Great service very friendly. I was in bind years ago with no money and they still came and unlocked my truck so I could get to work on time. I did go pay them on payday. These was about 17 years ago. They have been my first call every since.

They were great. Took less than 30 minutes for them to get to me and just a minute to open my car door. The guy and girl were both really nice and very fair pricing. Hopefully I never have to use yall again but I definitely know who to recommend to everyone else. Thanks again yall.

I locked my keys in my apartment. I was in panic mode the landlord wasn t answering nor the hotline. I called Allen s lock and key they answered the first ring and Danielle came within 10 mins! Danielle did and awesome job got my door unlocked within 1 min. Price was very reasonable HIGH RECOMMEND!

I just got off work and realized I had a whole in my pocket where my car keys were so I called and troy came up and made me a key excellent service and high quality will definitely use again

I cannot tell you how much this business and Danielle has helped me out of a pickle, and I have had to call them TWICE in TWO WEEKS(100% my fault)! FIRST, I locked my keys in my car, and called their business the number did not work so I went to their Facebook page. It stated they are having phone troubles, and to call their personal number. I did just that, and I could hear all the commotion in the background. Danielle answered, and was at her kids basketball game coaching at 9pm, but would be glad to come help afterwards. She arrived an hour later just like she said she would she was quick and diligent!!! This time I left my keys on my boyfriends truck, and we drove without realizing it. After looking for an hour while walking along side the road in hopes of finding it (which I didn t) I messaged Danielle, at 10pm expecting this woman to be warm in bed and asleep. She messaged me back merely seconds after I texted, and quoted me for 2 keys. I was an hour away in another city so by now it was 11pm. I arrived home at 11:20, and asked if she would still come by, and she was already on the way! She got here maybe 10 minutes later, and got out in the cold rain, and unlocked to my car to be able to get the info she needed so she could cut 2 new keys for me and did all of that work in under an hour! I am beyond grateful for her quickness, and dedication to the work that she does!!! Thank you so much Danielle, and Allen s Lock and Key!

Called because I recently lost car key. I called around 1, lady named Danielle answered and said she d help me. I asked around what time would she be arriving she said no later than a hour. She arrived at 630 and couldn t get the key work initially. Gives me another key that does work and charged $175 and said to contact her the following day for the real key. Contacted her the following day several times, wasn t contacted the day of or the following day after as well as the next day. Still no key or money back. Will be contacting police.

I called them at 4:00 in the afternoon, they stated it would a couple of hours, tried calling back at 6:30 pm and they stated they would check with the tech on how long it would be and never received a call back. My mom and dad recommended this company and even they said they would never use them again also. I am a very dissatisfied almost customer. I called and sent a textMessage to cancel!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I call because my key got broken, They answered and said they would it s been 5 hours and never heard back from them and I did try to call them again but they never answered. How do u expect to have a business with all hours but never show up.

Called Allen's key in Gadsden and would not answer a call, then got a hold of him, and he said I could come by on Friday after 12. So on Friday morning I called to just confirm he would be there and could not get a hold of him. So drove over there anyway and of course he was not there, around 2:00 he sent a text saying he was off today. So, do not use these people and just use Brian's locksmiths.

I have contacted them last night about me losing my truck keys and asked if I could get them to make me a new one and they said sure we have something right now and I said okay that s fine they said we could be there tmr around 1 I said okay sounds great thank you. And it s currently 4:57 and still no call or txt back and I have been messaging them since I got up this morning.

I've been needing a key made for my Suzuki SX 5 Allen Lock and key wasn't even answering some other guy answers and said he was on a call and would call me back when he got done which he never did I remember when Bird Lock and Key was in Business when you call them they answered there phone on maybe 2 ring and maybe an hour I was driving again but here you may not get your car running and who else does keys here

After months of trying to fix issues on my son truck, that his grandfather left him when he passed. And several failed attempts to reprogram keys, I called Allen's Lock and Key, he met me discovered the auto parts store sold me the wrong lock he took the new lock apart and made it to where it fit the original keys reprogrammed the key and his pricing was great. I will use him over and over again and praise how professional and down to earth this company is thank you again for the best birthday present today seeing my dad's truck crank and drive today of all days!!!!

Called and the.woman said she had to eat and would be over. We called 4 times and they never showed. Most other reviews experienced the same issues. I do not recommend this business.

This morning, my cat locked me out of my vehicle within seconds. Unfortunately, I couldn t remember Thacker towing so I tried Allen lock and key not expecting anyone to answer the phone because they never have in the past nor do they respond to any messages or have the decency to check their voicemails before it becomes full. The only reason that I m giving this place one star is because I can t give it zero. This woman told me she would be at the pharmacy in 15 minutes but took a little over an hour to get there. I understand life happens but this place is a joke. I will never use them again. When she did finally arrive, I was under the impression that it was only $30. As the woman was unlocking my car, I explained to her that I didn t have the $30. Forgetting I had just spent money on an emergency vet visit, she said it was fine, not to worry about it and I wish I had hadn t. Instead I had her follow me to my husbands job site only to hear her say that it would be $70!! Now, she won t answer the phone and her voicemail box is full. I close to three hours ago. She said that she would send me a receipt as soon as she got back to the office. (Which was just around the corner from where we were.) I can t even leave a voicemail reminding her that I need my receipt to be reimbursed from my insurance company.

Pleasant at first. Allen came out to make a key, it took some time and he said that it was completed but the battery was weak that's why it wouldn't turn over but it was programmed, charge the battery and it will work. I paid him and he left. Put charger on the car overnight and it still doesn't work and now he doesn't answer or return phone calls.

For starters, they hardly ever answer their phone. I locked my keys in my car and was stranded for five hours, called 11 times and was answered twice. Was never given a time estimate. The lady said she would call me with a time estimate or when the locksmith was in his way. I was never called back and no one showed up. I ended up having to break into my car.. luckily I was successful.

I called them at 9:20pm on July 22nd . When I finally got ahold of someone it was a woman (didn t get a name) . She told me that it would $70 and that she would come out . A hour goes by still No one came I called an again (3rd time) she tells that she is trying to get one of her representatives to come out and if it had to be her it would take a minute .The whole night goes by and no one came to open my door . This place is very unprofessional they are not 24/7 they will send your calls to an automated voice box . I ve never requested a lock and key service just for the business not to show up or lie about coming . I wouldn t recommend this place it s very ghetto

Amazing people!! They have come to my aid twice now & fixed my issue both times within 30 mins. I called on Christmas night & Allen was willing to come help right then! Every one treats you with kindness no matter what time you call. 5 !!

I'm giving this place a 1 because when I had broke my car key I called them so many times and didn't get an answer and when I finally got a answer, I was lied to everytime the 1st day I was told someone would be there in a hour, day 2 was shortly also day 2 I was told I would get my keys and finally on the 3rd day I got my new keys around 1pm. I hope I never have to call Allen's lock and key again..

Called to have a car lock replaced. The young lady who answered the phone took my information and was supposed to call me back in roughly 30 minutes. I called back 4 hours later and had to start all over. After waiting on hold I did get an estimate which sounded like a good price, and made arrangements to drop the car off and have the work done. This morning I disrupted mine and my wife's schedules to make time to drop it off before work. No one at the location, and the 24 hour locksmith won't answer their phone. The unprofessionalism is astounding. I will take all my business elsewhere and I will reccomend the customers I interact with at my place of work to do so as well.

I called them with a problem & they quickly had a solution ! Along the way i had more issues & they still worked with me through all of it . Very affordable pricing , convenient forms of payment , pretty much 24/7 service ! I d recommend them to anybody & they definitely have my business if I m ever in another sticky situation !

I had to get a car unlocked to get an oxygen tank out to swap it out for a family member who desperately needed it. They came in 15 or 20 min. And unlocked the car. Then they went back and made a key for us and brought it back to us. Their only concern was to get me that oxygen tank first and foremost! We are so grateful to them. No one cares about their customers like they do. Thank God for Allen s! After I explained what was going on the lady sent someone right then and called to check on us after. It was so amazing but this is the kind hearted people that Allen s is. Please try them and I promise you will never use anyone else! Absolutely the best, bar none!Jackie West

ZERO professionalism and nonresponsive. After taking on a job most companies would let you know if they could not do the job or if there were issues. Allen lock and key puts these same customers on hold to never pick back up, never a return phone call or any explanation. Apparently they have enough money and no longer need customers. Good luck getting anything out of these people.

When I called this service I wasn't informed up front that they didn't except debit/credit card or check as a form of payment. Cash only. The rude and suspicious young female wanted to follow me in her vehicle to a ATM machine. She also had another female with her. Her vehicle had nothing on it stating she was with Allen's. At that moment I just so happened to see a friend who happened to have cash. I asked for a receipt. She informed she couldn't provide a receipt, but could send me a text. I'll never call on this service again. Very unprofessional.Service: Car lockouts

Allen came from Gadsden to Anniston when my key wouldn't turn in the ignition. It took him a little bit to get there but once he was there my key was turning and my car was running.Thanks again to Danielle and Allen for coming through on a Friday afternoon/evening.I'll recommend yall to anyone.
