Extremely service oriented associates throughout the whole resort. Check in was efficient and professional. Restaurant staff were all showing pride and professionalism. Hot tub and indoor heated pool were clean and very comfortable.Spa visit was beyond relaxing. No huge push to upsell or oversell any additional services. No matter how long you stay, you always end up wishing it were just a little longer!

I lived a very short distance from this timeless place, in Hoover, Alabama. My Laboratory Associates and I couldn t wait for the next excuse for spending our next weekend here. This is such an amazing place for Weddings! The pool is beautiful & the spa is AWESOME! The staff and food are always wonderful as well. #deStress #relaxingRooms: Large spacious, nice rooms and most all with a gorgeous view from the rooms of the gorgeous pool & Golf Course that surrounds the Marriott.Nearby activities: The boys and girls usually split up on Saturday mornings here after breakfast; the guys can t wait to hit the golf course and the ladies of course head to the Riverchase Galleria Mall and then on to the outdoor Mall on Highway 280. These 2 Malls are my absolute personal FAVS ever! After a day of shopping, there s not far to go for almost any restaurant / Bar - They line both sides of Hwy 280 as far as the eye can see!!Safety: I don t recall ever seeing any safety issues. Modern technology seems to have this completely covered.Walkability: No issues whatsoever. This is a very large & spread out area we always had plenty of room for group exercise and then outdoor jogging as well.Food & drinks: As I stated before, the food and drinks were always superb. The employees, Chef and staff do an excellent job and go out of their way to please.Noteworthy details: Renaissance B ham is perfect for business meetings or pleasure(I have obviously visited for both and no complaints. The rooms are quite spacious and there is plenty of room. The food was always also very delicious. I have attended at least 5 to 6 Weddings here, as well as 6 to 8 business/ leisure events.

Stayed Dec 9-13th 2023. Hotel and its location were wonderful. Golf course was amazing. Front desk and bar staff fantastic. The high end restaurant Brock's was not very good. Ordered a steak that was originally overcooked and also drowned in some sort of sauce. The chef or a representative of the chef did call me after my stay to try and make amends. He promised me 30,000+ Marriott points to make up for the food not being up to their standards. I really appreciated this but the points never arrived so it seems it was just a false promise to prevent me from leaving a bad review.

The resort was very nice. The spa and golf course were top notch. However, the walls between the rooms were very thin (we could hear music and tv noise from next door). The biggest disappointment was the electric car charging station, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Only one of the two plugs was working (so we were told). Please add more EV chargers; we will not be staying here again.

Update from 12/30/23. We stayed 1 night, and 2 hours after we got there, the toilet messed up. They upgraded and moved us to another room with a view of the golf course and also gave us 2 free vouchers for the breakfast buffet. Also gave us 3000 points on our Marriott membership and a $75 credit towards our bill. The Valet (Oscar, I think) and the 2 maintenance engineers and also the servers at the buffet were very nice and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure our needs were attended to. We will most certainly stay there again and would highly recommend Renaissance Ross Bridge to anyone.I love everything about this place. I would say they could add more regular parking closer to the hotel instead of sharing it with Valet.Rooms: Clean and stocked as you would expectNearby activities: You are close to everything . There is a wide variety of different eating and drinking establishments and even ice cream shops for the late night sweets craving.Safety: We feel very safe thereFood & drinks: You are close to everything . I recently had the pleasure of booking a weekend getaway at the Renaissance at Ross Bridge with my boyfriend, despite being locals. Let me tell you, it was exactly what we needed. As someone who has indulged in countless massages and visited numerous spas, I can confidently say that the massage I received at this resort was the best I have ever experienced. The level of skill and professionalism exhibited by the massage therapist was truly exceptional. They knew exactly how to alleviate my tension and melt away all my stress. It was a truly transformative experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and at peace. While the facility may not be the most luxurious I have encountered, it was the incredible massage and top-notch customer service that made this resort stand out. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated with the utmost care and attention.Despite any minor shortcomings in terms of luxury, the overall experience at the Renaissance at Ross Bridge deserves a resounding 9 out of 10. The exceptional massage and impeccable customer service more than make up for any small deficiencies. Whether you're a local looking for a relaxing weekend getaway or a traveler seeking a memorable spa experience, this resort is an absolute gem. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I ve just checked in and am floored by how kind and wonderful everyone here is. Teddy helped me with my bags and was so generous with his knowledge and warm hospitality - he s been here for 18 years and shared so much about the history of the place. Also worth mentioning how generous and accommodating all the front desk staff are. They really do take care of their Platinum members. And the people at JTs took care of me, giving me company with great conversation since I was alone (even as they continued to do their job)Thank you for making me feel at home just one hour after arriving!

Beautiful, luxurious hotel with incredible service! Visited for a two day conference and Mod (from guest/bell services) was my saving grace. He helped me in a pinch, without hesitation, and I really appreciated his willingness to be so helpful. They are upgrading the pool area but I know it will be top notch upon completion. Would def recommend!

This is a hidden gem. Never would have thought this hotel would be tucked away right in the middle of a neighborhood. From the rooms, staff, food and spa you can't go wrong. The atmosphere was wonderful. Would love to return again some day.Rooms: Rooms were spacious and comfortable.Safety: Being that it is tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood, it gives you vibes of great safety.Food & drinks: Food is plentiful and tasty.

I went there for a company event. The event room assigned to us was very loud, meaning that if a large group of people is talking at the same time it really hard to hear the person next to you. Service was excellent and food was good.

Fire alarm was triggered in the middle of the night, I had to leave my room and forgotten to take my access card. When alarm was cleared, I asked a front desk employee to open my door, that employee said that it is not possible because name in my ID doesn t match name in their computer. Thankfully, I had a colleague in the hotel, and asked the employee to call him via internal phone to confirm my identity, the employee refused saying that he might be sleeping (of course he was), so I had to go upstairs and wake my colleague up. When my identity was confirmed, I asked the employee to copy correct data from my ID and I was told that now everything is good. Last night I decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant, and again - name didn t match (same colleague helped me again). The food(ribeye steak) was so-so and I had stomach issues at night. Result: 2 useless front desk employees who aren t able to copy 12 simple characters from one place to another + low quality food. Hiring people who aren t able to do the job is not about diversity, it is a clear sign of poor management.

The check in lady charged my charge 3x 262.00 b/c she made a mistake... reminder me and my husband are in Alabama and we are from Tampa FL ...I went back to the desk when I noticed the mistake and she is going to say sorry there's nothing I can do about it I'm sorry I made the mistake...had me and my husband standed for the rest of the trip..I need to hear back from management or I will take further action! This was unacceptable for a MISTAKE done by YOUR check in clerk this was 12/30 to 12/31 and was charge over 700$ for one night...Again a mistake done by your clerk

A diamond tucked into the outskirts of Birmingham! From the first smile to the precious ladies in the spa, the service is top notch. My friend gifted me with a massage and I was also upgraded to a Wellness Suite! From the Bryte adjustable bed to the air purifier and eucalyptus spray in the shower, Rose Bridge knows how to treat guests. If you are looking for a Christmas getaway, this is definitely it!

It is a beautiful resort that is tucked away in a private community almost in a separate town surrounded by beautiful homes. It s quiet, away from traffic, the busy noise and pace of Birmingham and Bessemer. It is nice for a vacation away though not the most convenient location if you re looking for somewhere close to everything in Birmingham. It is close to most things in Hoover though which is nice! We had a rehearsal dinner/event and worked with Alex who was incredible to work with. We had the most dinner and were incredibly impressed with the service we received, the attention they gave us, and it was worth every penny. Our friends and family were so taken aback by the intimacy of the space (two of the smaller event rooms combined) which was perfect for our 15 people. Even though it was a few hours it was an event we will never forget. Highly recommend! We stayed in one of the suites which was beautiful and we were so glad they renovated because the color scheme was much better. The only weird thing about the suite is there was a door that we could not access and was possibly a connecting room which was worrisome. The balcony and view truly is unlike anything we could find in Birmingham or anything adjacent. It is breathtaking. We stayed from a Sunday to Tuesday as our wedding was in Hoover at another location. We got ready early in the morning on Monday and the space was perfect including the little dining area space. Our friends also stayed in a room block and enjoyed their rooms though the rooms did seem a bit small for the king rooms as their only complaint. The event staff were a bit friendlier than front desk staff except we had a wonderful interaction with Doll who was absolutely incredible and one of the best front desk staff we have encountered, and I am from Las Vegas so I ve been to many hotels and resorts. The resort is a bit on the expensive side per night being a 4 star AAA Marriot resort so the people who do stay there and based on the surrounding community was something we were a bit hesitant about based on our family, friend, and our collective identities. However, with our diverse family members and friends with some who also identified as LGBT, they didn t unsafe or threatened during their stay.Tl; dr Overall, a perfect resort for events, beautiful rooms especially the suites, amazing event staff, major kudos to Doll, friends and family felt safe, a quiet and beautiful resort away from the busy and loud noise of surrounding cities.

Overall wonderful experience! Everything was great! From the moment I arrived, the Valets were welcoming, helpful, and professional. From their greeting, I knew it was going to be a fantastic stay. My expectations were fulfilled throughout my visit by the rest of the staff. The pool was nice for adults and kids. The food at The Clubhouse Restaurant was really good. My room was nice, and I especially loved the balcony view. The Spa was so relaxing. My massage therapist was incredible. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

One of the nicest and also most beautiful hotels that I've stayed in the United States. The pool and hot tub are nice, it's a big enough resort to walk around, and it's tucked away from the city and the traffic. There are a couple shops and restaurants either on the resort or nearby. Very cute!Rooms: Clean modern rooms. Everything one would expect.Food & drinks: Good bar! Great food, we had it catered.
