My family has been going to Grady s for all of our auto needs from oil changes to car repairs since the 90s. We were told they are now under new ownership and let me say we have never had such a bad experience with this place. When it was owned by the previous owners they were fast at getting your vehicle back to you and were very good at communicating. This isn t the same case now. My car has been in the shop for 10 days now and every time I call it s the same thing they told me on day 1. Extremely aggravating for me and sad for them because they are losing a loyal costumer of 30 years.

Grady's Tire & Auto in Opelika is our Go-to mechanic for our personal and our business vehicles. They are thorough and professional and go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of. Everyone is also super friendly and responsive. Highly, highly recommend these folks for your automotive needs!!

I asked how long it would be and I guess that is extremely impatient. Every time I looked back there they weren t touching my car. Charged me $275 for a $179 alternator $47.93 for shop supplies that must have been a lot of towels. $275 for an alternator and $153.54 for a battery does not equal $476.47 in parts. These people are rude as can be. I asked one time how long it would be and they said I was extremely impatient.

This is the best auto shop in the Opelika/Auburn area. They have been here for years. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The mechanics do a great job with repairs and their prices are fair. They will bend over backwards to make your vehicle right.

New to the area. Took my HIGHLANDER in to have a brake job, oil change with tire balance and rotation. Really expecting to pay a good 25% more that i actually did. Very fair prices with quick repair time. Quality service.Highly recommend Grady s

Grady s Tire & Auto needs to learn how to treat a customer. Worst customer experience we have ever had the misfortune to encountering. My wife and I were traveling to Texas and blew a tire on 85, 20 miles outside of Opelika, AL. No need to boar you with the details. Needless to say they made our mechanic s assistant come to tears when they refused to give her the tires we had just ordered from them . I can assure you that you will be better off picking another auto shop.

Got told a price to perform a alignment paid up front and they still trying to charge a extra 110 dollars will never deal with them again

Went in for a tire repair. They looked over all my tires and recalibrate the tire pressure . Didn't need new tires after all. They were honest , polite, and absolutely the best experience I've had in a long time.When I do need new tires, I will definitely be going here first.

I d like to thank the staff of Grady s Tire and Auto for being of great assistance to my daughter and her family while they were traveling for vacation. They had a blowout while traveling from Mississippi, and when calling around, no shop seemed willing to help on a late Friday afternoon. The young lady who answered the phone at Grady s was very kind and helpful, assuring me that her business had a tire and would be able to get them back on the road for the weekend. A good samaritan helped my daughter take the tire to Grady s, and they had it on the wheel in under 20 minutes. The staff were all very friendly while they waited, offering water and even ice cream! They were back on the road in under two hours total and able to continue their journey without incident. Excellent customer service folks! A++

I give Grady's a 5 star because the people made me feel at home and the service was great. I am a truck driver I had a delivery in Opelika Alabama I had a flat tire on my trailer and I called them . They told me to come on over. They got me right in and out. The price was reasonable as well. Thank you all for a great job.

Made my cross country drive from California to Opelika, Alabama and when I got here I asked about who would be a good place to take my Louise to, and Grady s was said to be a good company to go to, and they are!! Louise is a 94 Ford Cargo Van, and need the oil pan fixed and asked them to do a few other things and we are doing all we can to extend her life and now she needs to have a slower life, and Grady s did a fabulous job with her and feel like she s a whole different van now!! I was very surprised that the offer of the courtesy ride is willing to drive you anywhere you need to go while you vehicle is there and even if your vehicle is there for a few days, you need a lift, give them a call!! I did not expect that offer and to me that s service!! They now have my business no matter what vehicle I have, I found that this business has surpassed my expectations and now won my loyalty 100%. No work gets done without your okay. If you need any help, this is the place to go hands down! You will not regret coming here! Friendly, kind, understanding and great comfort knowing you are in good hands! Deeply impressed with Grady s! Grateful and deep gratitude for your company!! Thanks for fixing my Louise!

The only mechanics that I'll let work on my trucks. Honest and fair.The business has been bought , and I can't say for certain how the mechanics are now.The 2 mechanics that I have always trusted are now working at other shops.I hope that the standards have not changed under new ownership.

I've never had issues in the past, I left my car for fuel system work, they ended up changing the air filter (which needed to be done) but I was not asked, I was charged for it and when I get home the entire intake boot is disconnected. They couldn't bother to even out the four clips and a band clamp back on.If you want your car and wallet to be treated right go to H&W or Opelika automotive.

Grady's provided great application support and service when we needed a new set of RV tires. From the first time I talked with Laura, I could tell she knew a lot about tires. She found tires which would provide the load capacity we needed. Grady's prices were comparable to other providers. I scheduled an appointment and took our RV in. I was surprised to find Grady's provides pick-up and drop-off service. I enjoyed talking with Tim as he drove me to my home in Auburn. When the RV was ready, Tim came and picked me up. No surprises when I picked up the RV. I will do business with Grady's again.

I ve come to Gradys 3 times and every time has been a 5 star experience. Everyone there is so friendly and informative. Last time I went I was only there for a check up since I was about to drive 3 hours away with a ton of stuff in my car and wanted to make sure I wouldn t end up on the side of the road. I went to pay and they said it was free. Completely caught me off guard since I assumed there would at least be some labor fees but wow, very nice. Up until I moved, they were my go to. Would definitely recommend them!

I ve taken my car here a few times and every time I ve taken it the service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly the prices were very fair. this is a shop I d recommend to anyone. If you re looking for tires, please give them a try.

It has been about a month since I had my tire service done at Grady's. Excellent customer service and price. I waited in the lobby while they mounted and balanced my 4 new tires. The whole time the staff was super friendly and engaged with me in interesting conversation making me feel more welcomed. They told me I needed new brakes and a rear rotor (which I did, and already bought the parts on Amazon before going to Grady's) and I appreciate how they didn't try to pull any sneaky fees on me. My only complaint is that when I got my car home, I checked the pressure in all 4 tires and each were off. One tire had 65 pounds of pressure in it! The other 3 had around 20-25 pounds of pressure. My tires are supposed to hold 35 pounds of pressure, so needless to say I had to do some air pressure adjustments. Nonetheless, I have no hard feelings, and understand this was probably an overlooked mistake. I still recommend Grady's and will continue using them in the future (checking tire pressure before leaving the parking lot next time.)

So I came all the way from Montgomery Al with two bad tires. I was recommended to Grady s and when I got there everyone was very friendly at first . After sitting there for a little while I was having a phone conversation and I had my sister on speaker. My sister said while on speaker They are some nice white people. I responded with I can never have you on speaker chile. I felt like the lady there was offended by the comment and started to treat me differently. I had missed a call from Rick and when I called back I was placed on hold by the lady for 30 mins just to get answers about pricing. I felt like she was speaking to me as if I didn t understand simple things. And then quoted me over $400 for two tires and to change some lug nuts. I ended up paying about 363 when I actually got there. Annnnnd she was sarcastically saying to someone on the phone Oh we can never have you on speaker. We don t know what you might say. I give a -1 for customer service because as a business that one lil comment shouldn t have made you completely switch up on your customer.

Honestly the best place you could go!! I LOVE the shuttle service they offer. Outstanding customer service, they are very trustworthy, will go above and beyond to help their customers, and honestly care if their customers are truly satisfied. They stand behind their work and are very dependable. I really appreciate how they take care of their customers. They don't try to sell you something you do not need. Their knowledge, experience , and work is top notch. I would not recommend going anywhere else. Laura at the front desk will get you in and out.

Fantastic! We are new to the area and they came highly recommended. They didn't disappoint at all. Super friendly and very professional! My car was pulling hard to the right and needed an alignment super bad. Now it drives like it's brand new again!

Had them fix my car and still had noise with it. Took it back and said it was calibers but I took it to my mechanic and it was rotor it had cracked on it and warped. All the manger said was 10-4. Didn t offer to fix it since they screwed up.
