Great experience at this shop - everyone in the family was so knowledgeable, professional and kind. We brought in our Ford e450 powerstroke because it was having issues accelerating at higher speeds. Got diagnosis and repair at a fair price and got back home the same morning. We also got a lot of advice on maintenance that we will use going forward (thank you!). Was nice to work with people who appreciate the vehicles they work on as much as we do driving them. Couldn't be happier to have found these folks. Highly recommend

Very nice people fixed my truck quickly. Also towed my livestock trailer to their shop so I didn't have to leave it in town where the Quick oil change place messed my truck up changing a fuel filter! I'll be coming here for oil changes now too. They are diesel specialists. The quick oil change place couldn't crank my truck after only changing back fuel filter! Blew fuel pump fuses!

Jones Offroad has serviced all of my fleet and personal vehicles for quite some time now. They have performed routine maintenance to complete new motor and transmission installs. They have always done an outstanding job with anything that I've ever brought to them. The most recent was an HP Tuner and modification on my LP5 Duramax. Randall and Nikki both went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied and the truck was running properly. I couldn't be more satisfied with with their service. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks Randall and Nikki.

Had a work vehicle towed to their shop.We told them that this was a work vehicle and time was of the essence. We then asked then to diagnose the issue.After waiting 3 days for diagnosis they then said it would be three months before it could be repaired. We told them we cannot wait three months, and we needed the truck put back together and we would get to another ship.We then received an invoice for $850 then the following day received an invoice for &1,500 the following day stating the owner said we didn t charge enough see attached revised invoice .To conclude the issue we then scheduled for a tow truck to pick up and we were told the parts would be in a box, and they did NOT put it back together.I then requested a diagnostic report so we could have in writing something from a certified mechanic to provide to the alternate shop and they refused to send diagnostic.Overall bad business experience, no transparency, very unprofessional.I would not recommend their shop.

I was driving from Nashville to Auburn to pick up my son from college when several warning lights came on and I lost most of my engine power. Managed to get to an autozone and their computer gave me a diagnosis (not good/expensive). I was nearly 4 hours from home and an hour from my son. What do I do? Jones was recommended. They were very close and the owner promised to take a look. He hooked up his own computer, then popped the hood. He checked this, cleaned that, lubricated something else...all the warning lights went off and the car seemed fine. I asked him what I owed him and he said, "not a thing." I picked up my son and drove home the next day. No issues.Read less

On 09-15-2021, my 2004, F350 with 6.0 engine was idling rough and sometimes would actually stall at a red light and go dead. I had just recently drained all the engine oil and swapped it from the recommended Motorcraft 15W-40 to Schaffer full synthetic 5w-40, along with a new oil filter in an attempt to fix this problem. This attempt did not fix the problem. My son (Derek Green) told me about Jones Off-Road Services and took my truck there for Randell Jones, (the owner) to diagnose. Randell suggested that it was probably a bad ICP and he was also concerned about the change to synthetic oil.. His daughter, RandallLynn (an excellent and knowledgeable mechanic herself) jumped in and R/R the ICP with a genuine Motorcraft part.... (Randell declined to install the "after market" ICP part ~ I had bought on-line, because he had already had bad experience(s) when using anything other than original OEM parts.) RandallLynn also discovered that the new Oil filter i had just installed, was not a genuine MotorCraft part and was the incorrect after market type filter (with an improper sized oil return hole). I believe their knowledge and dedication to only use the OEM's recommended parts, etc. saved me a lot of time and money chasing a fix to my problem, because these corrections fixed the problem and the cost was very reasonable. The service was very professional and everyone was kind and friendly. Thanks to Randall, Nikki and RandallLynn for a GREAT JOB !! I recommend this shop to anyone looking for a honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic, and I will definitely use again and again for my next repairs.
