I had a very frustrating experience with AutoZone on Old Seward Highway. I brought my battery in to be charged and tested, and was told to come back after an hour. However, when I returned a few hours later, there had been a shift change and the new staff had no idea what was going on with my battery. They said they would have to charge and test it again before they could give me any information.I left and later received a call saying that my battery was bad. So, I decided to order a new one over the phone. Unfortunately, the store didn't have the battery in stock and had to bring it from another location. I told them I would come the next day to pick it up. Next day, before heading to AutoZone, I decided to call and check. To my dismay, the same person who answered the phone couldn't find my new battery or explain what had happened to it.It is extremely frustrating when a business doesn't communicate with the customer about their order. I would have understood if the person had made a mistake, but saying they don't know is unacceptable. The only reason I continue to use this place is because of one employee named Masi. He is always helpful and goes out of his way to assist me with any issues I have. However, on my last two trips, he wasn't there, and I don't plan on going back to AutoZone if he is not there.

Small, tucked away store, but very friendly and nice people. The man behind the counter, cashing me out, also saved me money through ensuring I didn't buy similar products, when I only needed one.

On March 12, 2024. I entered the store on old Seward. The Nicest very professional with much knowledge Store Manager began to assist me.If I m not mistaken his name was Mr. Massive Newson.There s nothing like good customer service I want to thank AutoZone for every time I come there I find great employees and this gentleman went over the top thank you, Mr. Newsome.Sharone T

The main store Manager, Monica, was extremely rude, and not cooperative with hardly any customer, and thought she was smart and correct with her information, as well. Not recommended to deal with, or come to this store.

Provided the best solution for my battery s longevity. I love the trickle charger they recommended. The brand allows me to safely close my hood while charging without compromising my battery health. My car has a parasitic draw that has eluded all mechanics. The trickle charger ensures my year old battery stays charged, avoiding damaging jumps.

I love this store. I used to live near here and they were my go-to. I like to do the repairs and maintenance myself when I can. When I moved to another part of town I ended up going to NAPA since they were closer. I was replacing a headlight on a particularly cold day and was having trouble getting the old one off. I asked NAPA if the assist with replacing the part and they said no. So I returned the part and went across town to buy it here. AutoZone offered more selections to me along with the assistance to get the light replaced. I am very happy and will always drive out of the way to support this store.

I only gave this place a 3 star rating for the simple fact that they don't carry some of the simplest parts that you may need for your vehicle. If your vehicle is more than a few years old, you may be out of luck. However, all in all, it's still a pretty good place to go for your automotive needs.

We were looking for a trickle charger. The cashier didn't know what we needed but one of the guys in the back knew exactly what we needed and even recommended a couple different brands instead of just one to give us some options. Really liked how informative he was.

STAY AWAY. WILL NOT COMPLETE ONLINE ORDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL NOT REFUND ONLINE ORDERS!!!! ORDER ON ROCKAUTO!!!!!!! Ordered an AC compressor bearing and hardware kit. Was charged 27 dollars for same-day delivery and they delivered a package of O-Rings ONLY!!!!! Attempted to call the store the worker said he could not help me and Id have to call corporate. So I have paid for both parts received none and paid the full bill. ORDER NUMBER: #6106336041070923. Good way to steal 100$ from a customer and give them nothing.

It was a quick in and out of store. The 3M trim adhesive tape location was intuitive. It took a longer time to get a supervisor approval for a discount.

I had a TERRIBLE experience here. I purchased a battery jumper online. When I called to see if my order was ready after it was transferred from the Eagle River location, they could not find it because it was sold to somebody else even though it had my name on it. I gave them my order number, they couldn't find it. The woman I was on the phone with didn't believe me and I had me bring the receipt in person for her to 'double-check' I was at the right location. She was also reluctant to give me a refund even though I asked for one. Luckily, the Eagle River location had only one more of these jumpers in stock and they were able to get it transferred over. It was a pain. They made me feel like I was in the wrong instead of them. Overall, staff was rude. Only giving 1 star since they had a battery jumper that Batteries Plus didn't, otherwise 0 stars. I should've listened to my coworkers when they said "DON'T GO THERE". I don't ever write reviews, but I had to for this one.

Bought a box of car seat covers for my truck. Unfortunately, I wasn t able to put them on. I returned them to Richard at the Old Seward location. He was so kind and had me locate the emailed receipt in my phone and taaa-daaa Richard processed the refund back to my card eeezzzy peeezzzey!!

Great place for buying whatever you need for car's , trucks , vans RVs motorcycles . Tool's , audio and much more. Go by and look . The place is so well like at times there's a wait time no matter what I rather spend my money on premium parts with life time warranty if it breaks , Ware's out and causes further damage your covered . Check out there policy's . Just spent $800-$1000 last month on tool's , part's electronics (code readers , multi testers) to help myself and my daughters mom her truck broke 2 day's after my Van. She's back on the road again , not so good for me . Everything is wonderful had to pick up some bulb's for the rear brake light on the driver's side so I and my passengers are safe. Great job and team there in and out

Staff was friendly and helpful. Got the alternator quickly and was very professional. I would recommend them to others. I will be back when I need anything else for my sub. Should have gotten battery there, as they quote actual prices, unlike a battery speciality shop which mislead customers to get business. THANKS AutoZone. I will be back again

I don't recommend purchasing a battery from them. You will be back in a year for a warranty replacement. Three stars for their customer service and warranty (mostly). Staff is usually very helpful.

Best price in town on the parts I am looking for. Order ahead, pickup in store. Easy return, receipt in your email, contact less payment. Only conMcLain, long line in the front, one counter person, 3 people in the back wandering around instead of helping the poor girl at the counter all alone.

So MANAGER won't pull my receipt up by my phone number or the card I used... but to do a return I AM REQUIRED to give a phone number and full name...To return something still in the packaging, WITH RECEIPT, that I bought 30 minutes ago.... some EXTREMELY double standards from Autozone. "We won't help you, but we will harvest your info to sell".... not coming here anymore.

4700 Old Seward Highway. Not accessible for wheelchair or handicap with 2 feet of snow to climb over to get to the door. Parking lot snow was plowed towards door and nobody shoveled a pathway to the store. Will have to shop elsewhere for my parts until this is fixed. They have had weeks since the storms to shovel one pathway to accommodate the disabled. Shame on them for not looking out for disabled vets.

I wish I could give zero stars! I came in late to the storeand was greeted by Morgan and told the store was closing in 5 minutes and they had a line. I asked if I could get one thing; she left me standing outside all huffy and puffy. I entered and asked if I could get the one thing I needed. I didn't know the size of the star wrench I needed she approached me and asked me if I needed help in which I told her yes I don't know what size she got upset huffed her way to her computer and told me how I'm wasting her time and she can't help me if I didn't know what I needed. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

Autozone Muldoon is bad! MASSIE the person that helped me , did not have a clue as to what he had to do. I needed a battery, and they did not have one, however Wasilla did and he asked a hub driver if they had a later run after 3pm and he said yes, by 7pm I had not heard from them so called again and whoever er answered said there was no late run ugh!! Wasted 4 hours waiting, so ended up going to Napa!!
