Possibly the best auto repair shop in the Mobile area. Reasonable prices, very knowledgeable and professional. The owner is involved in every aspect and they are very friendly and genuinely helpful to the customers needs. Highly recommended.

L&P is extremely slow, overpriced, has horrible customer service, and we had to have our vehicle repaired somewhere else after L&P "fixed" it.It took L&P 3 1/2 months and we paid them $6,000, but our vehicle was not fixed. The owner, Craig talked us into having him replace the engine. Foolishly, we trusted him. He charged the price for a rebuilt engine, but put in a badly used junkyard engine. He demanded $3,000 cash upfront because other people stopped payment on their checks and credit cards. We now know why. He takes months to repair what should take less than a week. After we gave him the cash, he was very rude for the next 2 1/2 months before he replaced the engine. Every time my husband called, Craig was replacing some one's engine. It seems to be his go to instead of fixing what is wrong.When we finally got the vehicle back it was leaking a lot of oil. My husband called Craig and he refused to fix the problem. He said the warranty on his work did not cover the oil leak. We took it to another mechanic who said we were not the first ones to come to him after L&P messed up. He told my husband that Craig should have fixed the leaking oil for free. It should have been fixed before and it should have been under warranty.The other shop had our vehicle done 2 days after we took it to them and they did it right. Whereas, it took Craig almost two weeks before he even looked at our vehicle, a week to replace the starter, several days to look at it again before telling us we needed a new engine, and two and a half months after we paid him for the engine before he got around to replacing the engine. He obviously did not take it for a test drive afterward because he did not notice it was leaking oil.After our trouble with L&P, we have heard of others who had the same problem.

Nothing but high quality fast work at this shop for me. I have had brake jobs and purchased tires and very fast professional and affordable. I drive from Mobile to Saraland because I trust Craig and his shop.

Very beatful in money, they will change parts that do not needed, and charge you more than dealership prices, and you still have the same problem. My car has the same problem. Well, paying places car note prices I took the faith walk and purchased a 2023 Toyota Corolla , don't have to look at them lie to me because I am a woman, and trying to beat me. So I guess I will donate it ( Lincoln LS 2002 V6 ) well kept up)

I am traveling from South Carolina to Houston. My alternator went out while I was here in Saraland. My husband found this shop on Google. They were able to get me in and had repairs done in no time. I would highly recommend this shop for any of your auto repair needs. I now have a place to stop if I am ever in trouble with car repairs again. I fully trust this placeService: Auto maintenance

These guys have been very helpful with my Restomod Mustang. A relative was mad at these guys for not having the vehicle ready for a classic car show but the blame was on numerous other mechanics shop inside the Mobile area. These guys have a great staff and gave me a reading of all mechanical issues. I recommend going to them first and by pass all other mechanical shops.

I live 3 hours away and needed someone to replace the transmission in my grandson's vehicle. Craig was polite, honest and we are extremely happy with the new transmission. It was nice to be able to talk with someone on the phone and feel like they actually cared about doing quality work. I might even drive the 3 hours to have them work on my vehicles if I ever need anything major done. Thanks Craig! Yall were awesome!Service: Transmission replacement

I had work done on my car for years no complaints prior to covid but its not the same anymore. I had to bring my vehicle up there 3 or 4 times starting spring 2022 up until Jan 2023 to get it right. My family and I have been having, all 3 of our vehicle's serviced at L & P, for over 2 years now. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of the work, the value of the price and service. I have never met a more upfront professional family and staff. When they say your vehicle will be ready on a certain day or at a certain time it will be. My only disappointment is due to moving, we will have to find a new repair shop. I strongly recommend L&P and wish them the best.

Very helpful and honest. I will never go to another mechanic now that I found one that I trust. The prices are fair, and they work hard to get your vehicle ready for you as fast as possible. Couldn't be happier with the service!

I was from out of town and my engine light came on I went there and they fixed everything and did not charge me at all. I was so surprised but now I have faith that there are still good people in the world

This is the best mechanic shop I've ever visited. When you get your vehicle back you'll never return with the same problem. Mr. Craig and his wife are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I'll never visit anywhere else

We dropped our truck of here on a whim. It was fixed promptly and the price was incredibly fair! They actually took it to the highway to make sure it was fixed/drove smooth, which I really appreciated.

They do quality work .anything you might need repaired on your vehicle they can do it at a very reasonable price and and it seems like they put that extra effort in and take pride that they do a good job. They go above and beyond to be courteous and seems like they try to help any way that they can.
