Dixie Auto Body Repair Inc stripped the original paint and failing clear coat off of my 2006 Chevy Avalanche tailgate. They repaired a few blemishes, primed, and repainted the fiberglass tailgate. It was then polished to a mirror finish. I m extremely happy with the results. The turnaround was quick and the price was great. I couldn t have asked for anything more. Thanks guys.

We had some pretty deep scratches on our SUV and "someone" accidentally closed a garage door when the hatch back was open.Needed serious cosmetic surgery. I was referred to Dixie Auto Body by a friend..After leaving Pete a message, he replied the same day and we arranged for him to look at the repair..He explained to me what had to be done and the length of time needed...I am very impressed with the finished product and was actually ready before the estimated time..He is truly an "artist" and takes pride in his work...highly recommend

My 2017 Jaguar XE 25t had rear bumper parking lot damage on both corners. Dixie A/B performed a perfect repair on internal and external components and the color match is spot-on. I can't tell the bumper was ever damaged from the quality of the repair. My wife had Dixie A/B repair major rear body crash damage to her 2018 Lexus RX 350 SUV and the work looked factory delivered. She's scheduling Dixie A/B to fix a front bumper scrape on her 2020 BMW M5 in a week.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

DABR took an ill-fitting aftermarket grill I bought, modified it so it would fit and it looked OEM when it was finished. What is remarkable about this is that 99% of places would have balked once the grill was found not to fit. These are can-do people. Will use their services again without hesitation.

Found Dixie Auto Body Repair on internet and looked at their reviews - all were excellent. I see why. My 25 yr old GMC K-1500 P/U, otherwise in very good condition, sustained nasty gouging, dents and scraped paint on passenger side (along p/u box) from my side swiping a brick mailbox structure. Mr. Pete (& helper Jim) fixed it "show room" perfectly. His "know how," talent and integrity are extraordinary. Amazing!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I knew several people that used Mr. Pete for body work on their vehicles spanning several years. All of them were extremely complementary of his work. So, my time came with a new 16" scratch on the passenger door of my Highlander. My wife and I dropped by one afternoon to let him see it, get a rough estimate and a date to bring it back later to leave it with him. Pete looked at it, walked away and returned in a few minutes with a buffer and some compound. In about 30 minutes the scratch was gone - I could not believe it! Pete is an encyclopedia of car knowledge. Very professional. I won't use any of the large body shops again after going to Pete. Thank you for your quality work.Service: Body & Trim

Pete is absolutely amazing! We have taken all 5 of our autos to him over the years. He treats the small bumps and repairs with the same level of patience and expertise as the big ones. And trust me, with 3 kids, we have him on speed dial. I took the truck to him today with a broken tailgate handle. We had been fiddling with it for about a week trying to get it open. He had it open in 10 seconds and had a new part delivered and installed in less than an hour. I know he had bigger jobs to do, but he took the time to fix this for me. He has blended paint on my Lexus to perfection, popped dented corners out of rubber bumpers, dealt with insurance adjusters, and all with a kind and friendly attitude. Pete has been in business here long enough to know exactly who to call to get whatever part you need. You couldn t pick a better place to take your auto.Service: Body & Trim

Pete is an absolute super hero! He's been taking care of us for a long time now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He really cares about people and understands how hard it is dealing with the aftermath of being in an accident and works to make things simple, easy and affordable. He always goes above and beyond for people and does an amazing job. I could go on and on about him but let's just say I highly recommend Dixie Auto every time!

I would highly recommend anyone looking for auto body repair to use Mr. Pete not only is he one of the most honest individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing he also does impeccable work.I promise you will not find anyone In this area or surrounding areas that does better work than Mr. Pete. I came here with a few recommendations as some other friends had great experiences here. My truck bed got bent out of shape pretty good to a point i wasnt sure was even repairable. These guys walked right out with the tools needed and fixed it on the spot! My husband and I were so impressed. I highly recommend this place for any body repairs.

Mr. Pete from my experience today is a southern gentleman. Told me to arrive at 1:00 p.m I came 5 minutes early and he was outside waiting. This guy knows what he is doing. If it comes out of his mouth then believe it. I really smashed the front end of my solara when I wrecked it. Most people probably wouldn't have fooled with it, I only had liability. But he did it for me at a reasonable price and helped me locate all the needed parts at a good price. Told me which parts I could use from salvage and which ones needed to be new. He's been doin this a long time and u can tell. He even went ahead and fixed the body and let me drive it while we are waiting on terrible weather to pass so he can paint it. Lol, he's like the auto body whisperer. That's why he's got 5 stats. Best believe anybody that can keep five stars with this many reviews and please that many people, me included, must be is doing something right! Thanks Pete! Went to Dixie Auto Repair for the first time last week with my front bumper duck taped to my car. Within no time it was thoroughly assessed reattached, paint touched up and the sticky glue mess was even clean off! Thank you So much! Not to mention, the best part was he didn t want to charge me the cost of my first born to put it back on! I told several body shop guys that looked at my car that I hoped their extreme quote included a new bumper! So if you want to get old fashioned service: be valued as a customer by being treated fairly, have the job done right the first time, and keep money in your wallet this is where to go. I haven t seen any garage give service and price like this in twenty years!

I brought my Lexus RX350 in for repair to our rear passenger panel. The owner, Pete, is so friendly and truly delivered old school customer service. He saved me a lot of money and did an excellent job on the repair! We will be back for any repair or brake work that we need!

Wow quality work and an affordable price! They repaired my brand new Silverado that was in a minor fender bender and you can't tell that the accident ever happened. My father passed away in November leaving me his trusted gmc jimmy. The drivers door had to be closed using a ratchet strap because the spot where the striker went was now just a hole. The passenger door wasn't far behind. Looked them up, saw the amazing reviews, keep in mind dixie body is the ONLY body shop with a 5 star review. Hands down Pete is the nicest professional person you will ever come across. I asked if it could be fixed within my budget and he even beat what I was thinking it would cost. Much lower than anyone else. I brought it in on thursday afternoon, he said by the following friday it would be done and behold tuesday he gave me a text saying it was finished. Let me tell you, when I say you can't tell it's not just as it rolled off the showroom floor, I mean that is the absolute best body work I've ever seen in my life. Pete is a really good person. He is honest and hard working. He isn't like the normal body shops that only care about charging high prices to insurance company. He is out for the average person on a budget. There isn't a shop out there that can deliver perfection like pete can. Dixie auto body is a true jewel when it comes to autobody work in baldwin county. Hell, you would probably have to search state to state to find anyone that can compare to his level of skill, precision, and performance. I can not tell you how much I appreciate Pete and his staff. My son had a accident and only had liability insurance so we paid out of pocket . Pete put his truck back together and on the road in a couple of weeks searching for every replacement part and installed them in a professional , timely manner at a very fair price. I will be forever grateful!

This place was awesome!!! My hood had a pretty good scratch, down to the metal and was dented in a little. They repaired everything perfectly and even fixed all of the rock chips that were on the hood - without me asking and without additional charge. Fixed everything for less than my insurance deductible. I d recommend them to everyone!!!Service: Body & Trim

This place is a little out of the way and tucked back in the woods but they do a FANTASTIC job on auto body repair!! Pete has just finished doing some work for us and the repairs that he did look perfect. Talking about top notch customer service, WOW, by far the best I have ever received. The owner stopped what he was doing to look at what the Hurricane did to my car. Not only did he take the time at that moment but he fixed it right on the spot instead of me having to make an appointment to leave the automobile at a later date.
