DTS is one of only a couple specialists in the area, they had a full shop and plenty of work, and they still went above and beyond to help me out of a jam with my 6.4 Powerstroke extremely quickly. The crew was very helpful and willing to go out of the way to take care of me through the whole process. The owner is very knowledgeable, open, and honest with advice even when it doesn't benefit the business directly. He and some of his crew were working late on a Friday to get people taken care of, and it still came in under the original estimate. He didn't try to upsell anything, went out of his way to accommodate my oversized vehicle, and gave sound advice on work I should get done in the future, even though I do not live in the area and wouldn't be getting it done with him. I would absolutely recommend this shop, especially if you have one of the famously picky newer Powerstrokes.

Honest, Experienced, Professional!Sean Foley and his team are some of the BEST DIESEL specialists I've ever encountered! I had been traveling across the country from Houston, TX in my truck camper and had many dealings with auto repair shops along the way who all claimed to be able to work on diesel trucks. Sadly, not all "diesel mechanics" actually know anything about diesel trucks and I could no longer afford to bleed money for inaccurate and subpar auto repairs! These guys have the knowledge and experience to custom build a whole diesel truck from bumper to bumper, if you needed. It wasn't until I met Sean, that I finally received the honest truth that the cost to fix the truck would be more than it was worth. In fact, I probably wouldn't have made it very far on my journey home and would have probably been stuck in the Yukon somewhere looking for a new engine.Sean saw that I was in a bind and actually took the time out of his extremely busy schedule to assist me in finding a replacement so that I could get back home. Thankfully, he was able to get me an UNBELIEVABLE DEAL for one of his trucks, in order to get me back on the road. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that I was taken care of and was completely thorough and professional through the whole process. I ended up leaving with a 2006 F250 that the shop outfitted to be able to mount my camper on, along with the confidence that I will be able to continue my road trip back to the lower 48 SAFELY.It has truly been a blessing to have stumbled upon Sean Foley and he has definitely paid it forward with his efforts! Eternally Grateful!

I had some work done to my 1996 power stroke. I have never had bad service and will not go to another shop. Keep up the great service and they stand behind there work. Thank you Sean Foley.

If you re looking for a shop that will unhurriedly throw parts at a problem with no attempt at diagnostics, this is the place for you!2007 Duramax with intermittent Service Brake System warning message and lit ABS and Brake dash lights. Said they couldn t read a code (it was in the historical record when I got home to my reader) and replaced a wheel speed sensor. Second time in, the next week, they said they couldn t reproduce the problem even after I told them exactly how to do it (change the fan speed setting.) One of the owners scolded me for being there 15 minutes past closing when I arrived 45 minutes before the closing time shown on their website.Third time in, a couple weeks later when I could spare the truck, I took the dash apart myself, found a smoked pin on the connector to the fan speed selector, left everything open and dropped it off with a specific request to not just replace parts, because they are all expensive and I could do that; I am looking for diagnostic help, not just parts swaps. I purposefully waited to drop it off until they had time to attend to it immediately. They proceeded to keep it for four days and, after telling me there was no way to diagnose independent parts of the system, replaced three fan system parts, billed 2.5 hrs labor and charged me $1,100. The problem recurred before I had 50 miles on the truck. But hey, at least I got a mismatched dash component for only $513!I d like to like this business but they re just not leaving me much to work with here. I m giving them the second star because at least I was able to get my truck back before weekends and the alignment they did after installing tie rod ends is almost straight.

My truck broke down while in Anchorage. I called everywhere and everyone was booked out 2-6 weeks. This shop diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly. I felt the price for work and parts was very reasonable. When I picked up my rig it was left clean, no greasy hand prints on the fenders, and they had cleaned the engine bay. They saved me down time which is important to me because I use my truck for my new business and had clients lined up.

I live on the road. I drove to Alaska from Chicago in my van. My brakes start grinding. I come in last minute, on a Monday no less and they squeezed me into their busy schedule. By the end of the day they removed a lodged rock and got me riding on brand new tires. Thanks to Diamond Truck Service I didn t have to sacrifice my time sensitive travel plans. Their guys stayed late to make sure I could get back on the road. Great service and quality work.

I had to get a starter and abs sensor replaced on my pickup truck. Diamond Truck Services was able to get my truck in within a week. They also had my truck ready within three days. Excellent service and turnaround time for under $1000. I'll be going to Diamond Truck Services exclusively from now on. If I could give this shop 6 stars I would.

Called them late in the afternoon Thursday for a Cel on a company vehicle. They got me in the next day repaired and on the road by 1pm. This all happened after getting fed up waiting for the ford dealership for 4 weeks ( 3 weeks waiting for the appointment and 1 week for them to have the vehicle and not even look at it). Definitely will be bringing it to this shop again and NOT the dealership. Thank you guys for your awesome customer service!!

I recently purchased a very nice freshly Bulletproofed F250 by Sean Foley at Diamond Truck Services, I can honestly say I have not felt more confident in a vehicle purchase! He went way above and beyond to give me every detail on the truck, and had it set up the way I requested before I even got to Anchorage to see it, he worked with me on every detail on arrangements and was very courteous and professional!I would recommend them to anyone for repair, or purchase!Thank You for your honesty and great service!!

My truck s wipers totally quit nearby this shop. Sean graciously agreed to fit the truck into his schedule on that rainy day. They did the repairs quickly and price was fine. Highly recommended. Wonderful Anchorage hospitality.

Had the water pump fail on my 15 Ram 3500 the Monday before thanksgiving and Diamond Truck Service was able to get me back on the road before the holiday weekend. These guys went above and beyond my expectations and did an excellent job. 10/10 would recommend to take any diesel truck to them for service or repairs. Best in town.

If you have a 6.0 Powerstroke and need anything done. Take your truck here. Trust me you won t regret it. Let me start by saying I was in the market for a new truck and found one I liked. I looked it over but decided since I was new to owning a newer diesel and did not know much about 6.0s I would take it to someone who works on them and knows them well. So I went to Facebook to see a shop that was reputable around anchorage and his shop was what almost everyone recommended so I decided to have the truck looked at here. Let me tell you man am I glad I did. Sean saved me almost 30000 dollars I would have had to throw down for that truck. (The price of the truck plus repairs that it needed to be good to drive). He did happen to have one that he was selling for a good price that he had just had redone that was almost the same exact truck minus color so I picked that one up from him. Even after buying the truck I had a couple small issues and instead of telling me that I bought it and to deal with it. He has put forth the extra effort to fix them for me. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a shop to do anything they need done to their truck.

Overall, they did decent work, I think, so I gave them an extra star. However, I left feeling slighted by DTS.My truck lost power, and so I brought it in for them to diagnose it, and they came back with a long list of problems, only one of which was a possible reason for the loss of power. They estimated me a range of what it would cost to fix it, but also gave me the option of just rebuilding the engine (although it wasn't necessary), which would give them an extra $12-15,000 in their pockets, so they really wanted me to have them rebuild it. I talked to other experts who told me that I had other options for the work, so I ultimately decided that it probably wasn't a great idea to do it with them. I opted to just have them fix the problems, and get it back on the road. When I went to pick up my truck, it cost even more than the highest price on their estimate!! :( Oh, and they hadn't fixed anything else on their diagnostic list, just the one thing, which I thought they waaaaay over charged me for. Although my power issue did get mostly fixed (though the truck now has other little things that it never had before, so I'm not sure), they scratched my grill (my truck is a little tricky to open the hood, so they obviously used some tool, and scratched it in so doing), and I felt that they gouged me on pricing, just to prove a point that I should have paid them the thousands of dollars extra to have them do something that wasn't necessary at the time. My truck is now also doing things that it wasn't doing before I brought it to them, so I'm not sure if they didn't sabotage it in some way...Thoughts:These guys are very proud of their work, and will charge you more than they estimate. Maybe it's the best work around. I couldn't say, since I'm still new to the area, but I doubt it.Don't waste your money having them diagnose it. Not even sure why they did (and charged me nearly $300 for it), when they didn't fix any of it, nor were the problems they "fixed" listed on their diagnosis, or apparently included in their estimate. If you don't know what's wrong with it already, maybe bring it somewhere else first. They claim to be experts on diesels, but they apparently encountered things they didn't know about. If you bring your vehicle to them, either trust them explicitly, and be prepared to pay out the nose for whatever they do, or expect them to be a little fishy on the deal if you choose to do something else.... and also still pay out the nose.

Sean s shop worked on my 2005 6.0 PSD a few weeks ago after I attempted a rebuild and complete Bullet Proof that went sideways on me. They were great to work with, helping me out with some of the things I didn t do exactly right and helped me get back on the road. I ve ran it close to 400 miles and it s running great! DTS did a great job, got me back on the road quickly and their rates were affordable for the work done. Can t thank Diamond Truck Service enough!

Running a business out of a truck is tricky, no truck means no business. With that being said we need the best diesel mechanic shop we can get. Diamond truck services has gone above and beyond for us MANY times! From after hours help, to fixing a custome clutch within a day, and most recently all we needed an oil change on short notice in a tight schedule and noticed some shaking while driving so asked if they could check the tires... they discovered we had a blow out but because the other tire was holding the weight up we had no idea. They got the oil changed AND hunted down a tire for us and got it installed within enough time for us to make it to our next scheduled job. They are amazing & I would recommend them any day.

Sean and his team tackled a lot of work on a tight timeline. I've waited about a month to post a review, as I've had a few shops do substandard work that has damaged driveline and steering components and nearly killed me and/or my wallet. This was not one of those shops. Ball joints, control arm bushing rebuild, front diff recon, injectors throwing codes and a warped head gasket. She's been a good truck but was showing her age. 5 days later she's better than she's ever been: seriously the cleanest that engine bay has ever been, suspension about as buttery as an HD live front axle will ever be and rocking 22 mpg on the highway on 33s. Definitely will be a repeat customer, hopefully not anytime soon.

What can I say, the guys at DTS did a awesome job on my truck.i generally don't let people work on my truck because of how mitculas I am with it,but sometimes I or my shop ain't got the time to do it,never once had to call for a update(was updated in a very timely manner, and even worked on a day in which they were closed ). I HIGHLY recommend this shop proudly serving the anchorage and surrounding areas for all of your diesel needs

these guys went above and beyond when i blew a head gasket on the cummins. great customer service and I was well taken care of. i went back to do a quick re-torque of the new head studs and because of the compound set up it was not and easy task. they again took great care of me and are a top notch team.

Just got my truck back from DC 907 diesel. My 6.0 had been condemned by Diamond truck services. DC did the EGR delete. $1,550.00 was all it cost me. She drove like a dream back to anchorage, from the valley. All Diamond wanted to do was get my truck for $1000.00 and sell me another one for $8,000.00. Watch out for this one.

Forgot to write a review months ago after the last time I brought my truck in. Honest dudes, good service. Did their best to get my truck back to me as soon as possible despite low manning of the shop that week. Definitely recommend these guys.

Very happy with the the work performed (front end reconditioning F250, oil leak repair and routine service). Customer service is top notch and even though any super duty repair tends to be painful, I felt the pricing was fair. This will definitely be my go to shop.
