Super great people to work with! Had an absolute fiasco with Enterprise and the people at Mavis were so accommodating to make sure my flat tire got replaced through Enterprise and sent me on my way.

I went to this Mavis Store on two separate occasions: one for a flat tire and another one for unhooked license plate lights. The guys that helped me those days were very helpful and solved all the car problems very quickly. They were also attentive and knew exactly what to do those times I came here.

It is rare these days to receive the level of service experienced today. My wife works in Birmingham, over an hour away. As a husband it is difficult for your wife to have a flat and to be this far away. Thank goodness for men like the manager at this location. I believe his name is Jay. My wife, the mother of two girls, needed to get home to our kids. Jay took it upon himself to pull her car in and install her four new tires, not pressing his staff but taking the initiative himself. I truly appreciate this store, especially Jay. Highly recommend, he made a lifetime customer out of us.

I received the best service at Mavis Tires yesterday! I had a bolt in my tire and they were able to get it repaired and I was back on the road in no time! They were friendly, helpful and prompt in getting my tire repaired!

I stopped by just now to have my headlight bulb replaced, and not even 10 mins later I m walking out with a fresh new bulb. Jay was so helpful and wouldn t even let me pay or tip him. Had to leave a few dollars I had on hand and walk out.I just want to say thanks and appreciate your time and attention. All the other staff were pleasant and welcoming. Will be back for sure!

Great people. Jay the manager really went out of his way for me. I am from out of town and I had a flat tire. I really needed to get back on the road and Jay quickly got my tire repaired so I could get back on the road. I was in a very vulnerable position and they were honest and reliable.

The shop was busy this morning when they opened but Jay was courteous and got me checked in quickly. I received a call that my truck was ready faster than I expected. I would recommend Jay and this store to others.

Caught a nail on my way to an event and I knew exactly where to stop by. The guys here were super helpful with plugging/airing up the tire, as well as making sure all the others were good to go. Shout out to Trooper!Stopped by here with a tricky tire situation and Trooper took his time to fully diagnose the issue and eventually resolve it. Mike was also a great help and I will definitely be coming back with any tire related issues!

I visited Mavis Tires on 6th for the first time. I was immediately greeted and welcomed in. They wrote up my work order and I took a seat in the customer waiting area. The facility is very clean including the restrooms. They gave me updates on my repairs. The work was completed promptly. I highly recommend this location because of the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the facility and the updates of the work to be completed.

I take both of our cars to Mavis where we always receive great service. Tonight my wife came home with a low tire warning light. It was a nail. It took just 30 minutes and I was on the way home. The technicians were professional and courteous as always. We are loyal Mavis customers.

Have gone to the Mavis in lakeshore for the past couple years and never had any problems, the manager there Jay is incredibly helpful and kind person and has always provided me with quick service and fair pricing. I d often come by here when my tires needed air or I needed something checked out and they would always help me out free of charge. The gentleman at the front desk of the downtown location named Mark was very polite and courteous and had me in and out of the with an alignment in less than 15 minutes or so after telling him I was in a hurry. Good folks have never had a problem with them.

I acannot say how much I appreciate the staff and their service. Since 2016 I have taken my cars to this shop for routine oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacements etc first for my 2014 rav4 and now my 2021 vw. Not once have I had a bad experience or felt like I was being taken advantage of.Recently, I ve had to take my 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan in for low oil errors and check engine errors they were upfront not being able to work on certain things due to it being a vw, however they still took the time to pull the codes, run diagnostics and even refill my oil at no charge. They have been overwhelming kind and helpful.Having an auto shop I can rely on for consistent & honest service is so nice, especially as a single female.Thank you all!

Absolutely great service!! Carried a leaking tire to get checked (twice) Mark refused to accept any payment, extremely helpful, courteous. We are from out of town, but I will be traveling here for my cars needs. Well done Mark. An honest business man, can t beat that

My brakes started acting up and shaking and squealing. I called Mavis and was told to bring in my car the next day.I m a student. It s never exactly easy to coordinate car care around classes, but Mavis made it worth it. Trooper took care of my service and went above and beyond in helping me. He took his time explaining everything: he made my options clear, and made sure I understood what was needed. He didn t try to oversell or keep me on the phone. He didn t speak down to me. He was very kind and matter of fact, and let me know promptly when my car was finished.When I finished class and sprinted to pick up my car, it was very close to closing time. My phone unfortunately was about to die, and I was having issues with my payment system - my absolute worst nightmare. Trooper was extremely understanding, and patiently waited for my phone to charge and issues to resolve. He made the process so much better just by being so kind to me. I can t thank him enough.Not only was my experience just above and beyond, but my car s brakes are now smoother than when I first got the car. Thank you, to Trooper and the entire team at Mavis.

A potentially bad situation made good by Mavis Tires & Brakes in Birmingham! We got a screw in our tire and lost air fast. Mark at Mavis did us a solid by getting us right in & his technician patched us up & on our way in no time! Did I mention we were traveling across country & still had 5 hours to go? What a lifesaver!!! Highly recommend these guys - so friendly and efficient! Thanks again Mark and Mavis Tires!!

Came to Mavis T&B (6th Ave location) Wednesday at 5:20pm ( closing time at 6)....in desperate need of a tire check and removal of whatever was causing a loud clicking noise as my tire rolled on the pavement,,,I received THE BEST customer service ,, The guys were very professional, friendly, thorough and accomodating... there was a large bolt/drill bit stuck in my tire,,,, nevertheless , the tire was plugged inside and out ...in 20 minutes,,,I was so relieved,,and most of all VERY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL.... I will definitely share my experience, recommend and return for services when the need arises...#Stellarwork

What a great group of people. We broke down going through Birmingham. Our tires separated from the belts, it's a really old van. They informed us that it needed tires. They said it could use a few other things but didn't push it knowing we had to drive back to Kansas. They got the tires on quite quickly and we were on our way. The whole detour didn't take but about an hour. Thanks so much, we greatly appreciate everything!

Waited hours for 2 tires and a rotation only to be pulled aside and asked "do you remember if these were the tires you wanted removed?" Let's just skip forward another hour. My window motor doesn't work anymore and I wasn't aware I had to tell them. So after paying over $400 for 2 tires I went to my car to see the window had been lowered and it wouldn't come back up. They BRILLIANTLY decided to pull my window up by hand and then shattered it. They agreed to give me a new window and window motor the next day. I had to Uber home then Uber to work the next morning. Arrived back after work to pick up my car and was so happy to have a new window. Wasn't happy to discover they replaced the broken motor with another broken motor. I was told "these motors break but at least you have new Nissan glass." At this point he just walked away. I'm glad they fixed their mistakes but they didn't fix everything they said they would. Now my door makes a rattling noise when I close it. 100% recommend going somewhere else. Literally ANYWHERE but here.

My tire got burst and needed a new tire.The guy name Trooper he was being really nice and change my tire within 10 minutes.He was being really nice and save my time cause i have to reach work.I would recommend everyone mavis tire specially if Trooper is there he will help you out in a very good way.

Mark made my car repair experience one of the best. The shop unfortunately lost power and my car was stuck on the car lift overnight. He called me and was very apologetic. He did everything he could to keep me informed and up to date with my car repairs, going above and beyond. Go see Mark, he'll take good care of you!

Made an appt here to get new tires 2 weeks in advance. Get there, they want my husband to leave the truck with them because they were super short-staffed. They also wanted to charge him way more than the quote that was given. Total waste of time and bad business. Will not be back.

Absolutely horrible. Bait and switch. We brought the car in for a headlight change. They said the could do it and then said they d be able to do our tires quickly and with a discount while they had it. We agreed. Two hours later they call and say that there s a recall on the headlight so they can t do it. I called the dealership and NO recall. So we paid for tires that we didn t need and still no headlights that we do. Just be honest if you can t or won t do something.

I ve never had a bad experience. A lot of mechanic shops can be rude to women, but I ve never experienced that here! They always explain everything thoroughly and are very kind.

Best tire place around very helpful and grateful they were open as late as they are on Sundays. 100 percent recommend this place when visiting Birmingham and have any tire issues.

I can't say enough good things about this car repair shop! From start to finish, my experience here was outstanding.First and foremost, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I went in with a nail in my tire tread. Jay pulled it out and luckily no puncture. They sent me on my way in 5 minutes with no charge.

Great service. great people. I dropped off my tacoma here for oil change and axle seal they did both in a very timely and inexpensive fashion and i was helped by a great employee of theirs named Trooper. he was great and very knowledgeable
