Wow! One of the first Alaskan companies that has it all. They answered their phone, I gave them my tire size and vehicle info and then they gave me options. Then to top it off they were the cheapest by far and scheduled me in same day! Kudos I will definitely be back.

When I tell you, they fixed my flat tire within 20 minutes! I called and they happened to have an appointment within the hour. I showed up early, they got me in early, and instead of dropping off my car, I waited a total of no more than 20 minutes for it to be done. I m so grateful these people are here and will definitely be calling IF this issue happens again.

These guys are so nice. I messed up this year and didn t change my tires in time and I been patiently waiting to get an appointment. My daughter enjoyed looking at all the tires in the lobby. I have a small car too I have to special order the battery. This is the only tire shop I was able to get studded tires for my car. And I m loyal so I recommend this place to friends family and myself.

We buy all of our tires here, winter and summer. Get the road hazard coverage. Has paid for itself on every set. The staff is great, friendly and fast. I had a nail fixed this week and they went over the top on the service, and even threw in a kickass valve cover

Great customer service and honest Abe mechanics. Here s the story.Military here. Just moved here and went to Lithia Kia to get my car checked. Said I had 30% left on my brakes. It has 33k miles on the car. Should get them changed I m told. Also they tried to get me scheduled. I declined.Moving onto the Alaska Tire Service. Bought new tires from them (Amazing all weather firestones for reasonable price) and scheduled a break appointment.Wayne, a mechanic there and Veteran called me and told me I ve been fooled. Brakes are at 80% and his words, I had to call ya. This would be stealing your money. Honest man. Great people. Reasonable price. Don t second guess this place. Just go. Won t be disappointed. Thanks Wayne!Kick rocks Lithia Kia!!

Had a flat tire, they told me it would take 30-45 minutes, it took like 15, they re quick, and fairly priced, and all of them are very respectful, if you have anything wrong with your tires this is the place to go to for sure. I will be coming back if needed.

So I went in to try to make an appointment. They said we're booked call at 8 am the next business day. Do you know how many days I've been waking up before 8 so I can call right at 8 o'clock. And every time I call, I still get the recording saying they're full. So how is that??? How are you booked for the next two days in less than a minute?

I had a flat tire today and drove into Alaska Tire Service at 4pm and they were so nice and got me right in even tho they were slammed with the tire change overs this time of year. The service was professional and technicians were friendly. It s nice to have small town service in a big city!

Brought brand new tires in to have them installed and balanced on my car. I called them as soon as they opened and scheduled an appointment for 10 AM. I ended up dropping it off at 9:15, and they had it done before 10. And, even though I was over an hour late to pick it up, they kept it in their shop to keep it warm. They did a good job, and they did it incredibly quickly, and it wasn't even expensive. Would give more then 5 stars if I could, these guys did an amazing job and have gained a loyal customer.

Came in last minute and got a complete tire replacement with an awesome recommendation. They were fast and super friendly. I recommend anyone needing tires come here!

Y all, I cannot sing enough praises for this place. After I drove 9 days from Tennessee to Alaska, I woke up to a low tire. Alaska Tire Service took care of my low tire, found the nail, patched it up and had me back on the road in less than an hour. Ian was extremely helpful and the customer service was excellent!Highly recommend this place!

I like the "make appointment the day before" policy. They make sure you are not waiting long. They are reasonably priced. And their employees are respectful.

Very polite staff and quick service. I have use Alaska Tire the last couple season to get my tires moved over and it went great. They allow you to call ahead and make an appointment (be sure to call the day before early in the morning as they only allow appointment one day in advance). I showed up early to my appointment and they got me in right away. Will definitely return

I took in my CR-V last week to have a tire patched. The entire staff was friendly, but Jeremy stood out the most. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor was a breath of fresh air. Kudos to Alaska Tire Service for hiring him.

I had an expensive noise in my brakes and I went to Alaska Tire Service - they were friendly, courteous and squeezed me in to check out my car and fix it! I did not have an appointment but they accommodated me. I really appreciate having a place like this close by. It is so nice to have a personal, friendly neighborhood business.

Excellent services and reasonable prices. I booked an appointment for new wheels + studded winter tire purchases & installations. In the initial appointment, there was some miscommunication issues so I had to book a 2nd appointment. The management was very understanding, not only they did correct the issues but they also were very professional throughout.If you have issues or not happy with the service, I would recommend to discuss with the management before leaving any bad feedback. In my cases, they really tried to resolve my issues professionally.This place is packed all the time, that shows how excellent customer services go a long way. The staffs working on my car were pretty transparent as well. They called me every time they have something to discuss. They never go ahead or decide anything without your approvals then up-charge you like other shops I have been to.Highly recommend this place and I will recommend this shop to all my friends and families to exclusively go here for their tire service needs.

Five stars for Alaska Tire Service on Dimond! I needed my studs changed out and new tires. I found great tires for a great price on their website before my appointment. When the day came, I had to bring my three year old with me. We hung out in the parking lot and blew bubbles and had a picnic while we waited. They were fast, and offered help as I loaded my toddler and all of our things back into the car. The guys even provided some bubble entertainment for my son as we got situated in the car. Thanks for a great customer service experience!

They were really great. We just moved back to Alaska and they were the only place that had tires for our vehicle with studs. So we kind of had to go there. But they were so friendly. They got us in immediately, we're very friendly, and had a lot of perks with the tires. They offer free rotation and balancing for life with the tire. And had a really cheap affordable protection plan. So if the tires pop they'll repair it for us. My father recommended this place and he has had nothing but success in great situations at the store.

SHORT STORY: the mechanics at this shop are either extremely incompetent or i was blatantly lied to by their staff so that they could make a buck.LONG STORY: I took my car here to get my tires changed from Summer to winter. I was only in anchorage for 4 days working 9-5 before driving down to Homer, which didn t leave me much wiggle room when Ian called me and told me i needed FOUR new tires because two wouldn t hold air and were damaged to the bead and that no other shop in anchorage had used ones in the size my car needed. I had no choice but to purchase new ones. Ian showed me the damaged tires when i picked them up, but since i didn t know much about car tires i took his word for it that the damage he showed me was the culprit. bad mistake.I took the damaged winter tires to the shop that did the last changeout in the spring (in Homer) and the mechanic took one look and said they were absolutely fine and that there s no reason the tires should not have been put on my car. the homer shop made me a priority and put the tires on WITHOUT ISSUE. i was now out $750 and a fat headache for a tire change that should ve taken a couple hours at most.the only positive thing i have to say is that the ladies in the office made it fairly easy to get my money back for the new tires i was wrongly sold. they were friendly and cooperative. but unfortunately that doesn t make up for the fact that this establishment seems dishonest because of what happened.

I have used this shop multiple times, and they have ALWAYS found the issue and fixed my tires. This even as others at places like a dealership repeatedly tell me no issue. Grest folks and Team at ATS Dimond!

Jeff is wonderful! The staff is friendly and efficient. Called this business due to other places wanting to sell everything other than what I needed and not answering my questions to which tires were squeaking (even after paying for a diagnostic). Brought my car in to Alaska Tire Service after calling and speaking to Jeff. (I was already at my breaking point) I was lucky and got an appointment the next day. While I got a free diagnostic, it turns out my back wheels were squeaking and my brake pads/rotors needed to be replaced. I decided to get all of them replaced. Went in and it was all done in a timely matter. Would recommend to anyone for any tire/brake needs. They get the job done without trying to scam or charge you an arm and a leg. If you need an honest and reliable company come here! Now I can safely drive again without hearing squeaky tires in my dreams. Can t thank you guys enough!!

Ok service. Quick, no frills which is fine for last minute getting a project done. Didn t fill my spare after replacing it with my regular tire though I requested getting the spare up to adequate PSI. I d go back if in a pinch but wouldn t make it my go to spot.

I used to love bringing my car into Alaska Tire for seasonal changeover. It was quick and convenient. However, with the popularity of the shop, there is longer wait times. It is NOT CONVENIENT and it is becoming more unappreciative of its clients time. Why schedule an appointment if you don t get my car in for an hour after my appointment time. If I scheduled an appointment with my doctor, hairdresser, or any other service provider I WOULD NEVER wait an hour in the waiting room. This is common courtesy, don t make an appointment that you cannot keep. It s unprofessional regardless of how busy you are.You have the choice to honor appointment times. Try creating systems that allow you to offer the services you are providing appointment times for or reduce the amount of appointments you make in a day. This reflects that your business values money over customer appreciation.

These guys (and girls) are the best. You can schedule a specific tire change appointment time one day ahead, and they get you in right on time. They do fast changeovers, charge fairly, and have excellent customer service. More than once they've gone above and beyond for me. I couldn't recommend them more highly!
