I had these guys install a custom top dollar 360 security camera system on my wife s car and they did an awesome job! I bought the system from another retailer and Jimmy s put it in for me because I didn t want to botch the aesthetics of it. You get what you pay for and they really did an awesome job!They were extremely transparent about scheduling, hours to install, cost, and offered alternatives in case if what I was asking for didn t work out. In the end they did exactly what I asked for to the very last detail and in less time than they quoted!

I was a repeat customer. My experience today, was horrible as walk in service after I had called on Feb. 16, 2024, Friday to see if they were open on Febr. 19, 2024, Monday. I WAS told to just come in Monday, and they would take care of me. I come in at about 10:30 on Monday, and they gave me an ugly attitude from the start because they didn't even know if they had the speakers I needed. That could have been discussed when I called on Friday. They said they had the speakers, and then said it might be about 2 hrs before they could get to me. As a walk in, I said that fine I will wait. They said no you can't wait, but you can leave your car. I said I have no one to pick me up. I am okay with waiting. They said you're not waiting here, you can leave and call back at noon, and gave me their card. I called back at noon, and they are servicing other people who came in. They didn't elaborate if they were appointments or walkins like myself. If they were appointments, it wasn't told to me by them. Service was horrible look at other reviews for quality of service because they wasted my day. I will not be a returning customer as long as Terry is there.

Cracked my dash while installing an aftermarket Apple CarPlay system. Granted, the vehicle isn t new [2006] but it was undamaged when it arrived. I was most disappointed with the way management handled the issue. No apology. No price adjustment offered. No remorse about the damage. They simply told it was cracked, said it happened often in older vehicles & stared at me blankly. The system works fine thus far; just wish the customer was better. Sorely disappointed & dissatisfied.

Terry at the front desk was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer every question I had. While I sat in the front waiting on my vehicle to be finished up the entire staff treated the 15 customers that called and walked in with the utmost care and respect. The staff took extra time out to walk each person through the process and explained how to do it the right way. All in all I am very satisfied with my experience from beginning to end and I am proud to have Jimmy's Stereo of my go-to for all of my future business on all my vehicles. Their prices were competitive, but their integrity and service alone was worth the money spent. I would highly recommend them.

I love this place. The guys in the front and back of business were great people. These guys help me with my problem. They treated me as if they had known me for years. I needed that at the time.

The 2 guys in the office are nice UNTIL you start having problems with their work. I paid over $1k to have a radio, tailgate handle with back up camera, and keyless entry with an alarm installed. Everything lasted just long enough for me to get 2 states away before it all stopped working. I'm now in the western part of the country with nothing that I paid for working, including not being able to open the tailgate with the handle they installed. I should have known I would have issues. The tailgate wouldnt open once before I left AL. I had to take it back and they were able to get it to work but treated me like I was an idiot for not being able to do it myself. Lastly, I was supposed to have the light on a camper shell hooked up with wiring that was already installed there. Never told me they didnt do it until I had already paid and was leaving. I asked the installer if he did it and he said "no, they were supposed to tell you that". The price I was charged was exactly what I was quoted, which was supposed to be for everything we discussed. Would never recommend this place.

Jimmy s installed a new radio in my 89 Mustang and did a great job. All the wiring was done really tight and neat. They wrapped all the wiring in black conduit under the hood and really did a top notch clean install. I ve got several more projects for different vehicles and will them back to Jimmy s in the future.

So I was given a quote for 1300$. I drove up the street for a bite to eat. When I returned the price recalculated to 2400$. Even if I wanted to do business, the old guy said it will take 4hrs to run a bass knob and install one 12 subwoofer with a BUILT-IN amp(1-2hr job) smh they are playing with the culture and should be stop,or relocate to Wetumpka. If you want a good deal with a fair price go to Best Buy outside Montgomery any direction. Thank me later

I am thoroughly pleased with the service I received from Jimmy's Car Stereo. They have been in business for an extremely long time. They replaced the two door speakers in slightly over an hour. I highly recommend this business. Happy New Year!!19 December 2022.

Terry was super friendly and helpful in our multiple phone conversations. After speaking with multiple different stores and price-shopping, I am pretty sure that Jimmy's can get the job done. They appeared very knowledgeable and experienced. I will do a follow-up review after my appointment later this week.Now that I've actually met the guys and gotten the backup camera and sensors installed on my truck, I can say that the team did a great job. Everything is working well, and I fully believe this company will stand behind their product and labor. They had competitive pricing and outstanding service. Glad I chose to work with these guys, and I will definitely for future needs.

The factory touchscreen went bad on my VW Passat, & it was going to cost me $1,800+ for the dealership to replace it. Took it to Jimmy s & they had me up & running the very next morning for half that. Great service & the finished product looks better than the original did. Highly recommend.

Made an appointment to have my radio replaced. The installer found my speaker wire was broken and corroded. He brought it out to show me, and gave me the choice to repair or replace.The pride and professionalism these people exhibit is a pleasure to witness. Fair pricing as well. I will tell everyone to come here for service.

Broughtmy wife's Dodge.Ram. 1500 for a new stereo. Talked with Terry upon arriving told him what I was looking for he reached up and pulled out exactly what I was looking for. Gave me a drive out price and it wasn't one penny more. Great service and was in and out in a timely manner. Terry not only talked about radios but also interacted with every day things which was another reason I felt comfortable doing business with Terry. I had dead front speakers in my 2008 Prius. Jimmy's did a great job taking a look at them, then calling with a very fair estimate and putting a whole new kit in my car. Same day. And it ended up being less costly than anticipated. I had to bring the car back to them the next morning to take care of some clip issues on the tweeter mounts, and they took immediate care of it, and even changed out my key fob batteries for no charge. Jimmy's is great. All the guys working there are so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much!

Very good customer service. Instalation of our stereo system was done in a timely manner and they showed us how to use the stereo and the hands free phone. They also gave us a better price than other places we checked.

I bought a new, double din touchscreen online with a dashkits and it didn't fit. We took it to Jimmy's and he tried multiple dash kits trying to make it work for us. Unfortunately, we couldn't get one to fit so we ended up just buying a new touchscreen from Jimmy's. They didn't try to push anything on us and we're very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!!

These guys came heavily recommended by a good friend so I went. Granted, they had the part I needed in stock, but it was twice as expensive as I'd found online. Also, I was warned about their arrogance beforehand, but it still took me by surprise. I should've just bought the part online - but I still TRY to root for the underdog

I'm done with this location. I have done business with then over the years. Things have changed so much. Terry and Chris (ESPECIALLY Terry) treat you like comic book characters. No appreciation for their customers and business. Im DONE with this group!

I've used the guys at Jimmy's for over 15 years and they always make sure I leave happy. They have done my boat, jeep, truck and multiple cars with basic systems to near competition complete audio video setups. I can promise I'm among the pickiest customers they face. I recommend them highly.

I went here about a month ago to inquire about getting my dash speakers replaced. When I walked in, the employees just looked at me. I began telling them what I wanted. The guy with long hair sighed before coming out to look at my dashboard and proceeded to tell me that nothing can be done (clearly a lie). I ended up going to another shop.

I went in today to decide on my boat audio set up. I explained my plan to hunter, he gave me options and was not overly pushy nor did he come off condescending. While I did purchase some cords and wires since I had purchased some other items on amazon previous to my visit, I ll definitely go back if I need any other components. It s rare that you get actual helpful service with this stuff.

Only wanted a replacement head unit which was on sale on the sign for $59. After a rude and dry reception, I was told the price was $175. I asked why, he said for installation. Wait, I already have an aftermarket unit in my car, oh then it'll only be $50. For 3 minutes of your time. I'd like to have a job that pays $50 for 3 minutes. I then asked about the unit I was about to purchase and he got mad because I asked. He sarcastically answered my question with "it's a $59 radio". Wow, so that gave me a feeling that he felt like it was junk...... you're knowingly selling junk. I decided to leave while I was ahead. Plus I didn't like the way I was treated, I didn't do anything to earn it.

Extremely awesome and helpful people. Tried using another local car audio shop (bigger name), and they was no help at all. Messaged these guys on facebook and they had everything I needed. When I stopped by to purchase, the guys had it sitting to the side waiting for me. Only car audio place that will be getting my money for now on.

Was helping a friend with an install and called these guys looking for a harness. Was nice enough to help us trouble shoot instead of rushing us off the phone. Ended up needing a fuse instead of waisting more money on harness. I highly recommend these guys based on our call.
