They are always very freindly and courteous. They make every customer feel special. They not only do the job required fast but thouroughly. I never take my vehicle anywhere else for service if I don't have to.

Wonderful experience thanks to. ( Quinton !!) He made sure everything was topped off and everything was in order, for the service that I needed. I didn't have to ask any questions... so if you're looking for someone to do some work to your vehicle check out Mr.Quinton

I have been getting my car serviced at Express on 3rd for a while now and I can say everytime I go , I always have a great experience . The assistant manager Dee is always helpful and very knowledgeable!! He always goes the extra mile to make sure that I am aware of any and every issue ! He definitely exemplifies what a manager should be !!It has also been times where Markeith or Quinton has been able to answer any question I may have concerning maintenance or my car in general . I have never had a complaint and will continue to bring my car in for service .

Great experience with overall service. I pulled into the location needing an oil change. I also asked that they take a look at a low tire. Service was great and I really appreciate Nathan and the service.

I got to express oil with 10 minutes before closing and I was assisted n serviced all at a nice rate. Me markeith and Dee did the fastest oil change I ever had plus they had great customer service. I enjoy my visit

They were amazing I have a Mazda 6 I took it in for head gaskets motor mounts and battery. They did a outstanding job they called when they got to everything they had to as well as the price before fixing those three thing's now in under warrant if anything go wrong what a deal. They're also going to do my shocks they're going to be my auto mechanic shop for now own. Oil express on 3rd ave west. It took two day's I was a drop in now I'm out riding around smiling.

The guys at this location are AMAZING! I had a very minor emergency and pulled into this location and Mar Keith, Dee, and Larry took such great care of me! I was in and out and the service was truly incredible. I want to scream from the rooftops how great this experience was - it could have been scary but the guys kept it cool, calm, and collected and I was in and out with super friendly and fast service. Shout out to Mar Keith, Dee, and Larry - THANK YOU GUYS!

I will never come to this location again. We took my VW here back in Jan/Feb to get a routine oil change and they OVERFILLED it. This caused the car to stop working completely. They refused to pay for any tow and I am now out about $200-ish for towing then tried to sell me a new fuel pump due to their screw up. The fuel pump had stopped working automatically to prevent damage to the engine. Thankfully was able to reset the codes at another TRUSTED shop and now the car runs like a dream. They tried to give me a free oil change to smooth things over but why in the world would I let you touch my vehicle again after what happened the first time? I could do it myself but I take it somewhere for the convenience. Would highly recommend reconsidering using this particular location. I've had a great experience at nearly every other location in Vestavia, Homewood, & 280 area.Service: Oil change

3rd Ave West-Horrible!!!! Horrible customer service!!!! Rude!!!! Unprofessional!!! Came for a scheduled appointment to have a/c checked. Short black guy with short twists, 2 other black guys with dreds. Sitting around doing nothing. No other cars in the garage. Short guy is guiding me in but the other two on side of him kept making comments saying to guide me further this way and that way and up more and all of that. Big nose guy with dreds goes "On God, I know she aint gotta license!" Then yells to me "License and registration please!" When I pull it out he goes, "Shawty, you must aint got no sense of humor do ya?" I said, "Really I don't, it's too early in the morning, but that's ok I'll go spend my money in Homewood somewhere instead of here!" Then I left. Aint nobody got time for niggerish antics. Just trying to get the a/c fixed. Yall really went down since 2010. What happened to the staff? This aint it.

I had a very bad experience there and have no intentions to ever do business there again.. My car problem happened on a Saturday, and was told to bring my car in on Thursday morning. My car was over heating because of a busted radiator hose. It seem like it should have been fix that day in replacing a busted hose. But I was told they were having a hard time finding the hose for my car, and the the auto parts places sent them the hose about three different times, and that no one in the entire State has the right hose. I called a few auto parts stores in the city and they said they had the hose and gave me the hose code number.. I called back to Express Oil Change and asked if they had the same code number, but they gave me a hard time not verifying the same code number.. I ended up waiting until the following Saturday about 5pm for them to replace the hose, and I picked up my car and drove to work.. I ended up missing about 2 1/2 days of work on job, and I felt token advantage of being over change for $400 to replace a radiator hose. What I truly believe is that the manager Jeff and the mechanic C.J. lied about having a hard time getting the part for my car and held up fixing my car by probably putting other jobs before me, and then also decided to over change me.. I am a very dissatisfied and unhappy customer.... Also, they said I was charge for an inspection or diagnostic of my car, but nothing was not mentioned about another serious problem of my car constantly cutting off on me while driving. I'm referring to Express Oil Change located on 3rd Ave W. Birmingham, AL...

These guys are the absolute BEST!!! The first mechanic checked my system on Friday after I was stalled at the gas pump 10 minutes prior and systems registered perfectly. After a little Q & A from young Master Andrew, he explained that because I had gotten a boost or jump start the readings were inaccurate. I was so glad he went the extra mile. I was literally headed out of town on a 5 hour drive to the coast with my 75 year old adorable Mamma and had he not made me aware of the discrepancy in the system's accuracy we would have been stranded out on the road, five hours away from home. Because of his commitment to detail, he re-did the diagnostic, determined we had a bad battery and possibly a bad alternator. He was right. I went across the street, purchased a new battery from the local parts store and Mom and I headed out. Our trip was relaxing and enjoyable thanks to Expresss Oil Change on 3rd Ave. in Birmingham. Upon my return, I swung back by the shop for a quick diagnostic after the trip...Andrew gave us the all clear. It turns out all we needed was a new battery. Mom and I can't wait to hit the road again. Thank you young Master Andrew, you saved two old ladies a lot of "side of the highway" grief!!!

Went for an oil change, car immediately started driving different once I get it back and I took it right back. Oil started pouring out of my car and instead of them fixing what they messed up, they said it was ware and tare and would eventually happen . Called corporate and haven t heard back from them since. I ve been without a car for months now.
