Caleb and Ethan were so amazingly wonderful. I came in at the end of the day stressing about changing the headlight out in my Nissan and they took care of me and went above and beyond to do it right and do it respectfully. I highly highly highly recommend this location for any and all services you require.

Here is a very important revelation, Pep Boys did a vehicle inspection and checked my battery strength, as I had recently been told that I needed a new battery from the Dealership where I had some other maintenance performed, Pep Boys revealed the battery was still strong and not in need of replacement. Saved me a tremendous amount of money and proved to be trustworthy. So, let me title this review: Trustworthy

I came to get 4 new tires w/ alignment. I arrived around 6:15ish pm. There were other vehicles in front of me yet they decided to stay open late just to make sure my truck was finished. Awesome team

Very helpful! Great service. Manager showed me the problem with my tires and fixed the issues! I will be going back soon for a front wheel end alignment. Hour drive but service made it worth the time.

Pep boys is a little more expensive yet if u need one day service this is the place to go. I was able to get my tires on during my lunch break with no problem. The customer service is great and they gave me a discount. Paul Gargis and Skylar Bennet yal are the bomb dot com

Hey ""BIG THANKS"" To these guys had a flat on the interstate. They were closing, and they still help me out. Fix my flat and put my spare back When all the other shops said no, they said YES great Bunch of guys I would trust them to work on my Cadillac Escalade.And I take mine to the dealer for everything.

10/10 recommend this shop! Not only was the customer service perfect with all 100 of my questions answered, but I got my car fixed and back very quickly even though it was overheating really bad. Great communication and a positive attitude from Byron! My boyfriend and I will take all our car needs back to this shop because of him and the hard working mechanics!

The current crew and management are handling business and providing excellent customer service. The area DM was in Friday and I bragged on this crew. He knows what he's got with this team and I feel certain he'll do all he can to help them continue the momentum with turning this store around.Update: I took in my wife's 2011 Pilot 10/25/23 for a number of issues because I do not enjoy working on her car due to the modernity/compactness. Skylar, Hercules and team again came through in the clutch. If you're looking for a good shop in Decatur, I recommend this location, the guys are on it and about it! Well done gents!Update 12/27/23 took the pilot in for warranty and repair of VTEC solenoid. Quick and easy, Skylar and crew doing a good job.

Exceptional service from Byron! Called 45 minutes before closing driving south on 65 on my way to Gulf Shores with very worn tires that needed replaced immediately. They stayed open late, made us feel super welcome and got us taken care of with a smile. Customer service feels like a thing of the past these days and today was such a wonderful experience. I am so thankful for the gentlemen that helped us get back on the road safely!

If you like to be scammed go here if you like bad work and like to be over charged let me tell you this is the place for you I go in for a alignment drop it off for hours get it back and after I pay that s when they decide to tell me that they didn t do anything with my camber bc I was missing my pins and I get that s on me but I never got a call being told that or asked anything about it they told me as soon as I payed so a basically went up there and payed them for something they didn t do

I ll start this review off by saying I ve never left a review for anything, bad or good, especially a mechanic shop. A place where all I get is bad news and a hole in my wallet. So that alone should testify as to the experience you ll have if you go here. I don t live in Decatur, instead I commute in from about an hours distance. I forgot to do some routine maintenance in my home city so I had to do it after I got off work. On the way in my check engine light came on and i opened the hood to be greeted by an empty oil well. Skylar Bennett, the new Store Manager, was a saint. He and his team did the maintenance, a diagnostic of what was wrong, and refilled my oil, all in much less time than I had been told. They didn t charge me a cent for the diagnostic or oil. Benton got me home for dinner and my family and I can t thank him enough! He definitely earned a repeat customer, and my respect. That store is in good hands.100/10 would recommend.

I needed a battery asap, I called them at 5:45 knowing they close at 7, they said head on up here we'll take care of you and had me in and out in about 30 minutes. I am super grateful and would recommend them to anyone in a car servicing bind!

My son is in the hospital in Nashville currently. On the drive up earlier in the week and then when coming back home for a quick break yesterday, there was a substantial vibration in my front tires. I was hoping it was just a tire balance issue, but didn't know for sure. I was able to get an appointment online with Pep Boys, and when I got there there were only 2 guys working, and they said they were backed up as they are the only shop open on Sunday in Decatur, but would get to it asap. 30 minutes later, I was ready to go. Fortunately it was just that the front tires were out of balance. It is extremely anxiety inducing when your kiddo is in a hospital bed 2 hours away and you are concerned about your ability to get back to them. Thank you thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and availability on a busy Sunday!

Took my truck twice for an alignment. First time they said it wouldn't be perfect because I had a brand nee front it.. it pulled hard to the left then took it back and it still pulls hard left. Would not recommend them.

Took just shy of 3 hrs and the buy 3 get 1 free was still $565. That doesn't add up. No diagnostic check and it took so long. I did not even get the alignment. That I was asked about at the end of the 3 hrs. Now I am married to them for 50,000 miles.

Mo, Paul, and Luke with the dream team that got my truck in, fixed, and all squared away with the 3rd party warranty I had. I dropped off on Friday, was called to pickup Wednesday afternoon. I would feel comfortable being my vehicle in again, if this is how it'll be each time. Great job, y'all... especially Mo who made me smile so big

Alex and Johnathan were super friendly and sooo helpful! They went out of their way to really help us at closing time when they didn't have to, they could have easily told us they were closing. When we were there they made us feel just like family and like we were important to them not "just another customer". Because of Alex's and Johnathan's great work ethic and friendliness we will definitely return to Pep Boys for their great service. They work so well together. These two deserve a promotion. So phenomenal. They are superheros to us.

Paul and Andy thank you so much for the quick response and fix to a tire issue I had that Walmart messed up. I just had 2 tires installed at Walmart. By the time I got to work I noticed that one tire was losing air quick. Went back to Walmart to have it fixed and the shop was locked down for the day. Someone decided that they didn't want to work the rest of the day and closed the shop an hour early. Now this is on top of taking 3 hours to install 2 tires. At 615 I'm calling the only shop that said it was open, Pep Boys. Paul said if you get here before we close we'll check it out. I pulled in Paul and Andy met me in the parking lot diagnosed my problem which was a stripped valve stem, broke it down. They had to use an old stem to fix it but was quick to do so. I asked Paul to add a little note for Walmart on my bill and he said you don't owe anything. I have a new shop for anything they take care of on a vehicle I will let them do it. Great guys they seen I was in a desperate need to get my tire fixed and could have been like everyone else and say well it will be tomorrow. No these guys fixed me up and I was on my way. There is still some humanity in the world and it was with two younger guys working at pep boys.Paul, Andy once again thank you guys for fixing me up

Workmanship was good. Prices were fair. Waiting room reminded me of the ship I was stationed on in 1989. It smelled of stale smoke and body odor. There were four employees working three of which were lounging in the front counter area. All except the one named Shannon seemed like that could care less about anything except what was on their phone. The larger fella who was wearing Luke s shirt never moved the entire 4.5 hours I was there. Seemed to me like one of them should have grabbed a broom and some Lysol and made everything look and smell fresh. It took them over an hour to diagnose my issue and over two hours to do the repairs. It was a basic brake job. Like I said fair price good but very slow. Not well managed in my opinion.

Went in for a 9 am scheduled appointment just for an oil change. Was informed the oil change will take an hour. Informed the clerk I didn t want anything but an oil change. Ended up waiting over an hour and a half, checked and my car is in the air with all of my wheels off. Was told my car was waiting for a rotation. Something I specifically said I didn t want. There is no sense of urgency here. Will never return to this location.

This place is a JOKE. Do NOT go here for tires. Their customer service is the worst ever. Unfriendly workers with smart attitudes and really just don't care a thing about the customer. Started trying to get a tire on a Monday. Had a scheduled appointment and two hours later STILL waiting. Finally they said they would need to order the tire and it would be here the next morning. Went back the next day and was told they "sent the wrong tire." They said it should be in Wednesday. Wednesday came - no tire.It was one excuse after another. On THURSDAY, finally got the tire put on.
