. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.Update: I was contacted by Trevor who apologized for the unsatisfactory service and offered a full refund for the estimate. He also offered to try again, however with temperatures dropping and shipping getting slower I can t take a chance so we are wrapping the RV up for the winter. I may contact Karen s RV in the spring and try again. Increasing rating to 3 stars.Service: Body & Trim

I was in the second month of a 5-month road trip to Alaska with my travel trailer when I had water dripping from the skylight and I was thinking that water got trapped between the roof material and the insulation -- the worst case scenario, of course. I called around to the RV service centers in Anchorage but they couldn't see me for at least a week -- except for Karen's RV. Karen said to come in the next morning when they checked and said that the leak was most likely from the skylight and not caused by water intrusion under the roof material as there was no evidence of it. When you're traveling solo peace of mind is so important, and Karen's RV supplied me with that. Thanks Karen, Chris and John!

I took my RV to them on 6-6-13 for a slide-out problem. They had it for one week and didn't do anything other than write down some numbers and figure out what needed to be ordered. I picked it up one week later with the understanding that they had all the information they needed to get a new gear and or motor on order for the slide out. I followed up with them on 6-24, to see if the parts were in yet. They still did not know what to order, and failed miserably in my opinion. I am very disappointed in their poor service, failure to follow up with me, and the fact that it sat there for a week so they could write down VIN and serial numbers that obviously did them no good anyway. They claimed that no one can tell them what brand of gear or motor is on the slide out, well they had the thing for a week, why didn't they simply take it apart, measure the gear and order one? They are very incompetent for serious repairs, perhaps they can fix a leaky faucet or something easy, but if you have a semi major repair, look for a better shop.

Terrible service. Company promises and commits to work. They complete nothing. What little they did was done wrong. I am surprised my rig made it through the winter. Not sure if owners have changed or what. I wouldn't bring anywhere rv to them if it was the last place in town. If you want parts go to the nice little shop in wasilla off trunk road roundabout. If you need body work go to glacier auto in eagle river. I think performance rv will be good to winterize. I wouldn't trust Karen's again. They will not be getting a second chance.

Traveling to Alaska and our rv developed an electrical issue. Several stops at repair shops along the way with mixed results until Karen's RV. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a reasonable price. Thanks guys for an awesome job!

I've been there twice, both times I have been treated like I'm the best customer they ever had. The employee's smile and everyone seems knowledgeable, Karen's RV is my new go-to service and RV parts stop.

Called to inquire about a winterization of the RV. The person I spoke with sighed and acted like they were bothered that I was calling. Brush me aside as quickly as possible. I'll never do business with them. Why is it so damned hard to find good customer service in this area!
