!!!Do Not Go. !!!Went in to get my thermostat replaced I new that was the issue after I used a code reader. I did an early morning drop off and received no call all day I called at 4 and he said they where already working on it. NO QUOTE. or information at all. (I have other option but wanted to check out a neighborhood small business)Called 10 min before they closed and was kirtly told they weren't gonna finish . Fine . Called again today 2/16/24 at 2pm Mike said it was done he just needed to do the paperwork.3 hrs labor for a thermostat?!?$750 no absolutely notI questioned him and he quickly went on the defensive and raising his voice and told me he was justgonna charge me parts and to get out and never come back. NO PROBLEM BUD. Ended up paying 266 for a thermostat which is more like what it should be.TLDR: SCAMMERS.

Nathan sold a RV from the business lot that was in far worse condition than he indicated, including a cut-off catalytic converter. He and his dad would do nothing to make the situation right. I won't trust them with any business and felt it would be good for others to know of this experience.

Friendly, reliable and trustworthy auto service. Came in for an oil change. They got it done in 30 mins and didn t find any other issues with my car. Would recommend.

Nathan was really cool, I asked about a set of tires and he had them on the next day. He also did an oil change, all under 30 mins. It was a pleasant experience.

Don't do it. They incredibly disorganized, they flat out refuse to schedule appointments and they have no problem closing at the drop of a hat. No joke: they literally closed earlier this week because they were having new gas pumps put in and there was no room for parking because the guys who were installing them were taking up all the customer parking. They have a massive parking lot behind their shop, they didn't even think to ask the workers to park around the back. Once, they randomly shut down for a week because of "mechanic training" but didn't bother to put up a sign. Another time, I dropped off my car for a headlight change, they held on to my car for 4 days and never could figure out how to change it.....I'm serious, these idiots held my car for days and still did NOTHING. They also tell you different hours and different policies depending on who answers the phone. I told the owner about this, Mike, and asked him to clarify. He told me one set of hours, I called two days later to see if I could drop my car off and the guy who answered the phone....you guessed it, gave me a differing set of hours and when I told him what Mike said, he said "I highly doubt he said that". Unfortunately, you are at the mercy of whoever answers the phone.Their whole system is backwards and extremely unreliable. I miss when it was owned by Sandlake auto. I highly doubt this "business" will last much longer. It's set up like a bunch of dudes working in their neighbors driveway, not a legitimate company. I have since found a FAR better mechanic and am extremely happy with them.

Live in the neighborhood close to this shop so we decided to support small local business and took it to Mike's for the first time to get my Winter tires put on Dec 2020. At the time I noted that the priced was almost 20.00 more than the average Tire-Change over price but I figured because it was a small shop they had to charge a little more.To get them switched over to Summer I recently went to my usual shop and discovered almost every Lug Nut was either half stripped or loose, and FOUR were actually missing. These were brand new tires. I had to replace the lugs. My mechanic told me whoever put the Winter tires on did this damage and clearly either didn't know what he was doing or just didn't do a good job.I'm salty enough to pay extra for the Lugs, but I also wanted to write a review to warn others to keep an eye on their Tire work if this use this shop. This could have been a DANGEROUS situation for me.

Have lived in the neighborhood for years, before my last issue I would always recommend this shop.I asked if I could pay over the phone as my husband left me with his number to do this while he was at work. It makes no sense that I was told to bring in the card as it could have just as well been stollen because when I have paid for services nothing was inspected on my other card I used.

They always get my tires changed quickly and try to accommodate for appointment times. They don't make you wait all day to get your car back- usually only 20 minutes. They let me store my tires there overnight too, locked up.

Do not go... Do not go.... I was screamed by the owner and his staffI was trying to ask a question by tooted my horn. OMG the owner ran out of the building and started screaming at ME !!! Get off my lot.I tried to explain that I only needed a question answered. He was really hostile and fuming because I tooted my horn to get his employees attention!!! I was very cold outside. I meant no harm at all. I was verbally attacked by Mike and his staff. I will never go back to that place. They should get a Zero for how the way they treated a female customer, who simply was trying to as a question.

Car was shaking so I brought it in to Mike's. He told me my rims were bent and I needed new rims. He put weight on the rims and said he balanced them. When I brought them to alaska tire and rim they showed me that the rims were fine and that the tires were bad. Mike obviously doesnt KNOW WHAT HES DOING. DO NOT TRUST mike.

I walked in the shop and no b.s., it smelled rank like dog dump...the 2 bozos that were supposed to have my oil changed an hour prior were looking at a Penthouse magazine. I was in the waiting room and it was taking forever so thats when i opened the door to the shop part and startled them big time looking at the magazine. Very unprofessional. Since Little Mike took over its been nothing but the squirts.

They are good. They fixed a flat tire cheaply when the other big shop told me I need change all tires because it s AWD and it s safe. No way.

I went to Big Mike's today to get my tires changed over and it was a wonderful experience. They are an affordable and kind mom and pops shop and I will be a return customer there.

Love the people here, Kevin who works at the shop is an awesome person, Big Mike is such a people person and his wife is a sweetheart. Ive been coming here for years and i wont go anywhere else. Thanks guys for everything, keep it up.

Being from out of town, I was a bit leary of a small garage. Boy was I wrong! Best people! Fast and wanting to please. Don't hesitate to give them a chance to help with your wrenching needs!

I did tires change 10/26/16 at TesoroJewel lake 99502I noticed that left front tires sensor is not work,tell Mike new owner He said he will take a lookBack on 10/28/16 he didn't see yethe blamed cause tires pressure I requestedJust to avoid responsibilityAfter he check he said just need toreset and his technician tried 15 minutes and the result is display in dashboard mess up and the problem still thereNow he blamed system in dashboardneed to fix it,he broke itIt was all goodCame to Mike and he saidI don't know you need to fix systemin dashboardI said are you not responsible to fix it?He said ..........yes I am not responsiblethank you and don't come again in frontof four his employeeHow rude is he,how bad customer serviceLast owner I changed 5 cars every yearfor many years I never had any problem and great customer serviceThis new owner show that only himhas business tires changes in AnchorageCause he said to meI am not responsible thank you and don't come back againJust carefull with this new ownerhe broke it he won't responsibleto fix it he will say thank you don't come back againI will file a complaint to BBB and other agencyThanks Mike I won't come back again

Never in my life have I been treated so unkindly or so rudely. If I could give negative stars it would be -5. The owner yelled at me for just asking for help. So sad.
