Terrible warranty! I had my transmission installed at a reputable shop and It worked one day then started acting up. Transtar wouldn t warranty it because my truck has a tune and deletes. My stock trans lasted 100k after the deletes and tune. Apparently transtar doesn t even reman theirs to factory specs. Total waste of thousands of dollars! Beware do not buy a transtar transmission. I wish I would have bout a jasper. My truck has been in and out of a transmission shop for months with the same answer bad unit needs replaced and they won t warranty it! I will be sure to tell everyone with ears about it!

Update: after years of dealing with these rude, horrible people I pray they go out of business!! Dennis is a train wreck and he and the others will allow the drivers to lose our checks that we meticulously photograph giving to the druvers who make 50 cents an hour like slave labor and the drivers will lose the checks and transcum will CLOSE DOWN OUR ACCOUNT.They need to be sued. They are TRASH! The review below was 13 years ago.We are the crew from Kenny Robbins Transmissions and we delivered a load of cores to the Birmingham location today. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. Wendy is such a joy, shout out to her and Dennis and Dave!! Thanks so much for all you do and for the great parts!!
