I recently had the opportunity to do business with this company and from all the times I spoke on the phone they always told me they would get right on it. Well... a month later and they had not even started on my vehicles when they told me a month earlier that they would get started right away! These are company vans and our guys need these vans during the summer to do their job. I will not recommend anyone to this company. The customer service is also not the best. Me or my company will NOT be using Sand Mountain Transmission again!

On the 19th of April 2023 .the company I work for trusted this company to work on our company vans, which are the main necessity of our line of business. Especially with the summer coming up. Here it is May 31st and they hadn t touched them! Well $500.00 later for another towing we had them moved to another shop! WE WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH SAND MOUNTAIN TRANSMISSION EVER AGAIN!! Thanks for NOTHING!! They d get zero stars from me! But you have to give at least 1 to post a review Service: Transmission

Have had nothing but good experience with this shop. Wife use to run mail route and fixed her car quickly. Fixed my daughters Tahoe in a 4 days. Would have been faster but parts was hard to get like everything else now days. Its amazing how many cars they fix a week with just 4 guys working there. There is always 50+ autos there waiting to be fixed. Best around for getting it right!Service: Transmission

Dropped my truck off and they said it would be done in about a week or two. Haha 5 weeks later they still didn t even touch it. I ve always heard good things about them but if your needing your vehicle in a reasonable amount of time forget it. I understand things take time but dang 5 weeks and still have even touched it there s no excuse but laziness. I would never recommend them to anyone.

This people offer close to the same prices as Ricky hill transmissions. The people who work here are extremely rude and I brought my car there to be fixed, it has been a month and I finally decided to call and ask when he'd get around to my car, he told me the next week. So the next week, he still didn't have it done so I picked it up and brought it somewhere else. Not to mention they are extremely rude here and needless to say just slow. When I went to pick up my car he was talking to a guy that brought him a car and said he would have it out for him the next day! So my car sat here for one month, one week, and some days and he hadn't even touched it. I will never bring him a car again not will I recommend anyone to go here unless they are buddy buddy with the owner. They get the high speed service advantage.

They charge the same as Autozone, for a rebuild, but you don t have to make a mess in your garage, you don t need to rent a trans jack, you don t need to dispose of 12 quarts of trans fluid, and best of all you don t have to pull transmission and transfer case, top quality, good price.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Very nice people, Told me my transmission was going out in my car, Gave me a price of how much it was going to cost to fix it, They had it fixed in a week. I haven't had any more problems with my transmission since, if you need work on your transmission take to these guys they know what they are doing.

Fair and honest business. Another shop wanted $4500 to replace my transmission and they were able to rebuild it for 1/2 the price.

This is the worst place ever to bring your car I bring it up here say it's only going to take a couple weeks took a month a couple weeks to even find out that they say that they cannot work on my vehicle because it has a carburetor on it when it was fuel injected these people have when that has no problem to do with the transmission these people have zero respect and integrity is very sorry prior to getting my truck back home paying $75 for a wrecker service I found out that they burn my starter up and also messed up my switch in my steering column do not ever bring your vehicle up here this is the worst place ever to go be better off working on your vehicle by yourself and they will not replace anything that they mess up!Service: Transmission

Very rude and had for two weeks and supposed to of rebuild my transmission but now slips in second when it was slipping in 3rd I would not take my vehicles here again

Great group of guys they do not work slow their work takes time so therefore it does take a while. The guys were extremely nice.

Took truck and left it for two weeks and it still slips. This place need to be reported in think I'll do that
