Come out my door to someone repoing my vehicle. Without knocking on my door, to acknowledge me that they were going to take it. Then I had to drive an hour and a half, just to find out that I m being charged $25, just to claim my personal belongings. Which they didn t even have enough change in the drawer for. Gave me an half ripped $10 bill. And what makes it even worse. They threw away $50+ of my colognes.Had terrible care with my car. Scraped the bumper on the curb, setting the alarm off, on the way out of my driveway.This place is so terrible.. would definitely not ever recommend this..Would definitely sue if I could..

They are sneaky and they are liars. They stole my baby s car seat. Went to the Hueytown location to get my property they had 2 big black trash bags waiting on my the car seat was on the list of things when I had to sign the man said my car seat was in the bag. I get home and the car seat is not there. I figure it is still in the car. A couple days later I go to pick up the car and the car seat is not there and the man is now saying it s in carbon hill!!! I m still trying to locate it at this point I just want the money I paid for the car seat. They are thrives and liars!!!!

I felt deeply let down by the service Susan offered when I sought information on obtaining plates while residing in another state. I simply asked for general guidance, but she responded with yelling, attitude, and abruptly hung up. Upon calling back, I was transferred to another representative who left me on hold indefinitely. This experience reflects the 2.7 rating your service has garnered, highlighting significant deficiencies in customer service etiquette. Waiting over 15 minutes for a simple inquiry only adds to the frustration.

Terrible would be an understatement. Had a car repo ( no fault of my own) but still went to retrieve car and items only to find multiple items missing that can not be replaced or fixed. My gold necklace that is a keepsake containing my brothers ashes was stolen they even went as far and telling me I must not have went thru my bags looking enough or it just wasn t in my car like I dare not know exactly where I put it. They kept a full case of drinks went thru personal backpacks and claimed to have thrown away 10 9mm bullets that were in an extra clip in my glove box. Not only are the workers stealing because they know they can they women answering the phones are just as rude and unprofessional. If I could ve called the police on them I absolutely would have. I own a Finance Company in Birmingham Al. I contacted this company to repossess a vehicle locating in Tuscaloosa. They charged my company $500 plus $150 to transport to Birmingham. They recovered the vehicle which is a BMW AWD vehicle. They NEVER answer their phones or return an email. The held the vehicle for seven days before delivering it to my business. The worst part is they illegally gained entrance to the vehicle with tools to unlock the vehicle (they did not have a key)! They retrieved items and returned to customer WITHOUT obtaining a key. Nick Keeton who like the rest of his staff is incredibly arrogant. He told me in an email that He retrieves over 800 vehicles a month for Adesa & Americas Auto auction but the truth is these companies have a contract with subprime lenders like Credit Acceptance and others. They re completely unprofessional and if they treat customers who have been repossessed like they treat Finance companies then I understand why they have a 2.7 google review! Hope nobody ever has to deal with business!! I will report them to the BBB and State Attorney General. I suggest customers with complaints do the same.

My car was repoe yes, I paid the money owed to get it back day of the repossession and was told car would be ready the next day. So I called talked to lady she was really rude right off. Just because I had my car repoed doesn't give you the right to be ugly towards someone. You didn't know what was going on that person's life at that time, why they couldn't make that payment. Ive heard so much about this company but I have no choice to deal with them because that is where Credit Acceptance sent my car. I have stressed to the finance company that the people are really ugly when I called. My car was not ready they actually made me believe that my car wasn't even there because she wouldn't even tell me anything except that we don't have your car in the system. This place needs to do better or find someone with more compassion for the customers that come into there facility.

I took my cousin to get her belongings and these people are the most rude people I've ever encountered in my LIFE. I've lived in most all southern states and have never come across such vile human beings. They act like they have stolen something and just got caught. After reading the other reviews it looks like that's exactly what happened. What's bad about it is, I only took my cousin there, didn't say a word to them until the woman at the counter and the man in the "yard" started screaming at me for where I had parked. (I've never been here how am I supposed to know where to park?) Also they took her stuff down the road and soaked it when it was supposed to be in storage. This place needs shut down ASAP!!!!

This place gets a lot of bad reviews from people who lose their vehicles because they didn t pay their bill. My car was repoed MY fault, not theirs. I called them before my car was even in the system and the woman there was professional, courteous and very helpful. Of course I was angry at first but she has a way with people. I calmed down and just realized it was my own problem. I got my appointment, arrived at their lot. Everything was very quickly done and very organized. I got everything that was left in my car and I m glad that if it had to be somewhere at least it was at a respectable BUSINESS.

The receptionist is rude and you have to set up an appointment to pick up your stuff or car which makes no sense. When we got there to get our stuff out of the car they had already bagged everything up. I did not like that at all. They had no right touching our stuff. We only wanted to get a few things til we could get back to get the car.

My car was picked up and towed by this company as a repo. I have no issue with that part of the situation. My issue is with the way they handle the customers. I called to request an appointment to pick up my personal property. I was given a day to come and the address to the Carbon Hill location. That day comes and I drive an hour to the location just to be told I have to go to the Hueytown location instead because my property is not there and key was needed. It was too late tp make it to Hueytown because the tow driver was already closed or about to close. I waited a couple days and called to ask to make sure Hueytown is the location and then I am told I have to drive BACK to Carbon Hill because my property is now in Carbon Hill and received another appointment. On day of 2nd appointment I get to Carbon Hill location and when I handed the lady my ID she tells me I need to call finance company for a release of property ! Like how did you all not already know this? I called the finance company and spoke to them and begged for them to expedite everything so I would not have to come back. Once everything was received I then retrieved my one bag of items. In bag I was missing some of my property such as purses , plate covers, business material and a registered firearm of mine. I told them what was missing and the lady did not care she pushed off to the guy in the red pickup truck. The black guy in red truck also played stupid. They are thefts and they employ thefts. The bad reviews are correct and if your car is taken by them please be aware. I had to report my firearm stolen and and name them as the establishment that took it.

Worst customer service in the entire world. This lady at the front desk has the manners of a buzzard. She is so rude she should have I am racist tattooed on her forehead. I see why some has broken the glass on the front window and their is a bullet proof glass between her and the customer. Susan really thinks the slavery is still alive and she can talk to black people any kinda way Sista you need to wake up and get it together; we no longer say yes ma am just make others feel good about their insecurities. The star rating is a negative 1000.

Honestly the bad reviews are from bitter people. Yes my car was repoed nobody fault but my own. I called Monday morning after a Friday repo. The lady was so nice and even gave me a bible scripture. I was able to get my car Monday morning before it was even processed. Reviews are good but go on your own personal experience...even in a bad situation, it was not so bad

OK THIS PLACE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL! I JUST LEFT THERE THE LADIES IN THE FRONT ARE OK.BUT THE MAN that work for them I feel like he stealing. I left my muffler in my car ITS GONE SO I CALL CREDIT ACCEPTANCE THEY CLAIM ITS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. Someone really need to report this place !!!!!! They stealing people belongings!

I will not even give this place one star. They are terrible. My car was repossessed sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning which I realize as I am getting ready to leave for work on Saturday morning, I am a healthcare worker by the way. So I call finance company which is a whole other story. My car was never supposed to have been picked up to start with. But they send release for my car. So I immediately call 24/7 recovery to get my car. No answer called for hours with no response to messages or emails. So finally drive to carbon hill and hour from me. No one is there. There were two more numbers on the sign repeatedly call them no answer or straight to voicemail with no response to messages. Finally contact several other recovery companys in carbon hill even reach out to the police because by now I have walked the property and my car is no where to be found. Find out that 24/7 has a holding lot in hueytown which is where I just drove from. Go back home and call again all day Sunday with once again no response. Now here it is Monday morning I have called they now say they have no release for my car so call bank they had to send it twice because first time recovery says they did not receive it. So now 24/7 hasn't release but surprise I still can't have my car. Because we are under a state of emergency for "POTENTIAL" winter weather. POTENTIAL! So I am told I can't get my car until Thursday. Ok so can I have my stuff because I have to work and all my equipment is in my car. Now they can go to work and I'm sure go tow wrecked cars but they can not unlock the lot where my car is so that me a essential healthcare worker can either get my things for work or my car. This is total BS. I am gonna go ahead and apologize on their behalf if you have to deal with these people because they are terrible. And I called govenor ivy office to inform them how their essential workers are being treated.

OMG I HAD TO DRIVE TO CARBIN HILLS. I was so nervous, it was an hour and a half from my place of living and employment. I could not believe Credit Accept... sent my car (Becky), so far away. I had to remember that the company Credit Acceptance is LOCATED in Michigan. 24/7 was in the unknown land. I had to pay a 50.00 fee, I asked the woman what the fee I had incurred, she said ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. REALLY. TAKING my belongings from my car, throwing them in a trash bag. Throwing out all my expensive chemical and washer fluid and other items, my YETI CUP, ok I was very polite I just wanted to get the hell out of there. How the f,,,, do a company strip ur car of it's belongingand send ur car away. Like really. I blame Credit Acc., so the big woman in the chair says we will get ur belongs wait in ur car. U don't say that to me it was 99 degrees lady. Guesswhat they had my TAG, LEAVE THE F,,, TAG ON THE CAR. DONT PLAY... CRED ACCEPT. how dare u. Have one company strip acar take all the change and dollars and any expensive things they want. In a matter of 24hours. Credit Acceptance should be shame, this is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I AM an essential worker, an a child of mine experienced Cov.19. No mercy. Now I must pay an extra 20.00$. A month on a car that I had to have detailed, because so many people touched my car. God got me tho. Dont ever think u giants beat us..Because its called class action. Let's all take and reflect, Alabama is has no lemon laws or shall I say us as consumers vs company's don't matter. In regard the big lady was just following orders, and she was sweet. So I give her 5 stars. For being polite and sweet. Blue a proud US AIRFORCE VETERAN, dealing my Cred. ACCEPT.

The so called "MEN" are terrible and to boot they steal people's stuff out of the cars... hell I guess they need it more than we do idc about the small materialistic stuff for real but obviously they do..yall can have it homeboys..and we can tell that your mother's didn't raise you right because you wouldn't be stealing from people!...on the other hand the females in there are sweet as pie! I thank y'all for catching me off guard because now I have a another car with NO CAR NOTE

So I am seriously never the type of person that write reviews; however my experience with this company has been beyond horrible. The get zero stars from me. My car was towed and I was told that it was taken to Twenty Four Seven Recovery. So lets start on 01/15/2020 I called around 9 AM maybe 10 am to set up an appointment (because as you know if you call the number that they provide for you you have to set up an appointment because they have many different locations.) So I did just that. My appointment was set for 01/23/2020 (A WEEK LATER) from 3-4. So of course I has to leave work at 2 in order to get my things out my car because Carbon Hill is 1 hr away from where I'm located. I get there and I overhear one of the ladies say that the car has been there for 8 days ( which makes no sense that means the car would've been there when I set up the appointment.) So the lady that was assisting me tells me because they did not have the key to my trunk they couldn't get the stuff out of there and my car is in Hueytown which of course I can't make because they stop taking appointments at 330 and it was 315 before I even got to Carbon Hill. So I asked her ya'll didn't think to call me and she responds oh we just found out like right now. LIKE HOW???????????????????????????????????????????? Do ya'll not have notifications for appointments? So I wasted money because I had to put gas in my car and I wasted time that I will NEVER get back. All it took was for them to call me. And then she had the nerve to ask me if I could come back the next morning? Like what tf is wrong with ya'll? Delete me comment I will replace it. I'm am beyond furious with this company.

This place is terrible wouldn t let me get my kids car seat out of my car wouldn t release my car on a Friday when they were suppose to be open. Not to mention when I did get my car back every malfunction light was on it. Very unprofessional they need to be shut down

This location is the absolute worst the lady at the front desk has a terrible attitude it s clear that they don t train the employees on customer service they lie and say they will call you back and don t they lie and say they ve sent you appointments that they didn t and will make you reschedule for missing an appointment you never knew you had most of their employees are condescending the lot in Hueytown, AL has way better customer service than this one they need to be closed down.
