I absolutely love this place. I have had a lot of different things done here and have never been disappointed. Pricing is great and customer service is amazing. They take great care of my blue 06 Dodge charger rt. Also because I don't work and I'm a single mom with a disabled son I can finance my service through Snap finance and be on my way. I love all of these guys.

Good service, it took them about a week to finish my water pump. But I can truly say I have not had any problems since. Just make sure you have a little extra cause things can be a bit pricey but cheaper than others so I can't complain.

My husband and I started going to Durrell for oil changes. Their service was so impeccable and friendly that we bring our car(s) here for every service that we may. The staff is so friendly and the service is high quality and fast. Mr Durrell and his family are such nice and kind people. They make sure to keep you informed on the time that you may spend in the shop instead of just letting you sit and not know what's going on. We highly recommend DURRELL TORE & AUTO for all of your auto needs. Durrell is the greatest!!

I have been in the area for more than 20 years. This was one of the first businesses that I patronized in the first 10 years of residency and came upon them try by accident. Literally..... They took my vehicle in and made sure I got home. That was a shocker but quickly became a standard of judgment for others. I've gone to others for specialty work but have found myself coming back time after timeDurrell and his wife have been staples in the community through economic collapses, (Civil bankruptcy) and weather emergency. Regardless of the atmosphere, I've been met with respect and, to my knowledge, honesty. I've been cheated by other shops. They are busy most times but have been honest about it and have been good at notifying me when they have room. Their mechanics have been knowledgeable and have, at times, pointed out the problems and possible solutions for repairs. This is the kind of place that causes you to dread going on the hunt for a replacement when they shut down. Hopefully that day will not come anytime soon. I don't like a lot of hands on my vehicles and theirs have been some of the very few hand prints on mine. Outside of limited space and the wait time before service, I'm pleased.

They worked on my SUV charged me all that money I drove it for a week then it started acting up so took it back then Durrell said take it to another shop ,that was my money thrown away for a half done job he didn't even try to check the SUV out or nothing to see if he could correct his mistake, they need to be shut down

So, they get 5 stars. Here is why? This type of service is that southern family welcome. Every time you go there, they remember faces and cars. It s good to be acknowledged and have honest conversations.I went in today to get 2 new front tires . It was much needed. Other companies tried to charge me $335 or more. I think not. In that case, I could have got 4 new tires if need be, for that amount. I saved $61.90. Mr. Tommy and his staff gets . That s why my mom and I always go here such as for fair prices and honest work adjusting and replacing tires. I do research and compare tire pricing in my area all the time and no one ever beat their deals.Pls note: I like to go as early as I can before customers start pouring into the location. Just an FYI. They stay crowded. No mechanic can determine everything wrong with your car. Diagnostic test instead of you guessing is the the best way to go. Treat a car like a child. It needs TLC as well.

I was recently looking to purchase a used car. Did some homework, pulled diagnostic codes, and discovered issues during a test drive. Even though he was busy Durrell took the time to check prices on some parts and listen to my concerns. And a short video I took. Pointed out things I needed to be worried about. Offered a diagnostic inspection at a reasonable price. If you are in this area his is a shop I could recommend.

Durrell & his little wife were friendly AS always. Wait was long, but probably because I didn't call ahead. I ordered the tires on Tuesday expecting to take till Thursday to get there. Because I experienced that at other places. Durrell predicted after 9 am today. I got busy with laundry & didn't get there till after 10, out just after noon.

Found Durrell tires online, and called to ask about a specific size and they were helpful and informative from the get go! They were able to bring in another size when the size i ended up giving them was wrong. Very up front with prices, and easy to work with. Will definitely see them in the future.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They were able to get me back on the road with a good set of tires in no time. And I was able to save some money. I will definitely use them again in the future.

First impressions are everything. You ran me off by the way your handled me. I brought my car in for repairs the day you told me and you told me you were too busy it s not what you said it s how.. poor customer service skills..

I had my front and back brake pads replaced back in December 2021. My back breaks started squeaking in July 2022. Today, I had my oil changed at Brannon Honda and along with servicing my vehicle, they do a multi point inspection. My front brake were 9mms, but my back brakes were 5mms.The multi point inspection confirmed that used back brake pad were put on my car when I paid for new pads for the front and rear. I am highly disappointed and didn't not expect this type of service from Durrell Tire and Auto. I gave 2 stars because the guy at the front desk was very kind.

The manager on the desk asked me to leave the property for no reason and he tol me he won t work on the car for no reason and he said leave my property or You will be removed he s rude and playing with phone while I entered the office and talking with him. I haven t never trated like this in the U.S.

Family business that have truely gone the extra mile in my 20+ years of being a customer. I can honestly say that they have been like family to my friends and my own family and will always be there in your time of need. Durrell thank you for being such a blessing.

My Husband and I have been going to Durrell & Tom since 2012 when I tell you they are just like family to us!!! Any problem we have had with our car they have fixed it not one have we had to take it back after it s repaired!!! We have recommended them to everyone because they are the best!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! I've never been treated so rudely in my life!! After having my car for two weeks (when I was told the repair would take approximately 2 days), the owner of this establishment was extremely unprofessional when I called to check on my car. He raised his voice, overtalked me the entire "conversation," threatened to call my place of business, and hung up in my face. I am appalled at this awful customer service. I was extremely polite and calm and I did not deserve this treatment. These people still have my car and now I'm fearful that he will do something to my car before I pick it up, causing a need for further repairs. The integrity of this shop is questionable!

I Go Here for my Oil Change Through American Car Center, but truthfully I Think I m Going To Make Them My Go To Mechanic, I ve been coming here two years now and the PROFESSIONALISM Is Out This World ! Your literally in and out And They have a family environment, you walk in and you just know your going to get taken care of. Hands Down By Far best Place In Birmingham. I will forever refer this place.

Where mechanic work is concerned, this place is close to the best. Their prices are more fair than any spot I tried. Their prices are atleast $200 less than their competitors. The staff is nice and for a mechanic shop it is clean and comfortable. For me this place is highly recommended.

Went above and beyond to get me back on the road after hours. Helped me get back to Atlanta with a last minute, late Friday evening repair. These guys are great, and also gave me a great price on a replacement tire for my Escalade (not cheap but very reasonable).

Absolutely the best service EVER!!! My new go to place since my mechanic aka dad decided to move away. These guys are fair and super nice!!!
