Was transferred to Kyle in sales. I explained a unique situation for my son. Kyle seemed pleasant and eager to help us. He said he would check with his manager and call us back. Not hear from I called back the next day. We talked for a few minutes and he said he would check with his manager and call back. We never heard back from him. I explained on the phone our situation, and my son is ready to buy his first vehicle Everything has checked out in my favor to purchase a vehicle and we chose Green white Toyota of the Shoals our business because it is such a long drive, we were hoping to have all of our ducks in a row prior to driving to the dealership. Kyle has yet to call , my son or myself back. I ve even given him an extra three business days! Looks like we will start making calls for other Toyota dealerships who may be more interested in our money and business.

My trade/purchase was the easiest I ve ever experienced. I told the salesman prior to visiting the dealership what I had to be at or I couldn t make a deal. He and his manager worked hard for me treated me like I was a friend rather than a customer and for the first time ever I actually enjoyed trading trucks. Michael Harris is a great sales guy as I asked some tough questions and feel that he was honest and very sincere. I would definitely work with him again!!

Beth our sales person was great, very upbeat and friendly. I was not very happy with the lady in finance, she tried to tell us that we had to take additional options because they were already on the vehicle, if that is true then it would already been included in the price of the vehicle. She seemed to get aggravated when we tried to ask questions about different pricing, we were not trying to be difficult we had questions, this is the first time my husband has ever made a big purchase like this and he wanted to understand what he was getting into. I don t feel the experience was great but I am excited about my new to me 4 runner and hopefully will get a lot of joy out of it. Deborah Kelsey

tldr; Buyer beware at Greenway dealership! They pushed unnecessary warranties even after saying no, hid key details like price increases and longer loan term, unclear and possibly dishonest about pricing. We had a terrible experience here. This company makes the finance person the bad guy so the salesman can be a good guy.We told them we didn't want any warranties and they continued to push them. One warranty they marked down the price but I couldn't decline. This is a warranty at the Greenway dealership that will be no good when we move out of the area which we were very clear is likely to happen after a year. They do this instead of "dealer fees" so they can say they don't charge dealer fees. When we signed the paperwork she tells me "I got you a power train warranty" with no mention of price (my bad for not asking but it seemed like a bonus the way she said it and it definitely wasn't her asking if I wanted to pay for an additional warranty). When I got through the paperwork, I realized that warranty wasn't free and asked her about it. She said she was able to mark down the price of the car to include the warranty at the same payment. So, that tells me 2 things: 1) they didn't give me the best price on the car to begin with and 2) she didn't listen to what we wanted. We didn't have a target payment but I did previously tell her we wanted 60 month term on the loan. She repeatedly said the payment was the same with this additional warranty but didn't tell me the term had changed until I signed (I'm sure she was NOT going to tell me about it). She repeatedly said she "got me at the monthly payment that we agreed upon" but we were not shopping based on monthly price and we made that clear. She was not upfront about the APR either. We don't have any paperwork on what the original price of the car was so it's impossible to tell if she is being honest but either way it doesn't feel great. The lack of transparency with the finances is astounding (and kind of terrifying) but we had already been at the dealership 3 hours so I unfortunately just took the vehicle and chalked it up to a learning experience. We planned on purchasing another vehicle soon but it won't be from Greenway and I cannot recommend it.EDIT: they called as soon as they saw the review even though they already knew how things went down. They called back several times to negotiate but when I said I likely wouldn't take down the review, they became much less helpful. We ended up with they were supposed to refund the warranty to my loan amount but THAT NEVER HAPPENED. They eventually said that I had an opportunity not to sign and that was it.

I purchased a used Toyota certified pre-owned vehicle at Greenway Toyota of the Shoals. I was an out of state buyer coming from Texas. When I showed up at the dealership, the vehicle was exactly as advertised. I drove home in a low mileage 2021 in fantastic condition. I worked with Patrick Hampton and Lee Smith. Both of them made the purchasing process easy and seamless.

I went for a simple oil change and tire rotation and when I asked how long I was told about an hour to an hr and a half. I ended up being here for 3 hours. I, along with another customer, heard one of the employees say everyone in the back went to lunch together. I probably would ve been stuck longer had I not said something and my vehicle was ready within 15 mins of me saying something. A simple job that should ve taken maybe an hr lasted 3, I can t imagine getting everything they recommend done.

I purchased a car from them in 2020. When I bought my car everyone was very responsive during the process especially since I live in St Louis, MO. Fast forward, I bent my rim and couldn t find my paper on what was included . I called and the young lady said she would have the service manager to call me so I could inquire. A week went by I never received a call. I called back and was told the service manager was off . Long story short I never received a call from anyone. I sent an email to the man I bought my car Tim Dillon, and as of right now now one has called or responded. I will never shop again and to think I was going to buy my next car from them because everything is as smooth. I will not because of this poor experience

Not the best. Engine light came on immediately after leaving and I took it back to check it and they found nothing and then it came on again on the way home. I felt like the finance manager was sneaky and tried to charge me for a warranty that I didn t ask for. It took a long time and I ah to stay there over three hours. Not a good experience. Salesperson was very nice and seemed helpful but everything else was an experience I would rather not go through again.

The staff is so professional and courteous. They work hard and fast to care for their customers in the best way possible. We bought my Highlander in 2020 and love going back time and time again for the phenomenal service we receive. Josh always does his best to help keep my family moving, and I could not be more appreciative of Josh and the entire Toyota crew!

Alexis was so awesome through the entire sale. I found what I wanted, and she went over and above what was expected from her so that my buying experience was painless and stress-free. Will definitely call her for all future vehicle -related needs! Thanks so much.

They took very good care of me in my time of need. I was in a horrible head-on collision in my Toyota Tacoma, and they put me in a new one right away.

We just purchased a 2022 Sienna. We had a perfect experience from ordering to driving off the lot. Our salesman Nathan was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and very kind. Either John or Josh (I can t remember) helped with our financial services. He turned a stressful situation into a relaxed environment. Our experience ended with nathan demonstrating all of the features on our new purchase. So far it drives great and we are loving it! Thank you for a great experience!

I purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition from salesman Nathan and Sales Manager Ty Chandler on 03/25/2023. When we test drove the vehicle prior to the purchase I stated to Nathan that the coolant was completely empty. Nathan confirmed that he would have the techs refill with coolant. Now coolant doesn't evaporate which would normally lead to a leak somewhere. Ty ensured me that all routine checks are performed on every vehicle they take in on trade to ensure that all vehicles sold meet the "Greenway" standard. My family was leaving for spring break the following week and I stated that this vehicle would be a good vehicle to drive to the beach. Now after purchasing the vehicle less than 24hrs after purchase and 6.5 hours away from home I noticed that the vehicle was leaking coolant on passenger side. I made periodically stops to add more coolant to get the vehicle back home. I immediately took vehicle back into shop to evaluate coolant hoses and tech advised the fitting on the heater hose has busted and will need to be replaced. The tech also advised me that this vehicle had been leaking for sometime because of all the residue underneath the vehicle. I immediately contacted TY Chandler the sales manager to discuss options since this vehicle had been leaking prior to the purchase which is why the coolant reservoir was completely empty. TY stated absolutely "Greenway of the Shoals Toyota" would cover the cost. He stated to send a copy of invoice with pictures. >>>>Two weeks later I have not seen any check come in the mail. I contacted TY once again and asked did he send a check for the reimbursement. TY stated once again " Should be in mail let me check". Now another week has passed and I ask " Any update on if the check was mailed out"? I sent my contact information to him along with a correct mailing address to make sure that he had all information. Now I don't want to post the all text messages from the buyer in TY (Sales Manager) due to slander clauses but I did learn a $238.98 lesson. The only piece of advise I can give you on this is "please take used vehicle to be inspected to have repairs done prior to purchase". The 90 point inspections are a thing of the past. This dealership is essential to your "mom & pop" dealership with the risks that you take upon purchase. As of today 04/25/2023 no response from dealership after last message from dealership 04/17/2023.

We had a great experience. Everyone there made the process as smooth and simple as possible. Adrienne was wonderful and very personal. She made us feel like we had known her for years. When we get ready to get another vehicle, this will be the first place we come to.

Very unprofessional. We were called dumb and stupid for saying we needed to think on our options. We knew after that we would not be buying from them. I hope in the future they can be more professional, and that no one else has this experience.

This is the 2nd vehicle I have bought from this dealer. The first one was from University Toyota and it went fine. This time I'm not happy. I have been driving Nissan Rouges up till this one and I possibly will go back to a Nissan or another Toyota dealership. The guy that did the paperwork has a personality like a rock and when I left I wasn't shown anything about that car and my daughter spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to work the computer. I still haven't heard anything about the paperwork for applying for a title. That may or may not be their fault but it sure isn't my fault. I called the salesman and he referred me to call somebody else. Other than that im ok. Once they sell you a car they are done with you. The worst finance guy ever

This was going to be a short story, but there was too much to say. So, here's my story. I saw the used truck I wanted. The next week I went in to buy the truck, which I did. As the purchase was being completed, I asked the salesman about a second key and key fob for the truck. He said, don't worry, they'll mail it to you in a couple of weeks. I didn't wait for it to come in the mail and asked the sales manager about it by phone. He said there are no other keys. The one I had was all I would get. Miffed about the situation, I went to several locksmiths in the area looking to get a key and fob made. I don't know why, but none of them had any blanks to fit the truck. So, I ordered two blanks and two fobs from Amazon. It was difficult, but I finally got one of the locksmiths to cut the two of for me. They charged $160 to cut the keys and program the fobs. The cost from Amazon was $59.80. so half, because I only wanted one set more from the dealership would cost them about $110. So, instead of the $110, they decided to piss me off about it. I would have settled with one set from them and I wouldn't be making a lengthy, not-so-positive review. So, I ask wouldn't it have been worth it to Greenway Toyota of the Shoals to not have a review like this. Again, I would have settled for one more key and one more fob...$110. I invite comments, because if I'm wrong about it, maybe I should be told that I'm wrong. What do you think?BTW the salesman is now at Jones in Savannah.

Hello, In November of 2023 my 80-year-old Grandfather visited Greenway Toyota and purchased a Lexis, for which he paid over $10,000. My Grandfather is not a rich man, He worked his whole life, and the decision to make this purchase was not an easy one by any means. Within four weeks of owning this vehicle, it abruptly stopped running, the experience was traumatic, to say the least. Nevertheless, the transmission failed. My 80-year-old Grandfather bought this vehicle "As is," which was his error of judgment to say the least. We recently received a quote regarding the parts and labor, well over $9000, in which is what it will cost us to make this vehicle drivable again. This is no small sum of money. I understand we have found ourselves in a pickle, is there anything Toyota, Mr. Chandler or Mr. Wright can do to rectify the situation? Thank you, and Godbless.

Julious Victor is very knowledgeable about all vehicles, and answered all questions we had. He showed competency and concern and seemed to want us to be happy with the Toyota we chose. We will definitely recommend him to our family and friends who are looking for a Toyota.

The salesman was very nice liked him a lot - as a person- he knew nothing about the vehicle- couldn t help teach us anything about it- basically if u like it - read about it. One concern we had was are we getting two key fobs- he brought out 2 key fobs and placed on his desk- after paperwork was done we got 1 key fob - I said there was 2 - I said we were told there was 2 u had 2, was asked if I asked the finance manager about getting 2-, this should be included not did I ask the finance manager, after declining the options they tried to add on & saying the warranty price was way to high we agreed on the price- still not happy about 1 key fob feel like that was a payback for not getting the add on s but love the car
