I had a pleasant experience. I feel the customer could improve a little because car repairs are on the expensive side and you want pleasantries and friendly conversation when spending small fortunes.

Reasonably priced and super helpful. One of the only places that didn't overcharge me on my oil change! They looked at my car real quick to determine what needed to be done and didn't charge me. I will always keep coming back to this place for any car problems.

These guys rock! I had an issue with my Charger leaking a small amount of transmission fluid. Despite being super busy, they checked it out for me as quickly as they could. It was an easy fix and they didn't overcharge me with a bunch of hidden fees (like some other places will). If you want an honest and professional shop to work on your car then this is the place to go.

One of the most impressive auto repair shops I've had the pleasure of returning to. Their prices are very reasonable, they do excellent work, and are honest.Roger took the time to explain the work done on my A/C, and explained to me that there may still be a very slow leak which could be expensive to repair, if it turns out to be the evaporator. Such leaks are very hard to detect, and could require removing the dash and steering wheel. He was basically letting me know it wouldn't be worth spending the money for that repair, should the leak re-occur and it be in the evaporator.I've also bought tires from them, in addition to having my air conditioning system worked on here, and I've been satisfied with the results both times. I recommend Auto Whiz without reservation.

I have used Auto Whiz numerous times and have had nothing but great experiences every time. They are quick, and courteous and do a very good job. I have had everything from tires, to oil changes, sensor changes and tune ups and have NEVER had either bad service or a bad job done. One time the owners wife actually drove me to work while they worked on my car!! Now if that isn't going above and beyond the call of duty I don't know what is.If you want a great job, excellent service and courteous respectful employees you should definately try Auto Whiz!!

I ve been coming here for years back when it was Goodyear. I love this place, and I ve since moved to Montgomery, but I still come here when I have car troubles. I only trust these guys with my car after some bad experiences with repair places in Montgomery. Mike Beverly and the staff always recognize me when I come in and are quick and honest people. They re also very reasonably priced.

I have used Auto Whiz for several years, Mike is awesome and so are all the guys there! They have worked on two different vehicles for me- one a small truck and second an AWD SUV. I am always impressed by the friendliness, promptness and quality of work preformed. Suggestions are accurate and forward thinking to prevent accidents or unexpected repairs but also budget friendly. If you need perspective they will also assist. I have done maintenance (oil change/ tire rotation), brakes and tires here and have been pleased with every visit. There is a strip mall behind the shop and it is very easy to have lunch or go to nail boutique while they do repair or maintance. Highly recommmend!!

This place is great - honest and they know what they are doing... I was on a trip for SEC Tournament and found myself in Birmingham with no power staring. They got me in quickly, and were done within a few hours or so. Replaced power steering pump, and out the door for under $600. Highly recommended.

Cliff and the guys at Auto Whiz took great care of us. They got my wife's van back on the road after the water pump died. The turn around was quick, and the price was reasonable.If you ever need work done on your car, at least give Auto Whiz a call to get a quote.

On 3/3/21 I had the best experience with a repair shop. Richard was the most kind, personable, and knowledgeable repairman I have ever met. I called to see if Auto Wiz had an opening and he asked me in the most respectable way to call back in a couple of hours. When I did he told me to bring the car in. I asked him to check it out for me before I purchased the used car. While he was checking it he showed me some problems with the car and asked me for a price range that KBB had it for. When I told him he suggested that I pay less than the highest amount in KBB. Armed with the report from Auto Wiz, I went back to the seller and offered less than what I originally offered and saved $1200. Richard, thank you so much! Not only will I take my car there from now on, I will definitely recommend Auto Whiz on Valleydale Rd. to other people.

Brought the car in at 9am for a simple oil change and rotation. Left 3 hours later when they still had cars ahead of mine. Much, much slower than the hwy 280 store. Staff were fine, just too slow or overbooked, which works out the same.

Terrible service. Rude desk personnel. Rip off artists. I would not recommend this to anyone at all. ZERO STARS. Every oil change we've had they didn't fill it up to the required levels, gave us an estimate on a job that was $1000. Went to another shop and got the exact same job done with a lifetime guarantee for $175.00.

On December 17, 2021, I came here and asked if they could put some air in my tires. I m a single woman driving alone and nervous because of tire pressure. The manager unenthusiastically said pull around and 20 minutes later no one came out. I got no air in my tires nor did they even acknowledge that I was sitting in my car parked waiting for help. Everyone seemed really rude and very unhelpful don t use this place. If I could have given 0 stars I would.

We are from out of town, had the dog with us even. Car overheated on the interstate. Pulled in to Auto Whiz, they got us right in, even got water for the dog. Great job fixing the car, fast, efficient and so nice. They were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. Really appreciate what they did.

Great service. Honest. I had an engine light issue. They fixed it and a few days later it came back on. Took it back and they reset it checked a couple of things and told me it was the computer had not completely reset. Said if it came on again bring it back. It hasn't and they never charged me for the visit. Prices are very reasonable.

These are very inconsiderate auto mechanics that I have dealt with in an auto shop. Both my wife and I have had $1000s of dollars worth of work done to our cars over the years. I called in to ask a simple question for concern of my wife's vehicle and the first man "Buddy" hung up the phone while I was mid sentence. I called back, this time "Roger" answered, he acted like he couldn't hear me until I said I need to bring my wife's car in, that got his attention. When I began asking my questions again he quickly rushed me off the phone again with out considering our concern. I do not recommend this shop to anyone and will never bring our cars there again. What happened to family auto shops that show concern for their customers???

Customer service is non existent staff is very unpleasant and combative almost annoyed your there business with them. They deploy all the usual shady mechanic tricks to cheat their customers. Would not recommend to anyone

This is the worst shop ever. I got 2 new tires put on my car and 3 days later one of them just fell straight off and my car slide from the road onto the dirt and I was 2 feet from a huge ditch that would have killed me, i'm just glad I didn't have my son. Well at first they say they will fix it and do the right thing, so I wasn't that upset, but after 6 hours of waiting and they paid for the tow and they said they would pay my rental fees and fix my car, well suddenly the next day the other owner says no that I did the damage, can you believe that. After spending 6 hours the day before and the shop owner or manager even admitting he messed up and paid my tow and got me in a rental or now trying to say they will not fix my messed up suspension or the body damage it did when the tire came off and front of car sunk into the ground. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. THIS IS THE WORST AND I MEAN THE WORST AUTO SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT ON NEW TIRES, THEY ARE LIARS AND JUST SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR THAN CHANGE THEIR MIND. I'LL BE SEEING THEM IN COURT. BUT PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT CRAPPY WORK FOR A HIGH PRICE.

Been using them for years. Even though they can be rather standoffish with their customer service they do great work. I recommend them over any other repair shop in bham.

I HAVE USED AUTO WHIZ AT BOTH LOCATIONS FOR MANY YEARS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND TIRES. THEY ARE ALWAYS UPFRONT WITH THEIR ADVICE AND MY OPTIONS. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE AND THEIR SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCELLENT. I ALWAYS TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN MY SITUATION, AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH AUTO WHIZ OR ITS MANAGEMENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.

They always shoot straight. They'll look at what you want, give you an estimate before doing the work, provide good reasons behind any suggested work, and do whatever you decide.
