We ve bought 3 vehicles from Driver s Way, 2 being purchased at the 280 location. Each time our experience was great! The last 2 vehicles we purchased from Chris. He s friendly and very knowledgeable about the vehicles. We prefer buying from Driver s Way because we know the vehicle has been inspected and the prices are reasonable. We highly recommend Driver s Way and Chris!

If you are looking to buy a car, make this your first stop. I cannot recommend this place enough. You won t regret it, and you ll gain invaluable knowledge about car buying. Trust me when I say the salesmen at Drivers Way are genuine, trustworthy and professional. There is zero pressure when you walk through the door. You will be met with professionalism and respect. They will listen and answer your questions without pushing you towards buying or looking at cars that you aren t interested in.Their cars are in PRISTINE condition. I have been to MANY used car lots in Birmingham, AL- and have found most used cars aren t even cleaned after being traded in or bought by used car companies.I was in shock to see the amount of effort they put in to detailing every inch of their cars. All four tires will match and they only sell cars with a clean car fax, and no recalls!!My schedule changed throughout the day and they were accommodating and understanding. There are no hidden fees at the end- and they will not try to pressure you into warranties or rates that will put you in a financial bind later down the road. They are very transparent about that.My only regret is not going there sooner. I truly wish this place was my first stop- it would have saved me copious amounts of time, money and stress. Please listen to me when I say- this is the best place to go for excellent customer service, clean cars and trustworthy people.I worked with Chris at the 280 location and cannot recommend him enough.

Great experience Sunday at Drivers Way. Good vehicles and prices with no pressure. I highly recommend this business. A 5 star shout out to the associate that helped us, and my new friend Jacorius Jenkins. If you are looking for a vehicle go to Drivers Way and ask for Jacorius. You will be pleased I am sure.

Worst customer service I ve ever dealt with in my life. They sold me a bad car that never ran correctly and was always in the shop. I would not recommend anyone to go here.

After a disastrous experience with another car dealer, we found found a car we liked online at the Hwy 280 location. Met Daniel Watson as we walked in the door. Everything was laid back and smooth. Process was very easy. There was no distrust of the salesman or sales manager, good cop bad cop, like other dealerships. The trade in experience was much better than at previous dealership, where they tried to claim things were wrong while admitting to knowing nothing about diesel trucks. Got 5.5k more for my trade because appraiser knew what he was getting. We bought the Ford Explorer XLT we came to look at. They even let us drive it to the Pelham location to compare it to what they had. Great service all the way around. Will definitely purchase from here and use Daniel again.

Well, folks, this place barely gets 1 star from me. I was a first time customer prepared to give them $$$$ and unfortunately I doubt I ll be returning. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole barrel, and that s what happened literally the second I entered the building. I m not sure if it was a case of ageism, homophobia, or just plain general discriminatory behavior against the handicapped good news though is that it was solely on the part of ONE SALES ASSOCIATE who needs to go actually do his job rather than intimidate a customer. Everyone else I encountered was great, but first impressions are important to me and Drivers Way FAILED miserably in this regard. I m taking my business and my $$$$ a few miles away to CarMax, where you re not treated like a shoplifter from the moment you walk through the doors. :-D

Can't recommend them enough. Woke up today thinking we were buying a new Infiniti SUV - My wife found a 2023 used one here that we set up an appointment to look at. Midstream, she found a different make that she wanted to see, that was at the Pelham location. A quick call to ask if they could bring it to the 280 location so we could see both at the same time, and no problem - the car actually beat us there and we bought it. Marshall was awesome to work with - it's never a quick process to buy a new car, but he made it as smooth, quick and seamless as possible. Will look to them first when we decide to replace another vehicle.

Eddie Johnson is the best! Easy going and friendly. No pressure, knowledgable about the vehicle and financing. He even helped me navigate insurance changes. I really can't think of anything negative to say about him or this location. I would definitely recommend working with him to anyone I know.

Quite honestly the easiest, most laid back car buying experience I ve ever had. Marshall was extremely easy to work with, with zero pressure. It was so low key that I was almost skeptical because I kept expecting the gotcha moment , that never came.

The service department is awesome. Don and his team are exceptional and the most professional team I have seen in a long time. They are working under extreme conditions at times and they always keep their cool. They tell the truth and managed to save me money. Other places tack on unnecessary items to boost revenue but people are not stupid. They will not be back. Don knows how to create loyal customers. They are also so kind. If you are rude and mean the customers will protect these hardworking folks operating on limited resources at times. When you arrive just relax and give them the time to do their best work. Several thumbs up.

Found a car on the Google and sent these guys an email. Within an hour I was working with Kirk Sterley, and it was an awesome experience. I will definitely call him again for my vehicle needs.

We went to the 280 location looking for a specific car for me. At another car place, the salesman would only talk to my husband and did not even acknowledge my presence. Brian at Drivers Way 280 spoke mainly to me (because my car), but also spoke to and acknowledged my husband since we went together. He was very nice and professional and there was no pressure to buy. He answered all our questions and was so helpful when we went back to purchase the car we drove. It was a great experience for us!

BUYER BEWAREI used their website to get a trade value for my vehicle. The trade in price was about what I had in mind. Based on this information provided by the Driver s Way website, I drove 50 miles to make the deal at their trade price. I get there and find the vehicle I wished to purchase. The salesman got my keys to look at my vehicle while I drove theirs. When I returned from the test drive I was informed they couldn t honor the trade value for my trade, and had no explanation for the difference in trade value. In fact the price difference was over $4,000! The salesman laughed and said he didn t understand either. I didn t think it was funny!!

It's fine. Not great. Probably wouldn't buy from again unless I found a fantastic deal. I had a salesman named Eddie. He will blow smoke where the sun don't shine. He checked on me until I bought the car and said multiple times he was going to call to check on me to see how the car was doing and never did. Started having issues with the car and he was no where to be found. Really felt like a regular car buying experience where they only want to sell you a car and don't care about anything past that even though they claim to. Also his attention was on multiple people so he was not just focused on one customer at a time which made me feel like he didn't have time for me and that's a big turn off to buy from someone who doesn't take you seriously. It's also a buying as is which is both good and bad. Friendly people though and decent cars for the price.

I had a fantastic experience with Driver's Way. Mr. Tim Shaw was professional and patient. Our new car has been absolutely awesome. We drove about 4 hours to get to this dealership and would happily do it again. My only complaint was that we had to wait for quite some time before we were able to fill out paperwork after we decided we wanted to purchase the vehicle.

This is either the 3rd or 4th vehicle we have purchased through Driver's Way. We go to the Pelham store to talk with Terrence Corprew, he's great. He knows his stuff and never, never any pressure. We told him this past weekend we would like to see two specific vehicles, he got the keys, pulled them around front and told us to find him when we were done.We drove enough to feel comfortable with our decision. Both vehicles were great, but we only needed one. So we made our purchase, he filled it up with gas and off we went. But to show how great this Drivers' Way is, we did have a problem about 3-4 years ago with a vehicle. We got it home and the check engine light came on. Our mechanic verified it was a bad head gasket. We took it back to their shop and their mechanic concurred. The GM apologized and took the vehicle back. We purchased another SUV that has been great! Bottom line: They sell great cars, but if something isn't right you can be they'll take care of you. Now, go see Terrence!!!

I love Driver's Way! When we bought our CRV it was a very pleasant experience. We also bought the extended service plan. Those have worked for us many many times. And again, it has. After about a little over a year, I started hearing a sound and took it to get checked out. The noise was so random that it was hard to catch. They gave me a new starter, and we thought the problem was solved. All I had to pay was a $50 co-pay, or it would have cost me over $600.00. But the sound continued. Like I said, it was very random. So I recorded it on my phone and they took it back .This time they took it to Honda. The problem was found and repaired. I did not owe anything else except for some maintenance service I requested. They were so nice and friendly to deal with, Starting with Don,then Jack, and Joe and the cashier gave me excellent service. I have raved to all my friends, family and co-workers about Driver's Way.When we are ready to get another car, Driver's Way will be the first place i will go. I LOVE DRIVER'S WAY!!

I wanted to get a used SUV with under 20,000 mile on it and Joe Coogan found exactly what I wanted. There was no dealer-type pressure or back room conferences with the salesman's supervisor etc. that I had dealt with as in the past when purchasing new cars. Trading for this vehicle was a pleasure. I got a practically new Pathfinder still under warranty that looked new, runs perfectly and a pleasure to drive. Driver's Way price was $7,000 less than the new vehicle price not including the trade-in value of my old car. Joe was a very professional, helpful with the paper work (he did it all !) , explained the routine that Driver's Way vehicles are thoroughly inspected and serviced before they put them on the sales lot. He answered every one of my questions to my satisfaction. The salesmen there are very aware that a satisfied customer is their best advertisement. The were so good to work with that we bought another vehicle 3 days later. Same experience with that car - again with Joe Coogan. If we ever need to trade cars again, we will see Driver's Way first and ask for Joe. I am sure all the other salesmen there have the same ethics and professionalism as Joe.I have already recommended them to several friends.

Chad Donaldson provided excellent service. He quickly showed us the options of the cars that we were interested in. Patiently he enabled my husband and me time to evaluate the car and have private conversations to make our decision. In the purchasing process, Chad was thorough in explaining our options and what our financial responsibilities are. I highly recommend Driver's Way and Chad Donaldson.

Eddie Johnson was the best! My boyfriend was very hesitant to the end about purchasing a vehicle. It really helped that there was no pressure into making a decision from Eddie. We ended up buying something that we really wanted at a great price and we owe a big thanks to our salesman!

Great experience at Driver's Way on 280 last Friday. Had a vehicle on hold at Carmax but ending up buying one from DW. Not only was it in better shape and a better deal, but no sales pressure or haggling which is a real treat when your exhausted looking for "the" car. Truly a great experience! We highly recommend Daniel Watson as your sales rep.

Just purchased the wife a 2015 QX80. I found Driver's Way price to be extremely competitive. The vehicle was in great condition with low miles. Mark Higgins was a pleasure to work with and he and the dealership more than met our expectations. I would highly recommend the dealership and Mark.

In my month of looking for a Chevy Cruze, I had a few terrible experiences! I decided to go to Drivers Way and Eugene Zinger took great care of me! He explained everything perfectly! He didn't make me feel like a "percentage on his pay check." Thanks to Eugene I had a great car buying experience!

My wife and I had the best car buying experience at Driver's Way. Our sales associate, Joe Coogan, wasn't just an ordinary car salesman. He actually took the time to find the exact vehicle we were looking for and for a great price! I have nothing but good things to say about Joe Coogan and the staff at Driver's Way. We will definitely come see Joe again when we are ready to buy another vehicle. Thank you to Joe and his staff for helping us get our dream vehicle!!

I have purchased several cars from Driversway. The Hwy 280 store is where customer service is at. They don't push you at all, just help you choose the vehicle that your looking for. Nolan Riess is the one who has assisted me with my last few purchases, I would recommend asking for him. Five star service, no pressure, plenty of options. Driver's Way 280 Thanks again !!! I will continue to shop there and send all my family and friends. Great experience!!!

Kirk was super helpful. We were able to get in and out over lunch to check out a vehicle that caught our internet. We've sold a vehicle (or two) to Driver's Way in the past and they've been pretty easy to work with.

Great experience buying our SUV from Tim Shaw with Driver's Way 280 location. Reviewed and drove several vehicles while getting some good info and advice without the pressure to buy. I would recommend Tim Shaw for your next vehicle purchase.
