I called TAPCO after they came very highly recommended for working on classic cars. Have been trying to get my car in since October. The first time I called I was told to call back in 4 weeks which was understandable. Each time I have called since them I am told call back in 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks. I have done this at least 6 times. Three weeks ago I called and they said to call back in a week. Two weeks ago I was told to call back in two weeks and was told 30 days just now. When I asked what the deal was I was told to try another company down the street. I am fine with waiting 6 months if that s what you need but it s not right to string someone along.

I had A 2008 Lexus IS250 model Lex and Tapco charged more than the Lexus dealership by twice as much they held my car for three days without knowing what was the solution to my problem along with that they tried to charged me $450 for a diagnostic test along with the first part of the test which was $150,They wouldn t even answer the phone to inform me what was the problem along with not knowing what the problem wasWhen my father got to the site, they couldn t locate my keys They don t even label keys also unprofessional. I don t see how this shop works on Lamborghinis and foreign cars. I wouldn t even pay them to fix my mopad.

WOW WOW WOW. My experience with Tapco was 10/10. Kasey is a rockstar. So trustworthy! Something I have come to not expect when dealing with auto repair... Made recommendations that saved me THOUSANDS of dollars and didn't charge me for diagnostic even though I would've been more than happy to pay it. Will be back for all future car maintenance and I am recommending them to everyone I know.

Dropped my car off in a bit of a frenzy with what I assumed was the alternator going bad and asked them to replace it. When I picked it up the next day they had diagnosed it and said it was just a belt that needed replacing, which cut the cost down significantly. I was grateful for their honesty and will be using them for future repairs.

I had an excellent experience with TAPCO on a '96 FZJ80 restoration. They did a complete engine rebuild, turbo charger upgrade, roof rack installation, OME springs, powder coated factory rims, installed a front bumper, welded a custom rear bumper, and tons of NAPA service parts bringing this 21 year old SUV back to life. They are a first class automotive service and repair company with talented techs and ownership that can fix your daily driver or build your one of kind custom builds. Great work, exceptional service, at a fair price.

I originally dropped my car off for a brake issue they found the problem fixed it but found other problems I think they fixed it but when I got my car back the auto stop didn t work and my car sounded like a lawnmower. I took it back to them they said I had an exhaust leak. They rectified that I guess but car still sounds like a lawnmower I took it back a 3rd time for them to find the problem but this time they found another problem and charged me and extra $125 for diagnosis I thought since they were trying to figure out what went wrong they shouldn t charge that. Trying to get car in a running decent order has placed me in a bad financial position. I was not pleased with the way they handled my car and how a car comes back worse than when you dropped off. I had no issue the first time I had to use their services but this time I have concerns. I hope I don t have to use them in the near future.Car was quite but came back noisy especially when you place car in reverse, auto stop doesn t come on. No one tried to rectify the problem without creating another big bill. I have multiple sclerosis and need a dependable car. Trying to get the car completely fixed ruined me financially. Receiving an once a month disability check doesn t leave much money to work with. I had to file bankruptcy to help get me through this mess and paid another company to try to undo the damage that was caused to my Cruze. I think they might have said those were not great cars. Maybe maybe not but one thing I do know for sure my car went in with the auto stop working and no sound especially when idle and reversing. With that amount of money I lost I did expect the car to still run quite. This has been devastating to me. When little things like this is all you because health placing in situations you can t foresee it really hurts more. When my monthly money runs out that s it. I ve lost 50 lbs over this ordeal and I wish there was something else that can be done to recoup my lost. Be blessed!

Car broke down on a road trip and they got us in and helped us get back on the road same day. They were extremely nice and had great customer service. If I was ever needing a mechanic In Alabama I would not go anywhere else. They were amazing and had great fair prices. Definitely bring your car here!!!!

Good service.Took their to find why my Camry is burning oil, they asked 120 for diagnostic. They did all the diagnostic but couldn t find anything.I thought still they will charge me as they perform everything. But surprisingly they didn t take any bill as couldn t find anything. Also suggested another shop who is specialized in Toyota.Good Service.

All I can say is .. They Are AWESOME!!!! I was concerned going into this shop by myself being a female, but they took care of my car, didn t over charge, and they are QUICK! This was my first time using TAPCO.My car had a engine piece break late Saturday night and I had to be towed in after hours. I chose to try them because they had some great google reviews - a lot of people said they were helpful, honest, & good to work with.They followed up with my promptly Monday morning after opening with their diagnosis of my car, had the part ordered by the next morning, and fixed & running by Tuesday afternoon - and for a reasonable price!They answered all of my questions, were very friendly, & lived up to all their outstanding reviews. I plan to use them for my needs in the future!Thanks TAPCO

Take your car and money somewhere else, like Green Garage. TAPCO kept my car for over a week while making no attempts to contact and update me on the repair details. I had to call them daily. They did not give me an estimate for the repair and I was stuck with a $200 bill after paying them $300 the week prior. I went in for a new belt and to look at an oil leak and $500 later and my oil light is still on. Also they misgendered me (transman) the entire transaction. Very cool. Also your car will be sitting outside unlocked after they have worked on it.

I brought my car to them today as a first time customer. I'm not kidding when I say it was the best experience I've ever with having my car repaired (which is saying a lot- my car is a bit of a clunker and has a prolific history of needing a mechanic's attention). The price for repairs was completely reasonable, and I was impressed at the speed in which they were able to get my car back on the road again. They will definitely be receiving my business again, and I hope they'll receive yours as well.

I went in to get my vehicle fixed. I normally work on my car myself, but am willing to pay others to do so when problems are above my experience. I asked them to fix whatever it was that made the check engine light be on, which I knew was something with the vacuum system. I also asked them to fix two windows that weren t working. They fixed my car and gave it back to me. Well on my drive home, I discovered a rat chewed halfway through my seat belt and left dropping in the floorboard that they did not clean up. The next day I let them know when I got off work and they said to bring it in and they would fix it. And they did, but they replaced my seatbelt with a black one and my interior is grey. When they replaced my window regulators, they left metal chips from drilling all in my carpet and leather interior, so they did not do a clean job and did not clean up after themselves. ALSO, my check engine light came back on and was running the same codes as it was before I brought it to them. So then I had to leave it with them for several more days. They had my car for over one week. One last thing is that my driver window was tight before they serviced it and made no road noise. Now, it leaks air over fifty and I don t want to have to bring the car back to them for a third time. That same door now makes an awful rattling noise when it shuts, which it also did not do before they touched my car. I have had pleasant experiences with them in the past, and I left reviews those times as well but service was not what it use to be this visit.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my car here after taking it to a dealership. The dealership wanted thousands of dollars just to attempt to fix my vehicle. Tapco was able to diagnose and fix my issue for much less and did a great job. I stumbled across TAPCO on youtube while finding out what was involved in swapping the body mounts out on my F250. Along with body mounts, my truck needed new wheel hub assemblies and just someone to go over the steering issues i've had for some time, that several shops have looked at and never been able to diagnose. They were able to swap everything out and found a few things I was not aware of were contributing to the slack in my steering. The combination of fixed steering issues and the S&B body mounts, my 240k mile F250 feels like its a 40k mile truck! TAPCO gave great service, communication, and very fair rates for the amount of work done. Would highly recommend them!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Nothing but great things to say about Michael and his techs. Dropped the car off fully expecting it to need a $2000 repair. After they properly diagnosed the issue (unlike me ) it only needed a new radiator. They had it swapped and ready to go just a few hrs after dropping it off. Their professionalism, experience, and integrity really shows. I will be using them exclusively going forward.

I highly recommend TAPCO! Great service! Jeremy and Michael and the guys do great work and are very reasonable on pricing. As a woman who doesn't know jack about cars, it's easy to get taken advantage of and ripped off. TAPCO is fair and honest and run by a great group of guys. I had another repair shop quote me over $1200 to fix my car, and TAPCO found that that wasn't even what was wrong with it and the repair that needed to be made was half of what the other place told me. Don't waste your time going somewhere else!

These guys recently did a gear swap from a 4.10 to a 4.88 on my Hummer H2 and it's driven flawlessly so far. Michael and Jeremy were very friendly and great to work with. The service here is top notch and I'll definitely be back for my future automotive needs. Very competitive pricing while maintaining above-average quality. Highly recommended.

This is the only automotive shop I use and that I recommend people to, general maintenance or performance. TAPCO is extremely honest about what a car needs and doesn't need, which I can't say for most shops. They will educate you on what needs to be done. They wont sell you on something you don't need. Anyone considering TAPCO should feel confident in bringing their car by for some much needed repair!

I highly recommend Tapco. I brought my car to them after having spent a lot of money with another shop to fix my air conditioner. The other shop made the problem so much worse. The people at Tapco were able to work on my car quickly and actually fixed the problems. They spoke to me in a very professional manner and explained the problems in a way I could understand. Repairs were completed quickly, and they came in under estimate.

I was a new customer. I drive a beater, a car in it's end days that I am terrible at taking care of. I went in. They fixed the problem. They were pretty fast on a day they were busy, they were honest with me, and I don't feel like they overcharged me. And everyone was super-professional. I found them from good Google reviews, so I'll leave a good Google review. 5 stars.

Super nice guys! Honest folks who take care of business. I ve gotten some brakes work done there before and they were professional and timely. Took my car there for a broken tail light and they were kind enough to replace it without charging me. Can t recommend them enough!

I had a fantastic experience with Tapco. The particular vehicle issues I was dealing were complicated and stressful but Tapco made everything easy and hassle-free. They were consistently quick to communicate with me about issues they noticed, time frame and cost. I asked a ton of questions and they answered all of them patiently and honestly. Additionally, they did not push me to fix or change anything I was not ready to do and spent time discussing the pros and cons of fixing or not fixing a part. They went out of their way to test drive my car after fixing the starter to ensure it ran correctly and went above and beyond to contact Honda to find my radio code. The employees at Tapco made this a painless and pleasant experience. I trust them completely and can honestly say they are the only auto company I will deal with again.

Work was done quickly and well, and at a reasonable price. The crew went above and beyond to take care of me and my jeep, and put up with my constant need for updates. Will definitely use again.*Six(ish) month update*: I pulled into Tapco this morning and asked them to just listen to my engine since it's a jeep and always has some weird sound. Jeremy immediately went out, diagnosed the (non)issue from sound alone, and off I went. In and out in 5 minutes and now I've got peace of mind. Still a solid 5 star review from me.

Mike and Jeremy were great. Was quoted one price and ended up paying $50 less than quoted. The wait wasn't long and they started working on the Blue Beast ASAP. I strongly would recommend anyone in need of auto repair to try them FIRST!
