Had a great experience at Pelc Tire this afternoon. I needed rear brakes replaced. I was quoted $503 at another repair shop and ended up paying $225 at Pelc. Scott was very attentive asking what I needed and then explaining each of my options. He was honest and upfront about each repair and whether or not each one was absolutely necessary for safety or simply a matter of comfort. I was in and out in under 90 minutes. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.

Had an issue with our family vehicle while visiting Dauphin Island on vacation that developed and worsened over the course of our long distance travel down to the island. Vehicle issues are always stressful, even more so when you are in a place where you don t know anyone.I found Pelc Tire Auto Center via online search, so I appreciate the comments and shared experiences from others as it helped lead me to Scott and John. I called them, and they told me to come on by so they could look at my vehicle before making a diagnosis. Within 15 minutes after my arrival they had my vehicle up on the rack to investigate my issue. I was able to utilize their very clean and tidy waiting area to check on some work while I waited and they were completely accommodating while my vehicle was being repaired. Part of the reason I chose Pelc was due in part to the appearance/cleanliness of their waiting room. I know that seems trivial but I thought if they take the time to take care of their shop, then they will take the time to take care of me!But must importantly, they were able to get the parts I needed and after a short wait time, get me back on the road within a price range better than I anticipated for the needed repair. John and Scott were very friendly, and I would recommend them/Pelc to anyone, especially for those of you that find yourself in an unexpected need for repair while far away from home.I appreciate the walk-in, same-day service that got me back to my family with minimal interruption to our vacation time!

John and the team were great to work with. I took my car in for a rotation and possible alignment. I had a tire wearing on the outside tread and knew it needed an alignment. They confirmed this and took care of the problem. I basically got back to my house and they called and said you re ready. I couldn t believe it. Conveniently located, courteous and fair pricing. Honest people, great customer service! Thank you! I bought the tires from Fausak tires. I ve taken it back at least 4 times, it would be okay a little while then low again. I should have gotten them to replace the tire, but I trusted them foolishly! I drove into Pelc Tires and they fixed it in 15 minutes, less than $25.00. Be careful who you trust. Very satisfied!!

John and all the guys were very honest, polite, friendly and a pleasure to meet and do business with. I had received a couple estimates previously over the past week. John said what our truck s brakes actually needed to have done was a fraction of what the competitors said was needed.It s very rare in today s world where you receive honesty, great workmanship at a great price. I won t hesitate to bring our vehicles to you for all of our work and would recommend you to anyone. Thank you all very much for a fantastic experience and see you all soon.

EXCELLENT COMPANY! They got me in and out with no problem! I m so glad I decided to come to them. Prices are very reasonable. John was so nice helping me get set up and also the mechanics, I didn t catch their names though, lol. Definitely go visit them, they re the best!

I went in to have my tire repaired. Jason was upfront about the pricing, there was no hidden fees. I felt at ease when I walked in the bulding. They are locally owned which made it a much better choice for me. Great prices, knowledgeable staff, they are not pushy to up sell you, they will offer a service if you wish but won t badger you into anything. I highly recommend them for any service you may need

100% recommend! My tire popped coincidentally right by their store during the night. Left my car parked overnight and called in the morning to see about getting my tire replaced. When I called in the morning they already looked at it and had a quote pulled up. I have had a hard time finding a genuine, transparent auto shop in Mobile as it seemed like most other shops would depend on the day and who was working (read below for full story).A few weeks prior I got in a small accident causing one tire to pop, that time I went to Express Oil change and Tires on University (due to proximity). I had a horrible experience where they visibly were trying to scam me as one guy quoted me 300$ for a single tire and service (even when I had said I wanted the cheapest lowest quality tire as I wasn t looking to keep the car for long). The next day I had issues with the alignment and I went back to the same shop as I had already paid for these issues to be fixed and they advised me to change the second tire. I asked for their manager for a quote (without telling him what his worker charged me the day before) and he talked my ear off about how he s going to do everything he can to discount for the same exact type of tire I had gotten put on the day prior. He came back quoting me 395$ (with same services from the day prior). It s not about the money difference at all, but the principle that I knew it should be the same price at minimum (despite being told it would be cheaper). I didn t do business with them due to this scam and drove away. Only a few weeks later the other front tire popped. Out of pure coincidence I had this tire changed at Pelc Tire and they fixed everything for super cheap and were very transparent with detailing the issues the car had from driving three weeks with bad alignment. They gave me discounts and I got 3 tires replaced and alignment checked and new tire rods. They updated me often and ironically I ended up having to completely change the new 300$ tire I had just replaced at Express Oil. The guys at Pelc are friendly and more importantly genuine business professionals. I bought their auto protection plan warranty service since I had such a great experience and will only be going to them if I have any future problems. Thank you John and Scott!

Great group of guys!! They done a great job on my alignment and I could tell they take pride in what they do! They were very helpful. I did not feel pressured into other services whatsoever and the prices were very fair. Good honest people, they did not try to lie about anything to get more money out of me. Pickup and drop off were stress free. They provide all kinds of services!! 10/10 recommend an when I need something else I will be going back here, I will not waste my time other places!!

I was about 45 minutes from home and my car started shaking, making a humming sound. I had stopped at two other places but no one could help me so when I saw Pelc I was relieved. John and Scott were very attentive and immediately suggesting putting it on the diagnostic machine. They found the problem and I was out of there in 30 minute's with my car running like a sewing machine. John and Scott were absolutely wonderful, they were very professional and knowledgeable. I am so thankful to have found this place.

John and Scott are wonderful! They're very welcoming each time I visit this location. As a young lady, I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to vehicles but they actually take the time help me understand what's going on and how to keep my car in the best shape. Service is always fast. Highly recommend!

This was my 1st visit and to say I was more than pleased is an understatement. I've always had to drop my car off and leave it all day wherever I got a wheel alignment done not here. I don't think I was there longer than 20 minutes and that includes paying having my reciept and walking out the door. I'll never use anyone else. Call and ask for Scott I assure you that you won't be disappointed. Thanks you Scott!

John at pelc tire was amazing he informed me of all the problems my car had before he performed the service. He got my baby back on the road and riding smooth as ever. The mechanics were very knowledgeable and they ordered the parts my car needed. Over all great service at a reasonable price. I ll Definately be back but not too soon.

I had a hole in my tire the day I was leaving for a trip and I had a friend recommend Pelc Tire. I went and had the absolute best experience! They had me in and out within 30 minutes and were so very nice. They were also very reasonably priced. Best experience I have had at a car place in a while! I will be back!

The management and staff at this location are absolutely awesome! I had a tire mishap taking my mom to the doctor and they were waving me into the bay before I could get turned into their shop.It is extremely refreshing to find a business that has true customer service this day and time and Pelc does!! Their efficiency was second to none as well.......no wasted time what so ever!! Many thanks!

In and out in 30 minutes. Excellent service and price. John was very friendly and helpful. I thought I needed an alignment but he checked and said alignment was perfect so he rotated tires (a lot less money than an alignment) and now it drives perfect.

I needed an auto service center that could provide a lift to repair my Jeep Gladiator tire (without damaging the rim) and I m so glad to have finally find a one!Pelc Tire in Mobile not only provided great service; they are also ALL so kind and friendly the second you step through their door.Thank you all so much!! Highly efficient shop with exceptional quality of work and professionalism. I ve been trying to find an auto shop like this ever since I moved to Mobile 5 years ago. Pelc gets you in on a first come first served basis, no appointments, no waiting, no run arounds and no disappointments. They fixed my Ford properly after another shop messed it up. The other shop over torqued my new wheel bearings and did such low quality work that I needed an alignment due to their inexperience as mechanics. The two gentleman up front were professionals and kind, and the mechanic in back had pride in his work. This is were you want to take your vehicle, trust me.

They definitely took care of me changed my oil and checked my tires and found a nail and fixed that too. I was very please and the staff was very pleasant. I usually hate going anywhere without my man because they always try to get over on u. They were great and I love that they didn t take advantage because I was a female. I m definitely going back

Very good experience. The tires and install price combined was less than a local competitor. The manager is very experienced and communicative about availability of the tires and for services needed and/or not needed. I recommend to family and friends.

PelcTire came highly recommended by a friend, and I m now recommending them as well. Hands down, they are my go-to tire, service, oil change, etc., shop! Two of my tires were losing air slowly, so I took my car in. They checked all my tires, found the problem, fixed my tires, and had me in and out in 30 minutes. And the cost was reasonable on top of great service. The shop is neat, clean, and has a nice waiting area as well. John and Scott were so nice and professional. I appreciate the great service today, PelcTire! People, give this business a try. You ll be glad you did.

Great experience. Went in for a slow leak in my tire and it ended up being a loose valve stem. They fixed it for free and got me on my way. John, the customer service rep was kind, professional, and swift to get my needs met.
