Bruce and Brandi were AMAZING!! They both made the car shopping experience easy/enjoyable. They were knowledgable and listened to what we were looking for in our purchase. They did not try to convince us one way or another. Much better experience than any other dealership we had been to. I would highly recommend to anyone! Also, Debbie is awesome!

A tricky sensor problem came up with my beloved 2014 Sportwagen TDI. No longer a car they commonly see. They did their homework and provided a perfect fix for a reasonable price. Very pleasant experience. Wish they were closer to my home.

I got a Great car. BUT; after the purchase of my car everything went down hill. The customer service after you get the car is absolutely TERRIBLE. They told me my car was under manufacture warranty for the maintenance including all discrepancies as well as the next several oil changes. Well when I took it in for my first oil change they charged me $145.... which is DOUBLE what I would have paid down the road. They told me they would get a spare key for me, 4 months later have not received one or even a call about one. They took 2 months to even get me my registration paperwork so I could even register my car. After several weeks of calling and leaving voicemails with no returned calls. I finally had to go in and ask for them to print my registration papers right then and there. Any time I have called for anything they either don't answer the phone or tell me they will find out and call me back later. I have not once received a call back from anyone from this dealership regarding anything (except when I was buying the car and they wanted my money). It is such a pain to get anything done. I scheduled an appointment about 2 weeks after purchasing the car to have some things looked at and my car sat up at the dealership for an entire day and they did not even look at my vehicle. They did not offer a loaner for me or anything. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they can't even get your car in? I asked to be called back when the appropriate service providers were in and never received a call. Then you have to TRY to schedule another appointment in hopes they will actually do something. but then you're out of your car for at very least another day. All in all I would AVOID this dealership. Unless your plan is to purchase only and not get anything else done or taken care of on your new vehicle. Pleasant purchasing experience, AWFUL after the fact. AWFUL, I can not stress that enough. The only good thing about this dealership is Dalton. He's very nice friendly and helpful but he is not able to help with any of the things after a purchase. PROMOTE DALTON! He and Hannah are the most effective people in the entire building.The Service Department needs serious help.

I recently purchased a pre owned Tiguan with a warranty through a third party. Not only did Team Gunther VW honor the warranty but did all the leg work, documentation and payment so I had no headache to deal with regarding the transaction. 100% seamless. In addition, Bryant and the Tech thoroughly inspected the car, beyond the repair, to verify that it was road ready. Best service interaction I ve encountered in some time. Thank you!

I am a Volkswagen fan. Have had great experience buying from VW Daphne but terrible luck with the service department, until recently. The service department has a new Fixed Operations Director. His name is Shaun McGallagher. Let me tell you he has restored my faith in this dealership. For the first time in the years I have been dealing with VW of Daphne I have gotten great service, fast results and not a bunch of lies. Also this new Director actually picks up and returns phone calls. So happy with the experience we had this time around. Great knowing that there is someone who cares and stands by their word. Thank you Shaun. Nice to know we can not only love driving our three VW vehicles but now we can love the experience of knowing if they need fixed we are going to be taken care of. Two huge thumbs up on our experience look forward to future visits for our car maintenance

I can hardly get an answer and no one ever calls back from the service department. Took all of 2-3 months to get in contact with service team. And of course never a loaner car available. This place has gone downhill since Steve (manager / supervisor I believe) left. They used to be my top place when he was there. I Don t know what happened but I can t do it anymore. Used to be my place since 2017. Problems started at the end of 2022

Tim and the maintenance crew did a great job on my Tiguan. They were able to diagnose and resolve the issue I was having a bit quicker than I expected and got me back on the road.

I would give zero star to this dealership.The dealership has violated the Unfair Deceptive or Abusive Act and Practices (UDAAP) regulation.Here is a summary of violations:1. Deceptive statement - it was never disclosed to me during the leasing process that the registration fee on an electric vehicle is almost $500 annually, while the dealership gets a tax credit in a few thousand dollars.2. Deceptive statement - the sales team promised to me that I can charge the car for free at the dealership. I texted the sales person prior to coming to the dealership to ensure that the car could get charged. However, when I got there, the charger was not working and the sales person took my car to another dealership without my permission. After he returned the car, it was still not charged.3. Deceptive statement - the sales team stated that if anything is wrong with the vehicle, I should bring it to the dealership anytime for servicing. The car shows a warning sign now "Please perform inspection". I reached out to the servicing department to find out that this dealership is not authorized to work on my ID4 car and the only option I have is to go to Pensacola or Mobile. I specifically came to the Team Gunther dealership in Daphne to avoid driving long distances and I clearly expressed this prior to signing the lease.4. Abusive practice - I leased the 2022 ID4 car on 9/14/2023 and now it requires inspection after 3,000 miles. Why would inspection be required at this time? Am I going to be charged for inspection?5. Deceptive statement - the sales team assured me that I would not need to worry about maintenance of ID4 during the lease duration. Apparently, this is not true.6. Deceptive statement - the sales team pressured me to lease ID4 by saying that I will be saving a lot of money. However, it's not true. I am spending more money and time on this vehicle.In order to resolve this situation, I request to terminate the lease agreement and return UD4 with the option to lease a different VW vehicle.My attempts to contact the Finance Department and Sale Managers did not produce any results. They either hung up or me or never returned my calls.The response to my review did not make any sense. The dealership just brushed me off and asked to remove my review. Horrible!

WORST service department I have ever seen. My car has been there for 6 weeks for a check engine light. Two weeks ago, they said the diagnostic machine is still not working . After 4 weeks. I have heard nothing since. They don t answer the phone and don t return my messages. If I could give negative reviews, I would give this a negative 5 star rating.

No one ever answers the phones or calls with any updates. I had to go up to the service department in person to get any and all updates. Every time I showed up to get an update on my car the service desk staff was outside taking to the service techs or each other and smoking/vaping which I guess is why no one ever answers the phones. They rescheduled me two separate times just to get a new key fob programmed and when that was finally completed the person that pulled around my vehicle for me to pick up accidentally broke the steering wheel lock when she was readjusting the steering wheel. So that led to them keeping my car for an additional 10 days to get that fixed! They also promised to detail my car to make up for all the issues but that never happened. My issues started with the VW service department and ended with the Kia Service department. Apparently they're in the process of combining the Kia service dept and the VW service dept which only adds to the issues and confusion.

I purchased a vehicle at VW of Daphne (from salesperson Dalton Bergeron) brand new on September 4th, 2023, over two months ago and the dealership has yet to correctly send my registration and taxes to my local government office.Checks have been made for incorrect amounts, they have been made out to the wrong governing bodies, I have never had the dealer reach out to me, it is always me calling them to try to get it sorted. In recent days I have been calling the dealership up to 8 times daily to try to get ahold of sales manager Troy Robinson, and he hasn t returned any of these calls in over a week. I have since had to get VW of North America involved. In the time it has taken to try to resolve the issue my temporary tag has expired and the dealer has told me they overnighted one on 2 separate occasions but they never provide a tracking number or shipping details, and the tag never shows up.Do not be lured in by the competitive prices. This dealer will take your money, let you leave with a car, and then fail so horribly on the paperwork side that you end up with a brand new car that you can t legally drive on public roads because they cannot be bothered to fix their mistakes or send you a temporary tag in the meantime.

The service department is the worst I have ever encountered. God forbid your car, while still under warranty, breaks down and you don't have an appointment. Our car sat there 10 days before we had to get it towed somewhere else who put a new battery in it within 20 minutes and sent us on our way. VW never even looked at it. They did not answer the phone or return voicemails when we were trying to get an update. They do not offer a loaner vehicle despite holding yours hostage for over a week with no update provided. We are going to sell our vehicle so we never have to deal with this place again

This dealer's accounting department cannot be bothered to fix their mistakes when they mess up your registration. You will be stuck with expired tags 30 days after your purchase

Do not buy a vehicle here. Their accounting department does not send you your registration and then you re stuck with a new car that you can t drive. They won t return your calls either.

My car has been in the services department for almost 3 weeks. Was told over a week ago parts had arrived. Loaner Vehicle is never available. When calling to get updates they either don't answer the phone, you leave a message and never get a call back. If you in fact get someone they tell you they will call you back and never do. Just save yourself the hassle and go to the dealership in Mobile.EDIT: Yes I did speak with her today. Called Thursday of last week and was told I would get a call back in 10 minutes. Never did get a call back. Today being Tuesday 5 days later and no update I placed a call to get an update!

I purchased a used car from Will White and the entire experience was fantastic! The dealership is tidy and clean. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and most importantly for me, the entire process did not take all day like it does at most dealerships. Will was fast but efficient and made sure to handle everything in a quick and neat manner. I will definitely be returning here for my car needs. Thank you Will and VW team!

Do not purchase a vehicle here, they will send your taxes and registration to the wrong governing office and then take 2 months to fix it, all while your temp tag is expired.
