This place was amazing as Palmer brothers when they specialized in Dodge and GM. A few years ago I needed a trunk lid light for my Dodge charger. They had 15 on site that worked for my model. Had it the next day for 158.00. Was fully functional.Now they don't specialize in anything, they sent 5 "tested replacements" which all didn't work properly. Wasted a month of time, they couldn't get it done and would have been more than $100 more than before. The sales people were nice but doesn't help when you can't actually help the customer.

Never made it pass a conversation on the phone! Smh. Whom ever answered the phone was rude when I asked about a part from a car that fits 06-11 models. They cut me off as I was explaining what I meant n said hold on n didn't return back to the phone so I hung up. They were Just confrontational and irritable over the phone for no reason.

I have never left a review before, but this has been the most frustrating experience of my life. I asked for a part. They said they would check and to call back the next morning. I called, no one has checked, call back this afternoon. I call, leave a voice mail on both the main parts depth line and the ext line of the rep. No return phone call. I call the next morning, leave another message. It's been 4 days, I still don't even know if they have the part. No one will return my call.

Worked for this fat smart mouth manager,will fire you for the dumbest things with no notice will not let you come back to get your things. His moods change by the minute very unprofessional and foul! Joseph Johnson! It was better when it was Palmer Brothers!

I have dealt with Walt for a few years now for parts for my personal vehicles and have been extremely happy and satisfied with his service and expert knowledge. He is very thorough and helpful with all of my questions and has saved me thousands in parts and time. Recently, my daughter wrecked her camaro and Walt was able to locate and deliver the exact parts needed to the body shop fast and easy. 5 Star service!

I would NEVER buy from these people!!! 10 days ago I called about a door the man gave me a price of $300. I told him I would take it but I had to wait till I got paid this week. Well I called back today to let them know I was coming to get it in the process of doing that I mentioned that I checked around an no one had one, as soon as he heard that the price jumped up to $500. So my advice is to never shop there or if you do I would suggest to shop around first!!!

Even though they couldn't help me personally they were nice enough to point me in the right direction.It helps everyone if you have all your information, make ,model and year. Be nice , be pleasant and be patient.Thank you ,Palmer Brothers for being professional

Paid for engine in full, and it took 10 days to get the engine. After that it has been two weeks and they still haven't picked up the core. That means I don't get core money back until they get the engine. Picking up core's are not a priority for them

Randy specifically gave the best customer service I have had in quite a long time. Everybody there isDown to earth, honest, and I would recommend any and every one to there. I had purchased a new transmission for a 2011 Mitsubishi gallant, and they were amazing from the very beginning, till I pull it off. I cant Emphasize enough how great their customer service is.

I bought a 2014 Kia Optima engine from this company. Walt was the best representative ever, the engine was clean I mean clean no oil or dirt anywhere. The engine work perfectly no issues, I would definitely buy anything for a automobile from Palmer Bother s..

This was my first experience with Palmer Brothers and I will definitely be using them again! Randy is the man you need to speak to for all your automotive needs. I was able to get an original oem hood for my truck that was in great shape, for hundreds less than i could find it online. Don't hesitate to give them a call for anything you need!

1st time I've ever done business with these gentlemen and I have to say, I will certainly do it again. I was in a pinch for a flywheel and they had one for a lot cheaper than I could get one new. Recommended by my mechanic with high regards too at that I didn't hesitate to contact them on the spot, they verified they had one and began to get it ready. I picked it up the same day.This is like the you-pull-it Auto Parts place where its a big junk yard and you recycle old parts, but in this case THEY PULL IT FOR YOU! and bring it to the front for payment and delivery.

We needed a used rim for my daughters SUV the day before she was leaving for a trip. Everywhere we called either was not helpful or tried to sell us four new rims. Eric at Palmer Brothers was very helpful in finding a rim that would fit and get her on her way

These guys are always very helpful and able to find what I need. They will guide you through the process so you get exactly what you need. I definitely recommend them for used auto parts.

They will tell you one thing and do another, they can't be trusted and there business practice seems to be ( theft by deception ) use your own judgment you have been warned. I paid thelm for a part, they told me if it didn't work they would refund my money. I paid a 20.00 core charge. Plus the part ,tax. The part didnt work so i when I went back for a refund they told me ( no refunds ) credit only ! They didn't return my item or my ticket or my 20.00 core charge nor did i get a credit! I have a copy of my ticket so I'm going to seek legal advice just to be fair after all its my money.I'll probably need to fill out a police report for theft of service for documentation. I will update the outcome.10/ 2016.Good luck , to all that has business dealings with this company!

About 6 months ago I went to buy a wheel for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, they said they had one. After sitting in the lobby for a good 5 minutes and being ignored someone finally asked me what I needed. Then I waited 30 minutes for them to tell me they didnt have it (it was lost).Today I went back for a wheel for a different car, again I was told the parts were lost and they didnt have one, again. I guess the moral of the story is, even if they say they have the part, they may not. I wouldnt suggest doing business with these guys. Forced to look elsewhere, I found the same wheel on ebay for $10 less INCLUDING shipping.They lost $250 of my money and a customer over poor inventory management, which in the salvage parts business is pretty important. Try LKQ or online before going here.

I would stay away from this place as my experience for engine replacement was nightmare and still is as I am headed to small claims court with it. They may be good for parts but for mechanic work I give them less than 1 which would be ZERO.

If I could leave less than a one star review here I would do so. This company (and its employees...I won't name names, but one of the OLD guys) are some of the most rude and disrespectful people I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Not only are they chauvinistic and rude toward people, women especially, they do not stand behind their products or their so-called "guarantees". When I mentioned coming by there to discuss my motor, the OLD chauvinistic pig of a salesperson told me he would have me arrested. Save yourself the headache and your wallet a lot of pain and go ANYWHERE besides this place. You're welcome!

I have worked with and dealt with just about every Used Auto Parts company in Birmingham AL and Palmer Brothers is without question the one I am impressed with the most. If anyone, family, friend or stranger, asked me which Auto Parts business to do business with, I would suggest them.

Got a engine from them 3 weeks ago. It started knocking. They gave me the run around for two weeks about replacing it then agreed too. Pulled the engine and took it over to swap it out and they said it wasn't their engine. Sorry people and dishonest. Be careful
