I want to say thank you to all the mechanics and staff. I really appreciate the hospitality that I was shown while I was there. I have been having the same issues with my truck since last year and you guys figured it out in 3 days!!! I will make sure that my truck comes to this shop anytime I'm in Birmingham

I'm an owner operator, my company is Emergency Transport Services LLC. MC#1591098. I've had work done to my 2020 T680 Kenworth at the Birmingham AL. location as well as at there Defuniak Springs FL I well say the most honest and kind people I've come bye in a long time. It's nice to find a company I can trust in these hard times. If you need there service's, I would give them an A+.

I took my truck in because I was having an electrical issue.And I wanted the DPF system clean. And I need to the slack adjuster replaced . And I had a few other things done to the truck.They called me 15 days after I took the truck in said it was ready. I got 30 miles down the road. Electrical problem happened again.So I take it right back to them. 5 or 6 days later. They tell me they found the problem. They got it fixed.Ever since I've picked the truck up. My fuel knowledge has decreased by 3.5 to 4 miles a gallon. And if I idle the truck at night. I have to do a regen every morning. I take it back by there. Talk to the service manager. Scott says they can't find no problem wrong with my truck. I wasn't having to do a region every day before. I brought it to him and I was getting way. Better fuel mileage before they clean my DPF system . I have call to try to talk to the general manager. His voicemail is not working half the time. They don't answer the phone very disappointed witn my experience with kenworth in Birmingham. It spent money and got a truck that's worse than it was before it went there

Had to have a cam changed,it was done in just a couple of day,pick it up got a few minor things not done air leak and exhaust leak behind turbo,no excuses,pulled right back on supposedly fixed minor issues, now 500 miles away truck shutting down on me,coolant comeing out front of motor....so who pays for tow,lost load that has to be recovered and lost wages for an incompetent mechanic?

Boyz n Gurlz if you need to get your truck worked in in this area THIS is THE PLACE TO GO TO. I came in with a coolant leak (blown hose) and inside of 4 hours I was fixed and ready to go.... very nice facilities, including showers, sleeping rooms, laundry, Break Room with vending, microwave and soda fountain and more.Top shelf experienced mechanics that know their stuff.....#yeahImimpressed#MHC#CANTHOLDACANDLETOTHESEGUYS

Fantastic parts department, and they accommodate drivers VERY well! But, went to get into my truck, the person who test drove it, got grease and oil all over my seat, steering wheel, arm rests and shifter.

Had clutch replaced. First off tech put it in backwards, which tells me no supervision. Then broke and did not replace 2 grease lines on trans. Took 8 days to get it done and it lasted only 13 months. 1 month past warranty. Could not recommend this location but Larry from corporate saw this review and worked the Montgomery shop and fixed my issues at no cost. That's standing your work.

People in the service office and shop were friendly and attentive and they have an excellent drivers lounge.I was only having a minor issue resolved but they had me in and out in about an hour

I had an issue with my parking brake warning light and sound that was very worrisome, it wouldn't turn off even while driving. I called and spoke to Hannah who told me to bring it by and she would try to get someone to give it a quick check. They quickly resolved the problem, a sensor/switch of course, and had me rolling in no time. Fortunately I didn't have to put it in the shop because like everywhere else they are swamped. It is good to find a place with people who can take care of minor things to keep us moving while other staff are working on the bigger jobs. Thanks Truckworx! I will be back for sure.

Very bad department they don t know how to behave or talk with other party ! And they never call you back ! And they just pretend they write down your information but In reality they don t ! No skills no communication nothing ! I m sorry but I thought KW is best may be only machinery but you guys don t ! Have a gr8 day ! And if you have any problem with your customer go ahead call me at anytime and I ll teach you how to take care of your customer

Customer Service is a JOKE! Called at 8:30 a.m. by 9 I just hung up and called someone else for parts. I think Repeating yourself every minute for 30 minutes to get to the parts department only to be greeted by Very Grumpy Employees on the phone just isnt worth the headache.

Horrible experience. Watched trucks come and go since I have been here. I have been waiting since Monday for work to be done, it is now Thursday. now they tell me that I must wait until at least Saturday because they finally ordered a part they would need and it won't be here until late Friday.I have been given 4 different estimates, one for $6499 which was approved and later one for $6700 that they wanted to wait for approval. I was there for a whole work week. They can give me a $200 discount or at least order the parts needed.I was told that my truck would be looked at Monday. Did not happen. I told them that I could not afford a hotel and they said no prob, we can pull your truck out of shop so you can sleep there. Did not happen.They have locked their doors today because of the virus. I have been more exposed to the virus because of my wait. I had very little interaction with the public before my break down. If I exposed them, it is too late for them because I was waiting in their lobby for 4 days. However, If I am exposed due to my wait or them kicking me out of the facility to protect themselves, I truly intend to sue. From Google "Nearly 1.25 million�people�are killed in�car accidents each�year. That means, on average, auto�accidents�cause 3,287�deaths per day.Oct 17, 2019". They have a greater risk of death by using their cars than catching this virus.I can usually run 600 to 700 miles a day at rates close to $2 dollars a mile. They have cost me a minimum of 6 days of work. I am paying for their incompetents. A driver told them she had a sensor problem. $4000 and two days later, after replacing a harness, they said she had water in a sensor. At least they apologized.Avoid this place at all cost. They will sweet talk you and Give you promises. In the end, they only care for your money and will throw you in the streets to save themselves.It is now Saturday and they are hoping to have the work done by Sunday.It is now Monday and they are saying Tuesday.I did get out Tuesday. The second shift on Monday tried very hard to get me out that night but coolant line broke. Kenworth put a tent out and more comfortable chairs. Provided us with water and electricity. Everyone was friendly. The second shift was outstanding. Because of this and the comfort they tried to provide, I am upgrading the stars.

Nice facility and the employees seemed eager to help. Got truck into triage within an hour and now it's a waiting list. They seemed to be extremely busy. So....we shall see how it goes

Highly recommend! Pulled in without appointment on Monday 7:00am with truck in derate caused by scr faults, got my truck back fixed by 5:00pm.Everybody is super friendly and super helpful, cool waiting room.

My Wife and I came down there on Monday the17th and drove in and parked our pickup and walked around and looked for what inventory we found on line with intention to purchase a Truck. Not only was nothing there but receptionists was extremely rude, she had no knowledge of anything available and all she was interested in was playing with her phone. Never one time did she offer to call a sales person or sales manager.......needless to say yall lost about a $200k sale today.

Put my truck in the shop where. I know everyone is short on staff but they got to my pretty quick. They did what I asked them first and called me to approval to investigate more. My truck was down for two weeks but for the time 10/2/2021 their was backlogs everywhere. When my truck was done the job was completed in a very professional mannerMy brother had come in town who has been working at Cummins remanufactor faciliry in Colorado an has been a heavy equipment mechanic for 30 yrs. He gives this shop thumbs up for the work they did an professional efforts.I waited so long to review cause I wanted to see that visual I saw was also in workmanship. .I suggest just be patient kind an courteous an you will be fine. Everyone these days is understaffed.Have a good day.PS. I head replacement done at this facility.

Seen it from the freeway. Needed a new mudflap bracket and oil pressure sensor. They had both in stock for my 2007 T-800... Not a bad price... Easy in and out, limited parking though.. not a lot of people in parts area so it was quick... Would I stop and shop again? Yes.

What a bunch of crooks! Went in due to a line the size of a ball point pen and 5 " long that connects my sleeper air bag. Took 5-7 min to install and they charged for a whole hour of labor $136.00!! They would not adjust it even after talking to the service manager! They charge less for a DOT inspect! Would not recommend! Hard to find a parking spot also! Don't waste your time there! Better to go somewhere else! This location is in Birmingham Alabama! Unfriendly folks!

Work was done in a timely manner but everything after that was extremely slow. My truck was done for 3 hours before I knew it. No one called or came to get me. I finally got tired of waiting, had to chase someone down to find out what was going on and was told my final bill would be complete soon. 20 minutes later I went to my truck, got everything ready, hooked to my trailer and went back in, still no bill. I finally asked for a manager and was then treated as if I had committed some crime. The manager(I guess), Tim, was very helpful and got my ticket to me so I could pay and leave.

Truck in shop for 1 week. They said they fixed it. The low coolant light kept coming on. They said it was leaking. I repeatedly asked them to check the sensor. She basicly said no it was just leaking. So next couple days the fricking light is on and buzzer still going off. When my husband took it back today they said it would be a couple days before they could get it in. So they wont be getting anymore of my business. Sucks because there so close to were I live. A waist of time and I lost a week of work. They should really should be held responsible for this.

Took a dpf filter in to be cleaned. I went to pay for the service and there was a bit of confusion about the invoice. Justin in the parts department fixed the mix up and made it right. Excellent service!
