Came in for an oil change and after 15 minutes was notified the techs could not get the oil plug out without risking damaging the vehicle. That's a first, but more of an inconvenience than anything else and not a big deal. What is a big deal is not putting the oil cap back on when done. As I'm driving down the highway my hood starts to vibrate and nearly flew open (and then off undoubtedly). I pull over and look to see what the issue is. Turns out the cap was placed by the release and kept the hood from closing completely.

I went to Strickland for the first time today and I got my oil changed. I left and wasn t even two minutes down the road before my hood flew up and smashed my windshield. I went back to them and showed them what happed. They argued that they closed my hood, but after reviewing the cameras the manager determined they did not close it all the way. Although they will be reimbursing me, I still have to miss work and go through the hassle of getting it fixed. Needless to say I will not be returning again.

Service was a bit rushed, didn t do any of the additional checks like my usual place. The tech was polite. More expensive than my usual oil change place even after the coupon. Won t be going back here. I would rather they take time to fully check everything and do the job properly than try to get me out of there in 10 min.

Quick and convenient. I pulled up, they took my information and immediately got to work. I was out in 10 minutes or less. My task was completed with my children in the back seat. This definitely beats being at the dealership for over an hour with an appointment.

I was referred by my husband who got his oil changed there a few days ago. He said it was great- quick and easy service while you wait inside your car. So I went today and it was definitely Super convenient AND they offer a military discount. William serviced our vehicles and was both friendly and professional. Highly recommend Thank you!

See photos for greasy hand prints left on hood. Waaay worse, hearing the scraping sound pulling out because he left my skid plate detached. "My bad. I got a call from my other store when I was finishing and forgot to reattach your skid plate. We're all good now."No, we're not all good. I can't trust what has been done to my car and feel like I need to take it somewhere to be inspected.If the person is so poorly trained in modern vehicles that he tells you to "Start it" on a plug-in hybrid, and then tells you to "give it some gas" because he doesn't hear an engine, they shouldn't be touching my car.Oh, and gave me the decal with oil change in 3,000 miles. Come on. This isn't the 1900's anymore.

I needed to get in and done quickly. Arrived at 8:25am in my wife s Jeep and left at 8:45 with all lights checked, oil changed, and super friendly service. They even reset the computer oil monitor in the dash! Thx guys!

The guys at Strickland Brothers are great! So friendly, quick, and efficient! It makes the whole experience enjoyable (which is saying something for an oil change). If you get there at the right time there s never a wait. My husband and I take the car there for all oil changes and other small items (air pressure, break lights, etc).

I came into the Zeirdt Rd location in Madison, AL around 3:30pm today (12/6/2023). All of the sweet boys working in there were just wonderful. They were kind, informative, fun, talkative, and happy to answer any questions that I had. My daughter even leaned up from the backseat and said mommy, I want to come here again. These boys are really nice . As a woman who s husband typically takes her car in for regular maintenance, I was skeptical going on my own, but I didn t want to wait any longer since my car was overdue for an oil change already. They didn t make me feel bad for not knowing basic things about my car (which I know I should have known!) but instead talked me through each question, guided me, and most importantly, didn t try to up sell me extra things that I didn t actually need. I will definitely be going back and will have much less anxiety about it now! These boys working in there deserve some major Christmas bonuses!!

Customer service was excellent. Greeted me at my truck with a small bottle of water. Everything inspected. Military-friendly. Was in and out in about 15 minutes. Plan on going back.

I came in for a simple oil change. The mechanics had been working on my car for about 20 minutes after using an impact drill ~10 times near the driver side and I saw a zip tie in one of their hands going into the engine area, without any communication on what was happening, and I got out of my car to see what they messed up because both of those things happening in an oil change are concerning.In pulling out my cabin air filter which they didn t ask if I wanted them to! to see if I wanted a new one, they sheared the head off the bolt that apparently was the only one and said I came in with only 1/4 bolts so I should go get more. After 10 more minutes of them messing with the filter box, I told them to just zip tie it so I could leave and solve the actual problem instead of them doing God-knows-what without telling me they were doing it.The workers were very unprofessional and talked about employees and what they themselves were doing the whole time ( that s what happens when you let a Colombian check the air filter , we got a whole squad under this hood ) I felt like I was going to throw up when I was leaving because I didn t trust any of the work they did. I m shocked there are so many good reviews, I have never been to somewhere so careless

This particular location has had erratic hours lately, I think due to lack of workers so it s had been closed the past few times I went by. Finally got by when they were open, and the guys gave me a nice discount and did everything properly and quickly also they don t screw your oil filter on so tight and torque the drain bolt, which is nice.Service: Oil change

Other than the guy who sold my oil change, the staff showed an unusual level of carelessness during my oil change. They spilled oil multiple times. I overheard one guy yelling after having oil spill on him, including on his face. They were joking about not following procedure. They couldn t find the tools they needed, dropped screws, and were climbing in and out of the undercarriage bay while cars were parked over them. Besides that, it took about 45 minutes, and I got no explanation for why it was taking so long. I left feeling like they really didn t know what they were doing.

Fantastic experience! Austin and William were incredibly friendly and professional! I really felt valued as a customer even though I unknowingly showed up 10 minutes before closing. They took the time to do everything correctly, including pointing out the safety hazard of a screwdriver being left under my hood from my prior service from another company. They definitely have me as a new customer!
