If you have any doubts, I promise you toss them, this is the best place you can bring your bimmer.. we all know it's not cheap fixing these things but they have been good to me pocketwise to the extremes, and my 2012 328 f30 still going strong, 214000 miles later... They have done all my repairs including the timing chain.Y'all amazing-amazing

These guys are fantastic! They do all the work on my 2013 X5 and 2000 540 6spd, which I ve owned for 18 years! They only do BMWs which they themselves not only drive but also race on the track. Very honest and competent team. I am so glad to have my vehicles under their trustworthy care. Thank you Johnathan and Joey. I appreciate what you do! -Ed T.

The most friendly, knowledgeable BMW repair services in town. The owner actually has years experience working for BMW dealer and has the knowledge he gained through the years . They give you that assurance they know what your cars issue is and the best way to get you safely back on the road.

I have two BMWs and I only let the the mechanics here work on them. This place and the family that runs it, is awesome! They are friendly, kind, professional and do top notch with for a fraction of the dealer prices. Jonathan ordered my transmission on Monday and my to my surprise my car was ready with a new Drive Shaft and transmission on Thursday morning. For almost half the price that or was going to cost me at the dealer. I HIGHLY recommend this shop and will not take my cars anywhere else.

Jonathan and Joey were great people to do business with. I was hesitant about using an independent shop over the dealership for our BMW, but I decided to give them a try based off a strong recommendation from a very close friend. On arrival I immediately noticed a well cared for shop, and was greeted by 2 clean and kind professionals. They diagnosed and repaired our BMW very quickly. I will be using them again in the future, and I highly reccomend more people to give them a go. We are more than happy with our repairs.

I've just recently moved to Birmingham and didn't know any decent BMW mechanics here. Found this place and they did a great job. Easy drop off and super communicative. Did it for a fair price, considering the quality of their work. Even cleaned up the engine bay a little after finishing. Definitely going again.

Everything that has ever been wrong with my 1999 Z3 has been fixed expertly well from simple fluid changes to major work.Not only has the work been outstanding, the friendliness and will to share advice with honest sincere manner.I truly appreciate them and would recommend Bimmer Motors to anyone and know that their car would be in excellent care.

I had ignition coils replaced like 4 different times, secondary to an indicator of drive train malfunction. One coil replacement was 157.00 dollars. We paid to have all 6 replaced, but we would soon get another drive train malfunction. Again another coil replacement. Finally in frustration when it happened again I bought 6 new coils for 26.00 dollars each. It took 30 minutes to replace all 6 coils, and I am not anything close to a mechanic. So total costs was 169.00 for coils, 30 minutes of my time.Interestingly, though this repair shop claimed they put in new coils, one just a month before I replaced them. The coils were all old, I believe they put used coils in this engine but charged me for new coils at 57 dollars each and 100 s of dollars to replace.Seems we live in a world of greed and corruption. I will never go back. Beware, these folks are friendly, but I believe crooked. Since I replaced the coils, no problems for 20,000 miles. When they replaced the coils it was about 5000 miles before a coil had to be replaced yet again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Another shop told me I needed a new transmission, Joey replaced a module. Saved thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. Honest folks.

Outstanding Customer Service, Honest Labor Time and Fair Labor Rate. I recently moved to the Birmingham area and a friend recommended them. I ve had BMW E36 and E46 M3 Race cars and do a lot of work myself, but as I m in transition I don t have my tools with me so had them work on my 2012 BMW E92 M3. Had them pull and reinstall the aftermarket dampers and camber plates for me which needed to be rebuilt (they even shipped them for me while I was out of town!), replace wheel studs, and replace differential, transmission and motor oil and brake flush while it was there. They did great work and charged fair prices for everything they did. And again, outstanding customer service - shipping aftermarket parts out for me!!! Highly recommend!!!

I'll never bring my car to my 'friend' or the dealership ever again. My 325ci (my baby, nicest car I've ever owned, & for a while I thought I would have to sell it b/c they're expensive to maintain) unfortunately had to get towed. I found this place after calling around, including a friend, and they still had the best pricing around AND had my car back to me by the next day. It wasn't the original problem I thought; however, they called me and kept me informed about everything the entire time. They could completely charge more b/c of the great customer service, competitive pricing, & being able to fix your problems when they actually happen, but they still choose to be a great, locally owned, family business. They've literally been so great that I'll work as hard as I can to keep my BMW just so I can always get my car serviced here.

Nice young man said that they were busy but that they would check the codes on our X3. We have owned it for over two years and it has had a skip while idling that would sometimes occur when accelerating. A NC dealer tuned it up last year but did not correct the problem. When asked about it, they suggested that we use genuine BMW parts. After checking the codes, Motor Works told me that it was apparently a coil on one of the cylinders.They were able to fix it and get me out in less than an hour. Less than reasonable cost. Car runs great. We are very happy and will continue to take any BMWs that we own to them for any services that they can perform.

First and last visit to this shop. Took my 2013 328i in to have a new electronic module (CIC) replaced. This module controls the navigation and radio. I was told by the owner- Joey that he could replace the module and reprogram the radio and navigation. I had to pay for the part and labor upfront before he would order the part ($1730). After taking the car in several times he told me that he could not reprogram the navigation and Bluetooth and that I would have to take the car to the BMW dealer!

I had high hopes with this business but recently it has shattered those hopes. I was told to bring my car in on a particular day and when that day came I was told that they were closed for that day during the week.

My only go to shop for a mechanic,my BMW is 10 years old and taking it back to the dealer was very expensive,Bummer does the same job at a reasonable price.
