Very disappointed in Service. They are great at oil change not service. Three times in a row now I have had a bad experience. I dropped off last time for a leaking tire and specifically asked 2 different people, made sure one was the manager that I could pick my car up first thing in the morning. My wife was leaving with a car full of girls for the beach. I had to have it by 10am. First one up in the morning sir should have it done by 9/9:30 at the latest. I pull up at 10am to pick up the vehicle It s still sitting in the lot and hasn t seen the bay yet. Well- that manger is not here and I don t know what he told you but if you can come back at noon we will have it ready. Ya I felt lied to and then he made me feel like it was my fault and I should never have expectations like that when dealing with car repair. Totally un professional and just bad people service. 3rd time in a row I have felt like this!!

I appreciate the gentleman for taking care of my flat tire today, even though I was such a jerk. They were so nice and I was back on the road in no time! I truly appreciate it! My foster dog said thank you for the doggy treat

Went to get an oil change. That went well. However, the shop manager " seemed and said they had more business than they needed. I was asking about making an appointment. He said only 1st come, first serve, but I could leave my work van a couple of days, and they would get to it. I explained that I would not be able to work. Could I leave overnight and be early the next day. He said he just did not have time to talk with me. I told him what I had done and where I got my parts, and then he said, " Well, that's your problem. Advance has a very high failure rate. I have bought many parts for many vehicles and have not had a failure. At that point, I decided to go to Pep Boy. I figured Express did not need or want my business. I have been doing business with Tire Engineers since the 1980's and Mr . Johnson would never have allowed his people to treat a customer this way.

I highly recommend the Valleydale Express Oil Change! The folks at this location have always done a great job with my car, and the place is really well run. Derek, the manager, has gone out of his way to get my car done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality of work. I'm glad I have found a place to service and maintain my vehicle that I can trust!

There are many Express Oil Changes (EOC) around town but they are NOT all equal. I have found EOC-0128 on Valleydale to be head & shoulders above the rest. Derek runs a tight ship but they all seem to really enjoy what they do. Thank you guys for not just showing up for work but coming with a good attitude & work ethic. Both are hard to find nowadays. Oil change done in a fair amount of time. Employees were wearing facial coverings. The shop was clean. I needed air in all 4 tires and was done. I usually go to the Rocky Ridge Road location but I was in the neighborhood and read the reviews for this store. I will come back.

Reese, Scott, Derrick and everyone I have dealt with at Express have always been top notch. They are fairly priced and do a great job for me and my family and friends. They have done most of my servicing and repairs for 20 plus years. Highly recommended!

Sometimes having someone else change your oil is a luxury, especially when you don t have time to do it yourself. I do my own oil changes, brakes and other minor repairs to my vehicles. My oil was due to be changed, and express changed it. This was an older Corvette, low miles.Jacked her up, next oil change and drained the oil.I realized something was wrong when removing the oil filter. They had used the wrong one. This could seriously damage a vehicle. Just because the threads fit, doesn t mean it s the right filter. Was told my car held 7 qrts of oil. I know my Vette holds less than 5 qrts with filter. Was charged for 7 and only got the 4.5 a C4 Corvette will hold. A ZR1 corvette holds 7. Don t take your prize car here. Even in an emergency!

James Sherman was the employee who helped me to get a new tire after getting a flat. He made the process very easy and allowed me to drop off my flat tire on a Saturday afternoon and had me a new tire ready to go first thing Monday. He lap helped me to put on the new tire and replace the spare where it belongs under the truck. Overall an extremely easy process thanks to James. Will definitely return to this location for any needs I have in the future with my truck!!Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

The managers and service technicians are always professional and as a female they have always treated me fairly and with respect. That's why they have had and will continue to have my business. The manager here is not only fair but always willing to help with things that aren t necessarily in their normal policy. We had an oil filter fused to our Prius and instead of telling us they couldn t do it, He told us that we d be taken care of and took care of that problem for us without any extra cost

Went in for a oil change. Had Went to the store on 280. Felt cheated there. Came to this Express and they were very honest and accepted my coupon from church for a oil change for $51.99 and not like the 280 location where the coupon value was $45. Also my oil change wasn't going to be a $100 here like on 280. Employees were very friendly and was honest about the type of oil needed for my car. I came in for an oil change after my light had come on. When they checked my current oil levels they informed me that my oil was full and fine! It's so refreshing to have transparency and kindness from this field. Professional service. The workers were knowledgeable of my vehicle and helped me get back on the road to Pensacola safely with new clean oil, well aired tires as well as replaced windshield wiper blades as well as my other essential vehicle fluids topped off. Will definitely go back to them in the future. Military discount is honored at this establishment which is a huge perk when it comes to garnering my business as well as many other veterans. Stop by when you want your vehicle serviced professionally and done right THE FIRST time.

Everybody that has their oil change needs to check it because mine was a quart plus low. They also wanted a $100 just to Change out my old battery that's not including buying a new one.

Very pleasant experience today. The employees were courteous and professional. Even with computer issues Mr. French ensured my services were completed in a timely manner. As a female, I am always skeptical about the recommended services regarding my vehicles. In this case I was totally assured and felt comfortable that the recommended services were legitimate and necessary. I will definitely be a repeat customer as long as Mr. French and his staff are there!!!!!!!!!!

I am very disappointed. The attendant took advantage of my daughter and I. We visited this location just for an oil change. The attendant, Robert, servicing us never asked what type of oil change. He changed the oil and gave us the synthetic blend of oil for $77.99. My daughter drives a Nissan Sentra, she only needed conventional oil. After completing the service said that will be $77.99 and he never told me why it was so much. Because we waited patiently for about 20 minutes before pulling into the bay I was distracted. I did not even think about saying/asking for conventional oil but I was never asked. It wasn t until he told us the total that I realized he gave us the synthetic upgrade. I will not be visiting this location and advise anyone else to be cautious when visiting this location. I believe they are taking advantage of women & young adults.

I came here to deal with check engine lights. I paid this company $500 to get them resolved but according to S+S they left off an o-ring. A few miles after leaving Express Oil change my check engine light came back on and that s when I got the second opinion and permanent fix. When I returned to Express Oil Change with receipts asking for a refund, they made copies and gave me a number to call but the gentleman I spoke with on the phone denied any wrongdoing and refused to give me a refund.

We had traveled from Oceanside, California to Birmingham, Alabama to take care of some personal items, and the maintenance prompt came on in the care. We stopped at the Express Oil Change on Valleydale Rd and received service that was above and beyond phenomenal. I was telling the manager about the damage the tornado had done to my house there and he was very accommodating and eager to give back by helping to make a difference by giving us big discount on the premium oil change. These are the type of businesses that we should frequent. I just want thank him from the bottom of my heart for his kindness, as well as let his Company know that his goodness and generosity is an asset to their chain. I would like for anyone reading this post, if you are ever in area of Hoover, Alabama; Valleydale Rd and need an oil change try The Express Oil Change. GREAT SERVICE. The Chain is not in our area of California.

I met a nice young man named Chrishon a couple days ago. He was a breath of fresh air, as he was the first person I interacted with at this location that tried to have a (non-forced) conversation with me while my oil change service was completed. Where do I begin!!I had just bought a used SUV and took it to express for a full service, oil change, check fluids, etc, and told the service employee that the engine light was on and the tire inflation system warning light was on and to rotate the tires.After receiving the astronomical overpriced quote that they were going to charge changing each of the tire sensors and to fix the codes from the engine light being on I decided just do the service.When I picked up the vehicle and took it home I checked all of the fluids and nothing was done. Not only was no service was done while driving down the expressway back to the business the SUV was shaking horribly and turns out there were no weights on the rear wheels after they rotated the tires.When I returned back to the business and explained that nothing was done the service tech only filled the washer fluid and brake fluid and did not change the oil or check the transmission fluid. I was so shocked at the lack of service that I decided to let others know about this performance. I will never go there again.

A creditable and trustworthy group of professionals. They offer great service not trying to offer services that are not needed. Work in a timely manner and always offering great knowledge about what services are actually needed. Nate French and his crew are great professionals working hard to keep you satisfied. I recommend this location if you need any work done on your vehicle.
