AMDS is the only dealership in Alaska I will ever go to to buy anything from any dealership ever again. They have the best customer service I ve had. Had money down on a sled at Team CC in wasila they kept giving me bad customer service, as well as the fact they never pick up the phone. AMDS picks up every single time and are helpful ever single time. I had Don Rathbun from sales but every single person in that dealer is awesome. Wish I could give them more stars!

Good dealership, much better than team cc in Wasilla, I bought my sled at amds and wife's at Team cc, so I know the difference. Would recommend AMDS. They are not perfect, of course, but one of the best in AK

The service at this shop is amazing. I bought a new to me 2023 sled and after one week of owning it it wouldn't start. I brought it to AMDS and they were awesome! Great customer service, awesome shop, neat new toys to look at. Turned out the ECM was defective. AMDS diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 10 days and I am back to riding. They welcomed me to the BRP family with style. Thanks guys for looking after me!

Purchased my second machine here. Robby was awesome as always. Took the family out for a break in run as soon as we got it home. I will be purchasing all my machines here as it s not worth the time to look anywhere else.

Incredible service from start to finish with AMDS. Knowledgeable and friendly staff made everything from snow-checking in the spring to picking up my new Ski-Doo this fall a breeze. I would recommend AMDS to anyone looking to acquire a new snow-machine, ATV, UTV, boat or any other equipment you might need to explore the last frontier.

AMDS has been extremely helpful the past two years. My dad and I bought our first brand new sleds here, Robby has been extremely helpful and has fulfilled all of our questions with expertise and patience. Looking forward to buying a new sled here again in the future! I would not go to anyone else in Alaska.

I truly can't say enough about these guys. I purchased my first snow machine from them and I have never had such a smooth experience. First off, Don was very informative and extremely laid back. He wasn't pushy and listened to what I wanted and I got what I wanted. Jeff, who handled the financing was also one of the nicest people ever. No shady business, no being pushy. It was all extremely smooth and not something I am super accustomed to. I will never go anywhere else for my snow machines. The best service ever

I went looking at a Can-Am motorcycle and Garry was fantastic help! Knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled, he had me approved for a loan in less than an hour and on the road on my 2020 CanAm Ryker 600 within the next hour. Ask for him!

I spring checked a snowmachine from AMDS this year and could not be happier with the customer service I received. AJ assisted me throughout the selection and ordering process. He gave valuable insights that helped me pick the right machine. He was also extremely patient and helpful with financing as well. All in all I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle through AMDS.

They have lots of dredges and other equipment and much much more, very well staffed and the best prices I have seen in AK it is competitive with the lower 48 stores which is amazing!

I love Alaska Mining and Diving I am a hardcore snowmachine , and that's where I get my fix.... they take care of me, I dropped my sled off for repairs Monday picked it up Wednesday you guys rock..... Ski-Doo and Bombardier forever.. if you own a Polaris or Arctic Cat or a Yamaha , get a clue and get with a winning team

Placed a snow check order for two 2023 Ski Doo Expedition Extremes, and had the whole deal jandle by AJ. I can't say how easy and orginized the whole deal was. They came in with a price cheaper then others we had looked into, and made the build a breeze by assisting us online with set up. Once the machines showed up, we set a time to pick them up and AJ had the machines and all their equipment sitting out and ready to be loaded up. They had already been PDI, and cleaned.This has been our second time purchasing from AMD, and the second time it went swell! Would recommend these guys all day long!

Overpriced already, so you would think they would have customer service figured out since the markup is so ridiculous. The parts department didn't call when my items were in. I had to call and check and waddyaknow they were there. I show up to pick them up and after waiting 30 minutes they can only find 2 out of 3 items. They must be new at selling things to customers. They refund me and re-order my part and tell me it will be another 4 weeks. I leave, they call me 30 minutes later to say they now found my part, and ask if I mind coming back again. I say I already wasted a big chunk of my day, so I would appreciate it if they ship it to me instead since they've already inconvenienced me. 2 months later, still no part, so now I have to call again, make sure they have it at the counter, and make another trip to pick up the thing I first ordered in March. Unbelievable how much this place sucks. Will use Team CC from now on. Avoid this place like the plague.

Great experience with AMDS! The customer service is amazing! From a female perspective I really appreciated Don speaking and explaining things to me and not just my husband when we picked up our new sleds. We have dealt with service/parts and sales and all have been excellent.

Quick summary: It's a fantastic place for any mining and diving needs with great customer service, knowledge and experience. I'm happy we decided to visit to see if they had any gold panning equipment(and they do). It will be the first place I go to for any mining supplies, and so far enjoyed going every time.We went out hoping to find a place that sells decent gold pans for a panning trip, and after a few stores we ended up at Alaska Mining and Diving. To be honest, anytime I saw the store I always assumed it was a place for commercial gear, but we decided that it might have some consumer grade items. Though after we went inside, we saw a large diverse rack of pans and right there knew we were in the perfect place.When we got there, none of us knew what we were really doing, and we kind of just stood there star struck staring at the items and tools. That's when Bryan appeared; probably noticed how lost we all were. As you probably seen from the other reviews he's a standup guy, and from personal experience, he really is. Very knowledgeable, highly experienced and exceedingly personable. To say the least, he showed us the way to the prospectors life. Showed us what we needed to start our journey and hyped us up to new levels from tales of his own prospecting experience.After the trip a few days later, I came back again to buy a new classifier as my previous one decided to escape down the river when my back was turned. I was given the same great customer service. Personally, it's just fun at this point to see what they have in store and to talk to Bryan about gold things. It even gotten to the point were we wanted to invest in a metal detector. After talking about his own experience with metal detectors and tricks to where to look, Bryan took us and others outside to give a small demonstration. We now own a Gold Monster 1000 and excited to give it a go.

Been to AKMDS a few times and dealt with Brian. He s very knowledgeable and helpful. Class A service.Today I went in and spoke with Dudley. This interaction was the epitome of classic, old school service. Full of information not only on the products line but with mining in general. This type of service comes along rarely but when it does, it s refreshing.I would recommend AMDS to friends and family without hesitation!!!

We bought a Can-Am Outlander 2020 and were extremely satisfied with Alaska Mining & Diving Supply. Our salesman Gary listened to what we were looking for and was extremely knowledgeable on their options that they had available. I am new to ATV riding and when I came to pick mine up he was very patient explaining to me how to operate and what maintenance care I need to keep up with. We had difficulty strapping our ATV onto our truck and Gary went above and beyond to help us even staying past their store close time to make sure we were safe to leave.We trust Alaska Mining & Diving and will be using them for all our future maintenance needs.So far we have taken our ATV out 3 times and absolutely love it!

Ordered a motor from AMDS in February, and was told it would be 6-8 weeks, "ready for shrimp opener" , on April 15th. After getting strung along for months, I finally cancelled my order order with them after waiting 14 weeks.If you are one of the many people waiting on a motor from them, and being told it will be here soon, I'd recommend looking elsewhere at this point before the summer is over. I know of two other friends who have also cancelled their orders as well, and found locations on the Peninsula.A week ago, before cancelling, I asked if the manager would at least comp/reduce the installation price since I was also buying a full price motor, steering, prop, and had been told so many times that it would "be here soon." He was unwilling to make any concessions on the matter

I've been into Alaska mining and diving a few times this summer because I recently purchased used Honda outboards. I like to service my own equipment and Alaska Mining and Diving seems to be the main Honda dealer in Anchorage. My experience has been less than satisfactory this year. With the covid-19 I've been trying to do as much over the phone as possible and whenever I call their phone line goes directly to voicemail saying they will call you back. I've left three different messages at three different times with no call back this summer. So I expected that when I went down there for it to be busy or understaffed. When I got there they had a full complement of people behind the parts counter and with little to no customers. I've had to go down there four different times and this is always been the case. They do not appear to keep in stock regular maintenance items for common outboard Honda outboard engines. For being anchorage's premier Honda Outboard dealer it makes wish I did not own Honda or that someone else would start another dealership....8/24/20 .. reply to the responseThanks for the response. The parts guy behind the counter today I think felt my frustrations and threwin the shipping cost to rush my part. All anybody can hope for is somebody to stand behind their product and service. I would have thought a 50 horsepower Honda would be one of the more common engines and a water pump impeller is supposed to be regular maintenance on any outboard. I would have expected that to be a part that any dealer would always have on hand.

Got my CanAm up and running after my key broke. Walk-in service on a computer issue between 10 and 11am. These guys are the best. Don't forget all the mining equipment they sell here too.
