Tech46 is my preferred motorcycle shop. Their professionalism and technical proficiency is unmatched in the Birmingham area- especially if you ride a euro bike. Landis and the guys do an amazing job. I won t trust anybody else with my bike.

Walked in for a light bulb replacement No problem! Needed some accent lights connected to the wiring No Problem! Service light popped up and needed maintenance No Problem! I own a rare bike from a rare manifactorior and the closest dealership is in Douglasville GA. Talked to he owner he told me No Problem I can do it after looking around the shop and seeing the retro bikes and other High-end bikes I believed him. the work is done and ready for pick up with in the time frame giving and he is local! I'm pleased with the attitude and professionalism shown and even the communication. thanks Big #1 for the recommendation and thanks Tech46!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair, Oil change

Tech46 is a wonderful bike shop , the atmosphere is friendly and there s plenty of bike memorabilia to keep you busy, Landers , Anthony and I go back more than 24 years and I wouldn t trust my bike with anyone else.

Took my BMW GS to Tech46 after other local dealerships said they do not service bikes over 10 years old! Their loss! Anyway I m so glad they recommended this place, they performed a full 25k service to a very high standard, as good as a BMW dealership would, riding the bike home it felt like new again. Pros were, Great service, very quick turnaround, super professional, Gary kept me up to date with work required and also part supply times, then the tech s finished it all with truly superb work. I would highly recommend this shop, I will be taking my bike back for future work and services. All Beware!Update .. October 17, 2023Landers nor the shop will answer their phone to discuss their options in resolving their obligation to pay the court judgement for one of two bikes stolen over 1 year ago. Landers had made an agreement back in March but then decided not to fulfill that agreement and has also decided to have no further discussions.Now we are forced to get the an attorney involved to discuss contempt of court and other options to get Landers and this business to resolve this matter.I hope that this does not happen to anyone else. We have not replaced our bikes. We are not riding as a family at this time and spend an enormous amount of time trying to get this establishment to treat their customers with respect and hold themselves accountable to do the right thing.Again, please be extremely cautious when using this business and keeping your bike over night. It ll be a nightmare to get them to do the right thing.Update . September 08, 2023Landers nor Anthony will not respond to request to satisfy the judgement from the court to pay for my stolen bike. Landers had approached me I m March with solution that he and Anthony agreed upon. This was less than the court had ordered and I accepted to resolve this. I spoke with Anthony several months later and he had not heard of the agreement that Landers had mentioned and was going to have himself and Landers call me back. Neither one of them have and now will not respond to requests to discuss solutions.Not a very trustworthy team. Please be careful when dealing with this group.Update .August 23,2023:Landers and Anthony have both not responded to requests to solve this concern. In fact they have now decided not to answer the phone or respond to texts. They show no concern or willingness to resolve a topic and take responsibility for bikes that were stolen from their shop. This shop is definitely lacking integrity and respect for the customer and the Judge that has ordered them to pay for our losses. Be careful when dealing with this company!Previous entry below Several bikes were stolen last year in two separate occurrences around July 31st. Two of the 18 or so bikes were out of our household. Landers wanted us to use our homeowners insurance versus the business insurance. It s not our responsibility nor would our insurance cover. I question the insurance that this business has. The bikes were in their shop. Their responsibility period.I am out a vintage 1982 YZ 250 which had a lot of work done at the shop. My son in law is out a 2014 Yamaha 450F.I had to taken this to court and the court awarded the judgement in my favor this past January. After many attempts (phone, vmail, texts,etc to resolve, neither Landers nor Anthony are willing to resolve this topic. The business is either screening calls or poorly answering their phones and returning messages. July 31st will be one year since the theft at Tech46 and still no bike(s) nor money that the court awarded. My son in law is waiting to see what happens before he goes through this hassle to file and having to chance down the money or replacement bike.Again .Beware! Don t let this happen to you. It s very frustrating and unprofessional that they put the burden on the owner of the bike than the shop where the bike was located. Even after going to court, they will not honor the courts decision and or work to find a solution. I have recently request a call to present an offer that helps them out and they will not respond back to texts or voicemails.I have held off posting any comments, but the team there is unwilling to resolve and I caution those considering having any work done which could result in a bad experience like we are dealing with. If you are considering, ask lots of questions about their insurance and integrity if something should happen.Service: Engine repair

this is one of the best moto shops i ve ever been too, they get right too the point & problem & take care of everything, it s almost as if they said hold my beer that s probably one of the best feelings knowing your in good hands i d recommend this place too anyone that rides! super friendly & they get the job done the right way, it s a good feeling knowing your getting what you pay for, i ve been too a bike shop in FL called 2 wheels technology and they didint fix a thing and i spent 2,500 too fix some plastics ( farrings ) !!! here i spent less then half & got what i needed! i will always come back! shout out too TECH46

We bought a 2014 Victory Jackpot from Landers at Tech 46 and the experience was amazing. He explained all the features of the bike and was very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and even gave our little girl a fortune cookie. He made us feel comfortable to ask question and was very patient.

Fully repaired in a week! Hit a pothole on highway 65 riding my 2022 cbr 1000rr. Had to get 2 new rims and tires. These guys handled the insurance claim at State Farm and made it super easy on me. Even went out of the way to get the rims I wanted. It s awesome to have the pros here in town to help and super fast.Service: TiresService: Tires

I recently acquired a new to me Goldwing. I needed tires but didn't have the ability to leave the bike. He ordered the tires for me, got them in two days and scheduled an appointment for me to be there the next morning. Super friendly and helpful staff. My bike had a wore out tire on the front and a car tire on the back. They replaced with the recommended Bridgestones. He told me I was going to be happy with the improved smoothness and handling. That was an understatement! My bike rides so much better now! Thanks for the great service Tech46!

The best Motorcycle Shop I have ever used. Gary is honest, trustworthy, professional, and will not replace anything that doesn't need to be replaced, unless you ask him, like I do. The Motorcycle dealerships will not work on any bike older than 10 years, and I have tried several Bike Shops but the people are lazy and have very poor work ethic. Do yourself a favor, use Tech46. Bike stolen from the shop on Aug 31 2022. The owner will not give their insurance information, and will not return the $175 I paid to have them pick up my bike. Shady owner who doesn't answer messages and overall they are way overpriced.Poor security systems. To date, they have a parked car in front of the spot the break in occurred, instead of actually fixing the issue and upgrading their security!THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR PROPERTY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Very nice and fair guys. Had a pesky oil leak on my 2010 Triumph Bonneville and they fixed her right up very quickly at a fair price. Extremely pleasant people to deal who really seem to care about the condition of your bike instead of just caring about profit. If you are in Birmingham area and own a motorcycle I would definitely give them a call for any maintenance needed. I will surely be a returning customer. 5 stars earned.

Surprised to find this motorcycle shop so close to my office so I brought it in for a tire on my cruiser. Effortless transaction and top-notch work! They listened to my concerns and even explained to me the origin of a brake lever issue that I misguided myself about. Lander and Anthony didn't hesitate to insure I had the knowledge to make a good decision. I'll be using Tech46 from here on out!

The mechanic here really took care of me.. I came in with my first wreck and insurance claim. He helped me figure out what actually needed to be repaired and what could ve held off until I figured out a few financial things. They contacted the at-fault insurance company and got the approval, parts, and bike ready by the end of the following week. Will be coming back here. Highly recommendedP.S. - bike looks really good. Tech 46 got my 82 Honda back on the road! Landers is a pro diagnosing accurately and quickly! Communication is stellar and pricing is as honest as it gets. I had air leaking out on my suziki DR650 and I took my motorcycle to this shop. They ordered a new tire and gave the bike back to me within a day which I felt is really professional.Other mechanic shops wont give it back so quick.Also, the owner seems really friendly and listens to whatever questions you have.

Best motorcycle shop around, hands down. I always trust them to tell me what's wrong with my bike, even if I don't believe them when they tell me and I have to go back... Again. They know what they're doing. 10/10

I highly, highly,highly recommend this place! I was on a 2600 mile road trip n my wheel bearing went out on my harley. They not only fit me in but had parts on hand and had back on the road In 2 hours! Can't enough good things about these great group of guys!

On July 03, 2019 at about 1:50 pm. I was traveling back to south Mississippi on my motorcycle when I experienced a rear flat tire. I searched google for motorcycle repair shop in my area and tech46 appeared in search results. I contacted roadside assistance and requested to be brought to tech46. I waited for over 2 hours for someone from roadside assistance to come and tow me to tech46 for a tire repair, but could not get anyone to take my request. I contacted tech46 and spoke with Mr. Landers who stated that he was short handed due to the approaching holiday (July 4th) but would try and get someone to come and tow me in so I would not be stranded on the side of the road. After about 10 minutes, Mr. Landers telephoned me back stating he was on the way to pick me and my bike up and take it back to his shop and get me back on the road. Mr. Landers did exactly that, he arrived at my location with a trailer, loaded my motorcycle and brought it to his shop, Landers and his employees, Anthony and Dustin immediately began working on my motorcycle and had it repaired and returned to me fast, about 45 minutes. Landers, Anthony and Dustin were very courteous, professional and caring about making sure I was back on the road headed home, even though they were trying to close the business for the day. I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the Birmingham, Alabama area needing motorcycle repair, to look up tech46 for all your motorcycle repair needs.

Landers and his team did great professional job on my 09 CBR 1000RR and their costs are fair and equals the great quality job they do. Definitely recommend them and will always deal with them (HONEST PPL).
